Nike has decided to pull their America-themed 4th of July sneakers which featured the “Betsy Ross” flag, after former NFL anthem-protester and Nike pitchman Colin Kaepernick raised concerns over the offensive symbolism he felt the flag displayed, the Wall Street Journal reports.According to the WSJ. The sneaker giant created the Air Max 1 USA in celebration of the July Fourth holiday, and it was slated to go on sale this week. The heel of the shoe featured a U.S. flag with 13 white stars in a circle, a design created during the American Revolution and commonly referred to as the Betsy Ross flag.

What is with these companies committing suicide just to keep from offending this jerk, and others like him who hate the country that made them all successful beyond their wildest dreams? Alienating half the country at least... NOT a great business decision. Nike Just Doo-dooed It.

SO, ANY Progressive accusation now requires politically correct virtue signaling to avoid a "boycott"?
These tyrants can only succeed if we acquiesce. As such the tyrants have America exactly where they want it. You object? Shut up and sit down or we'll send Antifa over for a visit.

According to Kaepernick, everything is connected to slavery. Why on earth would he want to live in this country ? Oh, right, nobody else will put up with spoiled brats.

I smell a rat here. Nike made 6 pairs so the Kneeler could condemn them. This is just to coincidental. Nike could care less what America thinks. They get so much from overseas. Yea, this is a setup

They might want to keep them because of its connection to liberty and freedom. I threw away all my Nike gear a long time ago after Nike gave a big endorsement to Kaperpickle. I’m in to Under Armour now. Nike is way to political in the wrong direction.

Nike finally makes a sneaker that Blacks won't kill each other to have, and Nike refuses to make them.

It boggles the mind to wonder just HOW MANY shoes Nike will take a bath on because they financially sponsor the guy who lost a $115 million dollar contract to play football because he had bad statistics after signing the contract and couldn't do much else afterwards but stir up division.
He has lost the limelight to AOC who comes up with some sort of crap every day to say LOOK AT ME !!!!!!
How does someone who got only A LITTLE OVER 16,000 VOTES become such a "super star" among the media? She is like an insolent spoiled child thinking that the more she complains and gripes that we will take her seriously. The media will move on from her at some point like they did with Kapernick.
I'm sure Robert Francis O'Rourke, the last media sensation, is green with envy!!!

Well, Britain introduced slavery to the American colonies so I do hope Nike will cease doing business with the UK.

Oh! So this Afro-wearing walking talking anus can get to wear police-as-pig socks, but nobody should be allowed shoes honoring Betsy Ross? G. T. H.!

If the pampered, overpriced quarterback is so worried about symbols of slavery, let's talk about Nike shoes that are all produced by slaves. No solidarity with your Chinese brothers in chains, Colin?
