A new letter from the Justice Department addressed to Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) reveals John Durham’s investigation into Spygate is much larger than previously known. AG Barr’s review of the FISA abuses and surveillance against Trump’s campaign is “broad in scope and multifaceted,” according to the DOJ letter. The letter to Nadler, penned by Assistant Attorney General Stephen Boyd, indicates Fusion GPS, foreign intelligence services and non-governmental organizations and individuals are all a target of US Attorney John Durham’s investigation into the origins of Spygate.

We FINALLY have an investigation with the scope and needed power to unearth and see the whole picture. Part of the problem has been that various pieces, while troubling and likely illegal, don't show the coordinated effort to pull the all the pieces together for a single purpose. That purpose was the true evil, the real danger, and the intent of the planners was that the serious THREAT it embodied would remain hidden. Sure you could fire a Comey and denounce a Brennan. However, their actions were not isolated and haphazard. They were part of a whole. A conspiracy. A covert action against the legal foundations of our Country. Durham's investigation is a recognition that the "whole" exists and that the inquiring eyes of the Justice Department are now looking at it. THAT is new. We are now headed in the right direction with Durham, Barr, and Trump all in agreement that this needs to be done and is of critical import.

Wouldn’t a meeting with the tireless Sara Carter, the researcher John Solomon, Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch and the historian Victor Davis Hansen provide enough material to allow AG Barr to focus immediately on the ring leaders and actions of this coup against our Constitution? My fear is that Barr will spend the next 2 years investigating Obama’s gang without ever prosecuting anyone. We should also be concerned that FBI Director Wray doesn’t sidetrack or block the investigation. Since Wray’s appointment in 2017, the FBI has stonewalled both Congress and Judicial Watch on all documents related to spying on Trump. Wray appears to be a swamp protector rather than a drainer.

You can be sure that AG Barr will ensure that all the crimes are well documented and irrefutable. Unlike democrats, who go off half-cocked with ridiculous, unfounded charges. It may not happen fast enough for the pessimists, but it will be done and heads will roll (figuratively speaking, unfortunately!) For the impatient, consider what has happened so far: The deep state is paralyzed at the moment, scrambling to save themselves. Deep state criminals have been identified, with more to follow. The media has been fully outed. Congressional democrats have gone off the deep end, such that even the moderate democrat base is criticizing them. Members of their own caucus rebelling against a pay raise, out of fear of the voters! The list goes on...

I like #7's comments about them interviewing Sara Carter, John Solomon and Tom Fitton to help get up-to-speed on the details they've already uncovered. We also need patience, since the timing of any indictments and charges could be well-timed for the next election and put many Democrats scrambling to explain things. And, force a lot of people who might think about voting Democrat to realize it may not be a good choice in 2020.

It would seem that by extension, when all is said, that the Democrat Party will also be named as conspirators in this endeavor. They have aided and abetted in keeping provable lies afloat and assisted in disemmintating false stories.

It’s official: Despite claims from Democrats that President Donald Trump’s policies have only benefited the wealthy, his policies are in reality slated to benefit every American household to the tune of $3,100 annually, minimum, starting sometime after five to 10 years. “Since January 2017, there has been a historic effort to reduce costly regulation, while protecting workers, public health, safety, and the environment,” a report published by the White House Council of Economic Advisers last month reads. “[The council] estimates that after 5 to 10 years, this new approach to Federal regulation will have raised real incomes by $3,100 per household per year.”

The notion of history repeating itself is usually viewed as a negative statement, but some history is worth repeating because we might learn and be guided by it. In last week’s 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court rejecting the Trump administration’s claim that adding a question about whether a person is a U.S. citizen was for the purpose of helping to enforce the Voting Rights Act, Chief Justice John Roberts left the door open for the administration to come up with a more compelling reason. Whether this can be done in time for the 2020 Census is doubtful without an extension for document printing.

In America, we celebrate the 4th of July and not April 15th, because, in America, we celebrate our independence from the government and not our dependence on it. And so we celebrate Independence Day 2019. Growing up, I thought of our Founders almost like superheroes — larger than life. As the son of a small-town pastor and a part-time bookkeeper, I was not able to travel much so my first visit to Independence Hall in Philadelphia came later in life. It was almost like entering the Hall of Justice in the television show “Super Friends.” Standing inside the hall and looking at the chairs and desks,

President Trump appeared to stick the script and delivered a Fourth of July speech saluting the five branches of the U.S. military. The decision to hold this "Salute to America," which included flyovers from military planes and the presence of tanks of the National Mall, drew considerable controversy in the days leading up to it, including concerns about the militarization of the holiday and the cost. An estimated $2.5 million was spent by the National Park Service to fund Trump's event. Still, when it came to the speech itself, Trump sidestepped saying anything overtly controversial.

President Trump is throwing an Independence Day celebration today to honor the United States. Predictably, the Left lost its mind in response to the event and decried the celebration as emblematic of a totalitarian regime rather than American democracy. Appearing on Morning Joe, Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson described the event as a "combination of [a] Trump rally and Kim Jong-un–style military parade." He bemoaned the fact that Trump's "obscene" celebration would "spoil the whole day." The event, according to USA Today, will feature a military parade, flyovers, fireworks, and remarks from Pres. Trump himself.

Goldberg told Morning Edition‘s Steve Inskeep that Amash’s departure was “a sign of many of the symptoms he’s talking about,” including the increased partisanship of American politics — which, Goldberg argued, was ironically a result of the weakening of the traditional parties in the face of challenges by outsiders like Donald Trump and Sen. It was excellent. Even CNN, in a report to which Jim Acosta contributed, couldn’t find fault with anything Trump said, although it took the obligatory shots at the event itself. CNN acknowledged that Trump’s speech was not political, but rather “a message of national pride.” Unfortunately, the matter of national pride has become political. But there was nothing in the speech that anyone would have found objectionable before left-liberals rejected the notion of pride in America. There was nothing in the speech that any patriotic American rationally can find objectionable today. You have to dislike America to dislike what Trump said to the crowd on the Mall.
