President Trump made history on July 4th with the truly AMAZING Independence Day Celebration in Washington DC. The president brought in military hardware and delivered a wonderful speech to honor this great nation and its heroes.(Photo) At the end of President Trump’s speech the Army Chorus sang, “Glory, Glory Hallelujah!”And the Navy Blue Angels made several flyovers.
It was an AMAZING SIGHT!

That was some bad ole stuff displayed last night. The flyover that took place at the end of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" was freakin' awesome and well-timed. I was almost in tears, and I appreciate PDT for seeing that we needed this celebration at such a time as this.
Our military is the finest on the freakin' planet! I am so honored to have served as a Marine wife for 18.5 years of my life (Marine Wife Extraordinaire-I have the plaque to prove it); it was an experience that I will always cherish. I wholeheartedly appreciate that I had the incredible opportunity to raise my children in the military environment. You know military brats are some of the best and most well-raised children we have. I'm biased? Yes, I am.
I've been to tons of airshows, military change of command ceremonies, silent drills, Marine Corps balls, and other events, and it never gets old. I still cringe when I hear people say ex-Marine. They're a proud bunch, those Marines. I have so much respect for them. And, Seabees can build the heck out of anything! We lived in Army housing, on Navy bases, Air Force bases, as well as Marine bases, and we got to experience some of everything from each branch. I got to enter the Pentagon using my own freakin' Military ID card! I love my country so much, and I thank God for her. Ain't no doubt, I love this land. Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you!

I was born and raised in Pensacola, FL, home of the Blue Angels and every time I see them I get a huge case of goosebumps and a lump in my throat.
As the song says, Proud to be an American!

The Left, who can't manage a two car funeral, might take a lesson from The Donald who had dozens of aircraft appear as if by magic right on schedule......down to the second....as he spoke.
Don't think this does not strike fear into our enemies.
We can hit you where-ever and when-ever we chose.
BTW---Tank warfare became history after 1953. Displaying tanks is no more offensive than displaying horses and fancy swords.

I loved the B-2 Stealth Bomber!!! What a wing span!!!
I also noticed how diverse the crowd was; I saw a good number of Hispanic, Black, and Asian citizens. They didn't look at all threatened being among all those evil white supremacists. The make up of the crowd is sure to give the left heartburn. Brings a smile ti my face.,,,,

When all that was going on, where were the leftist and liberal Democrats who complained so loudly about the highly patriotic commemoration that President Trump presented at the Lincoln Memorial? Halfway across the country hiding in Iowa cornfields!

Did any one notice how emotional VP Mike Pence was with the music peaking just as the Blue Angels roared overhead? It's officially cool to be a proud American again.

The Blue Angels (and the Thunderbird team, I have to mention because my brother was a crew chief for two of the planes) are the best of the best. I also get goosebumps when watching these planes. These pilots are awesome. Just a little note. when obummer was in office he cut back so much on our military that parts for planes were not being manufactured. Our military had to scramble and find parts needed for aircraft from other downed planes. It was terrible and so dangerous. PRESIDENT Trump got the funding needed to keep the military in action. Thank God we have PRESIDENT Trump You can see he loves this country and the people who defend it.

Loved the Blue Angels, but was most struck by the B2. When it first appeared on the TV screen, I could not make out what the huge nebulous thing was between the two fighter planes. Another person wondered if Trump had included a UFO. Then the camera angle shifted and I saw that huge wingspan and could make out the shape. Having it in the middle between the other two planes provided a sense of scale. It was enormous.

The fly overs were spectacular. They always make me tear up with national pride.
Yesterday was well needed day of celebration for the all of us forgotten men and women. Thank you President Trump.

All the B-2s are stationed at Whiteman AFB, about an hour drive east of here. I got a tour of the
B-2 a number of years ago, had to get a background check before getting cleared (had a top level classification clearance at work at the time, but still) and look them over up close.
We see them here reasonably often in the skies, and I have seen them when I was flying my
own aircraft, too.
Even when familiar with them......that is one badass looking bird. My wife commented when I
said that during the DC flyby yesterday - "It looks like some kind of spacecraft."
Heck of a good national display.
Great job, America!
Great job, Mr. President.

That’s impressive about your brother, #11. It means he knew the planes intimately and is one of those guys who considers of perfection,
‘Well, OK, close enough this time, but watch it!’

They Blue Angels are performing here in KC this weekend. My friend in the FBI has been watching the practice from their downtown offices, which are across the river, on a hill from the airport.
I'll be watching them this weekend, too.
I love the Blue Angels have been watching them since the days they flew the might Phantoms, and my father was flying them, too.
