There’s a reason why you should always be skeptical of conventional wisdom when it comes to elections.Conventional wisdom said Trump should have been finished after almost every 2016 primary debate. It didn’t happen. There are many reasons for that, not the least of which is that what gets the juices flowing for beltway insiders may not appeal to normal people. Is there another example of that dynamic beginning to play out?Last night, Kamala Harris savaged Joe Biden on the topic of race in the first Democratic party debate.

I agree. She came across as caustic, bitter and enraged.
Not a formidable woman, a nasty one.
Just like Hillary.

Plus she blatantly lied about being in a school that became 'integrated' while she was attending it.

Disagree. It's wrong to assume her ploy was only for black voters. While black voters may still demure over Harris, lefty white women will like her more. They want someone 'feisty' and are undoubtedly not sold on Old Biden.

But they just can't admit that, or ever be challenged to apologize for the fact that the Dem Party was the Party of slavery, civil war to maintain such, segregation, Jim Crow, KKK etc. etc. Their heritage is racism of the worst kind, because it went beyond a cultural/economic heritage (awful as it is to hindsight judgement) to a cruel oppression. That's the Party i'm talking about, not every individual Southerner.
Why not ask them each and ALL, for example, about Senator Byrd, once a "Grand Kleagle" in the KKK? He himself was never publicly questioned about it (I sure haven't read of it).
The Dems really do need a soul-cleansing experience of confession. Then apologies for blaming Republicans for their very own sins. Maybe then this grotesque fandango of theirs tearing apart the wounds barely scabbed over before their next barrage of hateful rhetoric.
So Harris's attacks on Biden actually ought to be a critique of the Democrat Party and Biden should admit, confess, that his Congressional battles were with fellow Dems (which might make him seem noble, instead of the puny money-grubber and hair sniffer that he is).
Then again, can we ever forget Biden's evaluation of BO in '08, that he was a nice lookin' guy, clean and articulate?

Can't wait for Kamala Mattress' "morality" to be bandied about. Hard to belief any true feminist would ever support her.

Has no one brought up the fact that the two Senators mentioned were both Democrats? Uncle Joe was a mere freshman Senator then [when dinosaurs roamed etc.] and rapidly learned the meaning of 'coalition politics'.
Kamala 'Mattress' has no need to be nice to anyone any more; she was only nice to Willie Brown for a reason. Rumor has it she threatened to arrest him for spitting on the sidewalk once she was chosen as Cali State AG. As #1 stated, "caustic, bitter, and enraged". As she appears in every Senate hearing when questioning a Republican.

Looking at that photo, I don’t think anyone running into Harris on the street would even think that she’s black.

Well it sounds like Biden did one thing right during the debate, he unmasked a truly nasty and mean woman. No wonder the Obamas like her. Somebody needs to track down the exonerated guy she let rot in prison for two additional years and see what he has to say about her qualities. I bet he could tell quite the tale about Kamala Harris. Willie Brown is already spilling his guts in the press, on at least two occasions. She should never have disrespected him like that after she got elected DA. She has enough skeletons in her closet, that if she is the nominee, I don't think Trump will have a problem bringing them out to play.

Had to look up RBF, #2. Yep, Kamala de Ville is one hard-looking
female, alright. She could play the wicked step-mother in anyone’s
movie. I doubt she has a snowball’s chance for the same reason
Hillary isn’t President today. Mean and ugly is written all over her.

The Sealy Mattress Queen didn't savage Joe Bite Me. Harris lied and Joe just stood there and looked like Ole Joe, STUPID.
Joe was right in his choice to vote against busing and sided with the other KKK members at the time. It was a state issue and not the federal government's. Busing was used before Harris was born so what did she do but just play the 'race card' in the Q&A sitcom called a debate.

"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle with you."
Not many in the middle on the Dem side of things these days. All clowns to the left.
