On a sunny afternoon in 2010 a man stepped through the window of his San Francisco apartment onto a ledge, looked at the street below, and saw a cheering crowd taking cell phone videos while yelling: “Jump! Jump! Jump!” His death was collecting clicks on the web within seconds. This unsettling episode provides a grisly metaphorical glimpse at the motivation of the media as they continue to peddle impeachment. They know it would be political suicide for the Democrats because only a minority of voters supports removing the President, yet they crave the countless clicks and eyeballs the circus would inevitably produce.

Most democrats know that A: grounds for impeachment are shaky at best and B: Removing Trump, absent a cold body, isnt going to happen. In typical fashion, democrats dont want to resolve an issue, they want the issue. They will beat this horse hoping that its a winning issue, and then they will beat it for another 4 years in the run up to 2022 and 2024. They will make accusation after accusation, obstruct non-stop and hope that it poisons Trump's re-election hopes and that of other republicans seaking office. What the democrats did too Palin in Alaska is a how to guide.

I am not convinced that the press knows that impeachment proceedings against Trump would be political suicide for the Democrats. I think that many of them live inside enough of a bubble that they don't understand why any Democrat politicians won't get behind impeachment. There are many in the press who do understand, but a large percentage do not.

While on YouTube a commercial/ad to impeach President Trump played before my ten minute view would play. I watched with amazement how rabid and crazy the idiot was wanting to impeach the President. The left will not abandon the impeachment theme, ever. For eight long years I ignored Obama and knew if there was ever talk like impeachment it was a path of political suicide for the Republicans but the left and their fake news media live everyday in the turmoil of hate.

In a key finding of the Mueller report, Ukrainian businessman Konstantin Kilimnik, who worked for Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, is tied to Russian intelligence. But hundreds of pages of government documents — which special counsel Robert Mueller possessed since 2018 — describe Kilimnik as a “sensitive” intelligence source for the U.S. State Department who informed on Ukrainian and Russian matters. Why Mueller’s team omitted that part of the Kilimnik narrative from its report and related court filings is not known.

“I’m amused,” Attorney General William Barr told CBS News’ Jan Crawford, “by these people who make a living disclosing classified information, including the names of intelligence operatives, wringing their hands about whether I’m going to be responsible in protecting intelligence sources and methods.” He went on after further questions, “Well, the media reaction is strange. Normally the media would be interested in letting the sunshine in and finding out what the truth is. And usually the media doesn’t care that much about protecting intelligence sources and methods. But I do and I will.” You don’t have to have been “in the business” for Barr’s nearly 50 years to understand what he means

Is there any chance environmentalists will recognize the humanitarian imperative of using fossil fuels? Certainly not, if climate activists cling to the notion that carbon taxation must be a top priority in the presidential race. It’s a sign of our disordered political times that 11 Democratic Party presidential hopefuls have endorsed the Green New Deal, a climate resolution calling for a national mobilization against fossil fuels at a cost estimated as high as $93 trillion. Environmentalists who will make up an important part of the troops on which the Democratic Party is relying in its effort to defeat Trump maintain

Democratic Party politicians are more radical on abortion policy than their voters are, but you’d never know it from reading the news. “Trump, Pence Lead GOP Seizure of Late-Term Abortion as a Potent 2020 Issue,” one New York Times headline declared in January. “Trump and Republicans are trying to paint Democrats as radical on abortion” was the Washington Post’s contribution about the same time. Another one from the Post: “Republicans seize on liberal positions to paint Democrats as radical.” The implicit assumption here is that Republicans are dishonestly framing Democrats’ abortion policy and the popularity of their approach. This premise is inaccurate

On Sunday, CNN held town hall specials with a trio of presidential candidates -- Seth Moulton, Eric Swalwell and Tim Ryan. We watched it so you wouldn't have to. All three of them are Democratic members of Congress. None is in danger of becoming president anytime soon. So why do we pay attention to what they say? Well, because as they stammer and sweat and pander profusely, they give us a good idea of what the Democratic primary voters believe and what they care about. And of course, the thing they care about most -- a thing they can’t stop talking about ever – is race.

If you know the history of the 19th Amendment, you will notice a peculiar omission from the statements issued by various Democrats celebrating the 100th anniversary of its passage by Congress. Elizabeth Warren, for example, tweeted: “People always say that big change is impossible. That’s what they told the suffragettes (Snip) What Warren conveniently forgets is that the people who said it was “impossible” were Democrats. Her party blocked passage of the amendment from 1878, when it was introduced by the Republicans, until the latter won such huge majorities in the 1918 midterms that the Democrats were no longer able to deny women justice.

Presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is once again proving that it’s easy to be a democratic socialist. All you have to do is make wildly unrealistic promises and blame rich people for the world’s problems. After that, most of the left-wing media will fawn all over you for your “revolutionary” and “innovative” thinking—no matter how foolish the policy proposal might be. Sanders’ newest idea is to have government build “millions” of new housing units to help improve access to “affordable” housing. “When I talk about infrastructure, I’ll tell you what else I’m talking about: The need to build

Attorney General William Barr’s nearly hour-long interview with CBS News’ Jan Crawford last week was full of fascinating details about the special counsel probe, the debunked Russia collusion theory that roiled Washington for years, and Barr’s investigation into how the FBI and Department of Justice used the “bogus” theory to investigate the Trump campaign. The interview was downplayed by the media, which is implicated in perpetuating the Russia hoax Barr is investigating, and which came in for criticism from Barr for its failure to care about violations of civil liberties. Here are the top 28 take-aways from the interview.

If you are bewildered by the weird antipathy with which Democrats and the media regard Attorney General William Barr, consider a passage from the Nobel Prize acceptance speech delivered by Polish dissident Czesław Miłosz in 1980: “In a room where people unanimously maintain a conspiracy of silence, one word of truth sounds like a pistol shot.” Our government hasn’t yet devolved into the kind of totalitarian regime under which Poland groaned at that time, but there is a conspiracy of silence surrounding the skullduggery that led to the Russia collusion fraud, and Barr fired that metaphorical pistol on April 10, 2019.

William Barr's interview Thursday with Jan Crawford is filled with fascinating details and surprisingly candid responses, but most interesting of all may be that he undertook this dialogue not with friendlies at Fox or the Wall Street Journal but with CBS — the very beating heart of the mainstream media from well before the days of the Dan Rather embarrassment. The network is the sine qua nonof Deep State establishmentarianism. You would think they would crucify him, but Barr is fearless — and justifiably so. He knows he is telling the truth and that, as the saying goes, will set you free.

The statement by special counsel Robert Mueller in a Wednesday press conference that “if we had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime we would have said that” is worse than the statement made by then FBI Director James Comey regarding Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign. Comey declared in a July 2016 press conference that “although we did not find clear evidence that Secretary Clinton or her colleagues intended to violate laws governing the handling of classified information, there is evidence that they were extremely careless in their handling of very sensitive highly classified information.”

Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton claimed Saturday that one “cannot read” special counsel Robert Mueller’s report without concluding that President Donald Trump committed obstruction of justice. “You cannot read the report, chapter and verse, fact after fact, without reaching those conclusions,” Clinton then stated the American public is expecting fatigue with respect to the media’s insistent covering of the special counsel’s findings and want to get on with their “normal lives.” “People just want to quit hearing about it and get back to their normal lives. There is nothing normal about undermining the rule of law,” she said, per the Associated Press. “There is nothing normal about attacking the press.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg knows firsthand the burden of six-figure student loan debt. He and his husband, Chasten, are far from alone, though, and their personal college indebtedness is helping to keep the issue on the national stage. With loans totaling more than $130,000, they are among the 43 million people in the United States who owe federal student loan debt. The debtors are so numerous and the total debt so high — more than $1.447 trillion, according to federal statistics — that several of the Democratic candidates have made major policy proposals to address the crisis. Their ideas

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton believes President Trump's administration is a gateway to fascism. "The idea that it can't happen here is just old-fashioned, my friends,” the former secretary of state warned this weekend during an address at Wellesley College. Her remarks came with a specific reference to former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's new book, Fascism: A Warning. How seriously should we take any “warning” written by a former secretary of state who mocked 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney when he cautioned about the growing Russian threat? I am going to say not much.

Acosta cites instance after instance when this President and many of his staff show that they are bent on interfering with the ability of reporters to bring the public an accurate account of the administration's stewardship.

This summer, PBS Kids premiered an episode of the children's show Arthur in which a teacher, Mr. Ratburn, "marries" another male character. Even before this premiere, PBS was already infusing the LGBT agenda into its programming. In between its shows, a happy song about families included an image of two dads with a baby and lyrics to that effect. Disney and other children's stations long ago jumped onto the LGBT bandwagon with their line-up. As a Guardian headline noted in 2016, "From Nickelodeon to Disney: Children's TV leads the way for LGBT characters," with same-sex unions featuring prominently in shows. It is not just television,

California wants to look after its people, so it keeps expanding its social safety net. It also wants to welcome all comers and so embraces illegal immigrants and protects them in sanctuary cities. To see how this is working out, visit Skid Row in L.A. or neighborhoods in San Francisco or elsewhere where homeless camps are spreading. Caring for all Californians is made harder by the state importing as many non-Americans as possible. It's almost incredible, but also entirely characteristic, that California lawmakers have now decided to give healthcare free to nearly 100,000 illegal immigrants aged 19 to 25.

Lake Erie and Lake Superior — two of the five that make up the Great Lakes — broke records for water levels this May. Lakes Michigan and Huron could follow suit. Naturally, climate change is getting the blame. “We are undoubtedly observing the effects of a warming climate in the Great Lakes,” says Richard Rood, a University of Michigan climate scientist. But just a few years ago, climate scientists were insisting that a warming climate would cause water levels to decline. In 2008, Science Daily reported on a study that attributed the decline in Great Lakes water levels to global warming.
