They crossed the Crossroads of the World — hundreds of feet above the pavement.A brother and sister from the famed Flying Wallendas circus family on Sunday night successfully crossed a tightrope suspended between two skyscrapers 25 stories above Times Square.Seventh-generation daredevil Nik Wallenda, 40, and his sister Lijana, 42, started at opposite ends of the 1,300-foot wire between 1 and 2 Times Square and crossed in the middle, in a sweat-inducing stunt aired live on ABC. This was Lijana’s first high wire feat since a 2017 near-fatal accident in Florida that left her

Scary stuff. I have climbed mountains, nothing higher than 13,800 ft, and I put mountain climbing far easier than tightrope walking. But then again....Everest is in a class by itself, extreme length of climb, extreme cold and extreme and deadly altitude.

Well personally I find this a welcome relief from having to think about Pelosi and Schumer and Schiff and 20+ clowns and Hillary and Chelsea and Obama and and and and and. I'd love for the Wallendas to do a repeat performance in Miami on the nights of the debates next week.

Congress is considering a new measure that would extract millions from frozen Iranian bank accounts in order to subsidize the cost of its recent downing of an American drone in the region, according to congressional sources and a copy of draft legislation viewed by the Free Beacon. The measure, filed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas) late Monday, would require the Trump administration to assess the exact cost of the drone, which could be anywhere from $120 million to $220 million, according to sources familiar with the matter. The move comes as congressional hawks and Iran critics seek more ways to penalize Iran for its increasingly flagrant military attacks

Johnson is well known for winning a 1989 Supreme Court case that invalidated state laws against flag burning. The Democrat Plan to ruin America is very clear. California Governor Gavin Newsom gave it away just days ago. Thank you, Gavin. The truth will set us free.Newsom argued in a Politico interview that the national GOP under President Trump is an exact repeat of the California GOP under Governor Pete Wilson in 1994. He argues that Wilson destroyed the GOP in California by campaigning for a law to limit spending on illegal aliens. From that point on, California became a lost cause for the GOP. Newsom claims that’s exactly what’s about to happen to the national GOP. He’s right. Guess who lived in California in 1994? Yours truly.

The firm was founded in 1990 by Erik Brunetti, who applied to register the name in 2011.Brunetti challenged the government's decision to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which ruled in 2017 that while the government correctly deemed the mark to be scandalous, the prohibition on registering immoral or scandalous marks is an unconstitutional restriction

Last Monday evening, Ocasio-Cortez compared detention facilities for illegal aliens caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border to “concentration camps,” adding the phrase “never again,” which commonly refers to the Nazi Holocaust. The remark drew outrage and criticism, even from fellow Democrats. Nevertheless, Ocasio-Cortez doubled down, first claiming that she had not been referring to Nazi Germany, then drawing parallels to the U.S. internment of Japanese-Americans during the Second World War.

E. Jean Carroll, a longtime women’s advice columnist, has accused President Trump of sexually assaulting her more than two decades ago in the dressing room of a department store. Carroll, who was 52 years old at the time of the alleged assault, makes this allegation in a book she has just published. I have no trouble believing that Trump has improperly and forcefully touched women in the past. For one thing, he said he has (to Billy Bush). Young people are growing less tolerant of LGBTQ individuals, a jarring turn for a generation traditionally considered embracing and open, a survey released Monday shows. The number of Americans 18 to 34 who are comfortable interacting with LGBTQ people slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018 – the only age group to show a decline, according to the annual Accelerating Acceptance report. And that is down from 63% in 2016. Driving the dilution of acceptance are young women whose overall comfort levels plunged from 64% in 2017 to 52% in 2018, says the survey conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of LGBTQ advocacy group GLAAD.
