An online friend who must remain anonymous has been musing about what those ostensible conservatives who despise President Trump must now approve of, if they seek to defeat his re-election bid, and thereby hand the presidency to the Democrats’ nominee. This is the implicit set of values and goals that they must now embrace:1) Abortion on demand is a good thing; 2) Infanticide is a good thing;3) Letting Iran get a nuclear bomb is a good thing;4) Higher tax rates are a good thing;5) More regulation on businesses, big and small, is a good thing;

It's not as if NeverTrumpers were ever known as serious thinkers.

The list is right on. Could probably add more perverse lib policies, especially if Mayor Pete were to win (God forbid). In the end, it's all about the sheep and the goats.

Climate change is real. The government must limit the freedoms of the general populace to control the climate.
(How do these people control the humidity in the summer?)

FAR: ''The government must limit the freedoms of the general populace to control the climate.''
Not only that, but The government must raise taxes on everything so that the politicians have more ''walking around money!''

Yes ... you've left out dozens of things!
Taking your guns is ok, requiring you to face a felony if you have ammo of any kind in your possession is ok, having a burly 17-year old High School kid who is really a man but "thinks" (actually he's pretending) to be a young woman being allowed to shower in the girl's locker room after he pounds your real daughter into the ground playing filed hockey is ok, taxing churches is ok, giving illegal aliens driving licenses is ok, allowing ONE child born 5 minutes after his/her mother sneaks across our border to become an "American citizen" is ok, then allowing that one brat to bring in 50 relatives who don't work is ok, etc. etc. ad nauseum!

The mystery is how a Democrat voter can buy into this cultural , political, suicidal agenda? I guess we'll have to see how many do come 2020.

Like Feminism, so goes NeverTrumpers.
They both had their day. The American People have moved on and are not looking back. The NeverTrumpers are basically sell outs and cowards.
Adios!

I sincerely believe most politicians (if not all) have serious personality disorders. To be able to lie to peoples faces, to intentionally misrepresent what they know to be truth, to be so amenable to the rampant corruption as long as they get their share- these are some seriously rotten people. They hate PDJT because he is not one of them. Not by profession, or ethics or morals. His mere presence (let alone, success) makes their failings readily apparent. The never trumpers are the worst of the lot, the pondscum of the political backwater, unwilling to see themselves as they really are. Losers.

I think a lot of people lost influence and connections when Trump became President. They lost some cozy relationships built up over the years. And they didn’t like it. I can understand not liking Trump because of his brashness and coarseness, and for them it negates the good stuff is doing.

I think the first word of #12 on the list should be "Repealing" instead of "Requiring".
Another thing that could be on the list is: Spying on the opposing political party's presidential nominee with the intelligence agencies of the US government is OK.
Seriously, these NeverTrumpers need to stow away their anger and disgust and face reality: President Trump is doing what he promised. How many other presidents have done the same? Not many, so get with the program and support this president! It will not harm your precious little self esteem.

Yet there are still Never Trumpers in the Bureaucracy, in the Judiciary, in the GOP leadership, among GOP donors, and even in the West Wing. Can the RNC clean things out, or will we need a new party to get the job done? [rhetorical question /s] Time is running very short.
