A recent poll from Public Policy Polling, showed U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) co-captain Megan Rapinoe defeating President Trump in a hypothetical 2020 presidential matchup. (Tweet) Rapinoe, the co-captain of the World Cup-winning U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team, has in many ways become a media fascination, best known for protesting during the U.S. national anthem. Given Rapinoe’s strong opposition to President Trump and her strong stances on political issues, Public Policy Polling decided to poll a head-to-head contest between the president and the soccer star. The result? Rapinoe bested the president by one percentage point.

This is so moronic. Why was this even a poll? Why did someone write an article about it? We're going to get the government we deserve.

Seriously? PPP must be desperate to enhance its reputation. Either that, or they just want to find out how many people can be fooled all of the time. That shouldn't be hard to find out; just look at some Twitter posts, most young Democrats, and most college professors.

Yeah, right. Hilarious. If this were true, this Republic is now ended! If most voters actually want an adolescent, self-important, lesbian, America hating goon to be the leader of the free world, then there truly is not hope for these people. Lead me to my gas chamber- I would welcome it with open arms rather than live in a Megan Rapinoe world and watch her and her minions peck this once Great Nation to pieces..

Any polling company can say anything they want--no proof of truth, just the propaganda is published. I don't believe ANY of them anymore. If they can say Doofus Baloofus beats PDT, they'll do it. This isn't news, it's wishful propaganda. MAGA!!! KAG!!! Let her run, she couldn't keep up with PDT if she tried! She's a winner on the soccer field but a loser in life.

Donald Trump, unlike Barack Obama &Company, loves talking about America’s “exceptional” qualities, but we tend to overlook the importance of the exceptional qualities of Trump himself. No, this will not be a suck-up exercise about the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. A serious discussion of President Trump and his record should not neglect Trump’s faults and mistakes, but it must honestly assess how Trump’s own background has shaped events in America and the world. In many respects, Trump is a fulfilment of the vision of America by the French historian Alexis De Tocqueville, who studied and described American exceptionalism almost 200 years ago, and his words are still accurate.
