Last Wednesday the intelligence community launched its first attack on Attorney General William Barr’s investigation into its illegal acts and abuses of power during the 2016 election. In a New York Times article entitled “Justice Department Seeks to Question CIA in its Own Russia Investigation,” the IC makes clear its fear of the results of Barr’s investigation of their spy operation on candidate Trump in 2016 that continued through his early presidency.
The article, obviously written at the behest of its intelligence community sources — “current and former American officials” — is the first of many concerted attacks on Attorney General William Barr’s investigation of the joint CIA/FBI spy operation.

As Barr gets closer to the truth and people like Brennan and Clapper and others really start to feel the heat, be prepared for vicious false flags, 'terrorist' attacks, school shootings, etc. in order to distract and evade... or even direct attacks on Barr and Durham. We are surrounded by traitors and they are not going to go quietly.

#1, I completely agree. The intelligence community is out of control. The unelected bureaucrats inhabiting these agencies arrogantly believe they are above the law. Because they are able to hide behind their need for secrecy in order to protect people and methodology, it is going to be nigh to impossible to obtain critical information. Reasonable people can deduce from what has already been revealed that there is gross abuse of power going on in these agencies. The hard work will be in proving that in Court. The fight will be fierce because their very existence relies on their ability to continue to effectively mislead and stonewall. The media will also be a critical factor used by them to sway public opinion. AG Barr and his team of investigators will have the full force of these agencies breathing down their backs in ways most of us could not even imagine. God bless them and keep them safe.

Remember the 60's and 70's and 80's when leftists hated the CIA and FBI? That was when the CIA was running black ops in Thailand to support the Viet Nam effort and the CIA was overthrowing Pinochet in Chile. That was when Senator Church's self righteous staff was unmasking assets in Eastern Europe that lead to death of multiple assets. That was before they realized they could infiltrate and weaponize these institutions against conservatives. Attorney General Barr needs to start with the little fish, the ones that cannot afford expensive attorneys. Roll; them, just like Mueller tried to do. Anyone who stonewalls or refuses to cooperate needs to hear that familiar phrase, "YOU'RE FIRED."

Call me pessimistic, but with each passing day I grow more convinced that Barr and Durham are going to come up empty handed. The swamp is broad and deep and will do whatever is necessary to protect itself. Hope I’m wrong but I doubt it.

The Obama KGB Gestapo cannot be reformed. De-fund, dismantle, demolish. NSA-CIA-DOJ-FBI-ATF-IRS. Gone Don't want to hear about all those good employees, not one of whom stepped forward to expose the coup conspiracy. Fire every last one of them. Start over. America is no place for Obama's tin pot police state.

"why the C.I.A.’s analytical work should be subjected to a federal prosecutor’s scrutiny."
Because there is a YUGE wall between what the CIA does for FOREIGN issues and what is done for DOMESTIC issues. There is a doorway through the wall, the FISA court, and it is supposed to be carefully guarded by the DOJ and FBI. The CIA came a knocking on the FISA door with their BS "analytics" and the DOJ and FBI CONSPIRED to let them into the country. In the midst of all this illegality was, unsurprisingly, Hillary, the DNC, and BO who guided and provided technical support to the process.
Further, is was all baloney and everyone involved KNEW it was. Far more effort was put into leaking juicy parts and shielding the action from detection and oversight than was used for actually acquiring and "analyzing" the information. Hillary and the DNC paid Steele to write a screenplay. To this day there is NO confirmation of the information. Some of it is DEFINITELY fake but that was glossed over. End of the "analysis". Meanwhile, IGs were blocked from seeing any of this and Congressional oversight was shut out.
After 3 years of various investigations, NO AMERICAN was found to have participated in collusion with the Russians. The whole thing was so fake that NOT ONE AMERICAN was found to be involved.
Along the way, the counter intelligence agencies decided that, rather that warning Trump about their concerns as is regular policy, they would make this into a sting operation. This exposes their true goals, not to protect the Country, but to GET TRUMP.
The DOJ and FBI perverted the FISA court and let the CIA monster loose in the Country by assisting with investigations of Americans and especially a presidential candidate based on fraudulent (and childish) "analysis". The wall between foreign and domestic agencies exits for a critical reason and the assault on Trump is a sterling example of it. Foreign agencies operate on analysis and suspicion. Domestic agencies operate on evidence and law.
As the article states, the people who carried this out should "fired", "lose their reputations", and, - "if the evidence proves that they violated the law - sent to jail". The people that block Durham's investigation should be held for obstruction if nothing else.
Let us see the same zeal that was used to chase Trump for fake crimes used against those who perverted our government to commit real crimes.

The Company NEVER runs scared.
They hold so many damaging secrets, they are untouchable. The federales and those misusing the power they are entrusted with stick together.
They have a very strong record for keeping things quiet, even when Congress investigates, but there have been a lot of connections made which have been substantiated, so perhaps THIS TIME something will come of it, but there is STILL a lot of information being withheld from the public about the events of 22 Noember 63 so if Mr. Trump is defeated for re-election NONE of the information will be pursued and crookedness will prevail.

No, they're not, Jed. They are stalling for time until the 2020 election. They (and the treasonous RATS) believe with enough illegal votes, they can beat President Trump and all the investigations will disappear. It's the Clinton way.

Well, Chief Justice Roberts should also be concerned about the FISC. He oversees it. Were his judges just rubberstamps or what? And Gina Haspel - she will be another big mistake of a nomination - just like Sessions and Wray at FBI.

There are a LOT of fundamentally corrupt people inside the CIA and FBI. They MUST be
ferreted out, prosecuted and imprisoned for long terms.
This is absolutely necessary if we are to regain control of the country. If not, we will likely slip
into a civil war at least as violent as the last one.

We live in scary times. The American Secret Police will get violent before they will let themselves get exposed. They prefer to retain power by old fashion blackmail, vote fraud, big public lies, and secret deals. But they will begin to kill people, including Trump, it that's what it takes. A traditional long, methodical investigation leading to indictments will probably not do it. What's needed is a sudden purge, but that's probably not gonna happen. Who would have thought 10 years ago that Donald Trump would be the last great hope for our Republic, standing between us and tyranny...

Honest, innocent officials should have no fear of the investigation. In fact, they should welcome it so that the guilty can be dealt with and removed. I'm sure the honest and innocent officials were disgusted by the corrupt former and current leadership, and would like to see them prosecuted and punished. The question is: How many are honest and innocent?
