Modern Feminism: Today's fake movement is no longer about women

Evolving from a crusade for equal legal and property rights for women in the late 18th and early 19th century, the journey toward what we call feminism coalesced around the voting rights “suffragette” movements in America, the UK and elsewhere. But modern feminism, the current century’s radicalized version of women’s drive for equal rights, has become a radical leftist cult.

This is all about the Equal Rights Amendment going around in 1973-1975. They want this soooo bad to put white American males in their place... the woodshed.

This exactly why the Socialists are even in the game. This country has moved farther left then ever before because of women. It's all about feelings, and nothing about substance.

The only issue feminists have any more is abortion. They insist on the right to murder their babies. In everything else they've been upstaged by transgenders, who are higher on the PC rights scale. No more privacy for women only in bathrooms. No more winning for women in sports, because faster and stronger men who pretend they are women are allowed to compete. The left is strangely silent on women's rights on those issues.

Beats me why young women today need to feel empowered and like men. Someone is making fools of them.

They had better be able to support themselves, because the present millennial males they've created, that are still living in mom's basement with a degree in gender studies or psychobabble will never be able to support them.

Democrat debates: Kamala Harris, the herds newest alpha 7 replies

Whatever your politics, Kamala Harris had a good night in Miami. Her performance in Part 2 of the first Democratic debate was well-planned, carefully executed, ruthless and impressive. The herd of Democratic candidates for the presidency is astonishingly large. Watching them gather in Miami was like watching a herd of wildebeest descend on a water hole. How can there be so many? How can they all survive?

Marine Corps UH-1Y pilot Capt. Brian Jordan was low on fuel when he heard a frantic plea. Two British soldiers had been hit by a Taliban Improvised Explosive Device (IED) and were at death’s door. It was June 21, 2012, in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Jordan had had a busy week of flying missions when he learned that a small unit of British Grenadier Guards were pinned down under heavy enemy fire. They needed an urgent MEDEVAC.

Each Democrat candidate seems to try and top each of the others with a proposal for more free stuff. From health care to college to guaranteed income, the free that resonates with the mini-mob of the day. President Trump says its a race to who can give away the most stuff, and raise taxes the most. Voters are overwhelmed with an onslaught of vote for me and get it free.Freedom from debt, or the need to sow what you reap, now replaces our Constitutional Freedoms as a talking point.

It’s no secret to anyone paying attention that the liberalism of the left and all its virtues control America’s West Coast. However, the warm and fuzzy “progressive” aura that seems so attractive to unschooled is a sham. Sadly, to such voters, the phrase “somebody said so” is often the only proof they need to justify their ballot choices. But, as has is far too evident here in Seattle and in Los Angeles, such myopia has a price. The price of the Left in Charge.

Toxic masculinity is now defined as any guy refusing to act like a metrosexual beta male. In the real world, biology created two and only two different genders. To continue returning America to normal again, it is time to reveal the Top 30 Hottest Political Women of 2019.

The Trump – Pence campaign set a $7 million fundraising goal for the day of the President’s Election 2020 announcement in Orlando, Fla. In a fundraising memo to supporters, President Trump writes: “I want to do something so HUGE to launch 2020, even Democrats and the Fake News won’t be able to ignore. We need to raise $7,000,000 by 11:59 PM TONIGHT.” Instead, raising nearly $25 million, the President won bigly in his first day of official campaign fundraising. In perspective $25 million is more than what each of the top five candidates for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination raised combined in the first 24 hours after they launched their campaigns.

It’s sometimes hard to know if the folks at The New York Times are simply trolling us or if they’re completely serious. Times reporter Kevin Roose spun quite a yarn last Sunday entitled, “The Making of a YouTube Radical.” By radical, he and his paper mean those free-thinking Americans whose ideas lack the proper vetting from, well, them. Those that require censorship.

Vlad Lenin is supposed to have once said that a lie told often enough becomes the truth. A sentiment then parroted by Adolf Hitler in Mein Kampf. It’s hard to argue their point, given what passes for climate change news here in the Pacific Northwest. Alternatively, at least it used to be. According to our governor, Jay Inslee, Western Washington is already in the middle of a drought. Meaning that, in normal Seattle-speak, it hasn’t rained for three days. In Jay’s panicked opinion, we’re locked in a heatwave so intense that it might be given disaster status.

Last night, Kamala Harris repeated her story about how, thanks to busing, she was able to be part of only the second class to integrate in the Berkeley public school system. She used this story to thrash Joe Biden, who offered anti-busing legislation as a U.S. Senator in the 1970s. Last year, I questioned Harris’ story: [I]s it. . .true that Harris was in only the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools? Based on an examination of old yearbooks from Berkeley High, Freida Powers reports that classrooms at Berkeley High were already integrated in 1963, a year before Harris was born. I wondered whether Harris

Megan Rapinoe, star forward for the women’s U.S. national soccer team, seems to hate the world. She goes around with a scowl permanently etched into her weathered face. Though an outstanding soccer player, Megs has it in her head that she’s getting cheated, and that the cheater is Donald Trump. So she refused to go to the White House if the team wins the women’s World Cup. Trump then extended an invitation to the team whether they win or lose and of course Megan took it with ill grace. The girl has no graces, only grimaces.

A new bill would calculate potential costs of reparations — and by Yahoo Finance estimates, these could reach as high as $17.1 trillion. Last week, the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties held the first hearing in a decade on H.R. 40, the Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act. The bill was first introduced in 1989 by former Congressman John Conyers (D-MI). Conyers reintroduced the bill each year until his retirement in 2017 — and each year, the bill languished in Congress. The bill’s focus was not to pass reparations, but
