MAGAnomics – JOLTS Report: Record
High Employment – Available Jobs Exceed
Labor Pool by 1.6 Million…

Original Article

The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Summary, aka “JOLTS report“, lags behind monthly employment reports by a month as the ‘hires‘ and ‘quits‘ are contrast against available job openings. In the latest JOLTS report we find evidence why the May employment numbers were less than expected. The data shows the economy is expanding; businesses are hiring; and the reason for lower new hires has nothing to do with an economic slow-down. In essence, the labor market is tight, very tight, and Main Street businesses are having a hard time finding qualified workers.

I suspect those one million plus jobs are either high tech jobs, or manual labor jobs.

The original article says there has never been a better time for middle class Americans to find a job. I don't think that fits with your guess #2.

Here in Texas the Permian Basin (fracking) boom is explosive. We need workers desperately. Anybody who has a commercial driver's license can be out earning a living getting in as many overtime hours as are legally allowed and we have a sever driver shortage. Because MOST OF THEM CAN'T PASS THE DRUG TEST. Ditto the thousands of other available jobs. If YOU can pass the drug test, get your butt to Texas.

Justice Department officials are pushing back on the suggestion that a recently struck deal with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler will give Democrats unfettered access to documents pertaining to former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. A source familiar with the negotiations told Fox News on Tuesday that while the agreement with Nadler, D-N.Y., would allow members of his committee to review certain underlying evidence associated with the Mueller report, he is not going to get access to “whatever documents he wants.”“This is not a blank check. The pilot killed Monday when his helicopter slammed into the roof of a New York City skyscraper was not authorized to fly in limited visibility, according to his pilot certification, raising questions about why he took off in fog and steady rain. Tim McCormack, 58, was only certified to fly under regulations known as visual flight rules, which require generally good weather and clear conditions, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The rules require at least 3 miles of visibility and that the sky is clear of clouds for daytime flights. The visibility at the time of Monday's crash was about 1 1/4 miles at nearby Central Park,

John Dean? Really? If this was a Dickens story, John Dean would be playing the Spirit of Scandals Past, the forlorn and decrepit old spirit carted out to warn others. But his warnings are no more than craven fodder for the Spirit of Scandals Present, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler. Why don’t the Democrats just admit they were wrong about collusion and move on rather than continuing to embarrass themselves? This is one step away from calling washed-up actor Tom Arnold and notorious Trump-hating Twitter stars, the Krassenstein Brothers, before Congress to testify on how they think the president of the United States is a criminal.

According to two media reports democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is scheduled to completely reverse his position on China, and outline the Asian nation as a global geopolitical threat in an Iowa speech today. That’s not a reversal or a flip-flop, that would be a triple-lindy. Since the first day he announced his candidacy Joe Biden has been saying China does not pose a threat to the U.S. or our global allies. He has consistently down-played any talk of China as an economic or geopolitical threat to the U.S. The Biden family has also made millions from their financial relationships with China, assisted by the family patriarch selling policy influence.

Joe Biden delivered an impassioned plea for the public to presume then-President Richard Nixon “innocent until proven guilty” at the height of the Watergate scandal in 1973. In his remarks, Biden made comments women might find offensive and used racially insensitive language, especially when lecturing on what he thought “was good for the Negro.” Although portions of the speech initially surfaced in a book by a leftist journalist and the full audio was published by

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg knows firsthand the burden of six-figure student loan debt. With loans totaling more than $130,000, they are among the 43 million people in the United States who owe federal student loan debt. The debtors are so numerous and the total debt so high — more than $1.447 trillion, according to federal statistics — that several of the Democratic candidates have made major policy proposals to address the crisis. California wants to look after its people, so it keeps expanding its social safety net. It also wants to welcome all comers and so embraces illegal immigrants and protects them in sanctuary cities. To see how this is working out, visit Skid Row in L.A. or neighborhoods in San Francisco or elsewhere where homeless camps are spreading. Caring for all Californians is made harder by the state importing as many non-Americans as possible. It's almost incredible, but also entirely characteristic, that California lawmakers have now decided to give healthcare free to nearly 100,000 illegal immigrants aged 19 to 25.

Lake Erie and Lake Superior — two of the five that make up the Great Lakes — broke records for water levels this May. Lakes Michigan and Huron could follow suit. Naturally, climate change is getting the blame. “We are undoubtedly observing the effects of a warming climate in the Great Lakes,” says Richard Rood, a University of Michigan climate scientist. But just a few years ago, climate scientists were insisting that a warming climate would cause water levels to decline. In 2008, Science Daily reported on a study that attributed the decline in Great Lakes water levels to global warming.
