Nancy Pelosi is between impeach and a hard place. “You want to believe that there’s all this unease in our caucus,” an irritated House Speaker told the press on Thursday, a day when the barbs were flying between herself and President Trump, and when many House Democrats expressed impatience or even dissatisfaction with her leadership to her face. “That simply isn’t the truth

Everyone seems to be certain that if the House votes for impeachment, it will pass. I have doubts about that. The old guard dem Congressmen know it would likely be political suicide for the dems. They face an almost certain failure to convict in the Senate but more concerning is that, without significant new evidence that is highly unlikely to be found, the American People are not supporting impeachment. Retaliation would certainly come in 2020 and send the dems back into the desert, perhaps for a decade or more. Such a rejection might seriously fragment an already wobbly party. Also, if the fate of the Country REALLY mattered to the dems, it would give Trump 4 more years and a supportive Congress. If dems were really worried about the bad stuff Trump can do, they would likely ensure it by proceeding with impeachment. Of course the dems don't really care about the Country so this point will have little impact on their behavior. Nancy is trying to tough out this process but Trump is a master at uncovering, exposing, and exploiting weaknesses in his opponents. Nancy tried to get ahead of the curve on their little meeting the other day. But Trump overran her by confronting her at the meeting and continuing pressure after. It is clear she is faking it up as she goes along and not very well either. She is not used to dealing with Republicans who fight back hard. The media will try to give her cover but their ability to convince is seriously weakened. The very large shoe about to fall is the reports on what happened with the Russian collusion hoax. If the top level people in BO's administration are indicted and the insinuation is that BO was involved, this will undermine significantly any remaining credibility in talking about impeachment for both the House and for the media who continue to beat the drums about getting rid of Trump.

The Dems are desperate. As nutty as Pelosi is, she’s moreso now. Same applies to Nadler and Schiff, with Trump being highly successful and the coup being more exposed daily. The shite storm is a coming! I’d be awfully nervous too if I was them.

The pollsters are spinning up a land slide victory in 2020 for the Rat Party. Yet, amazingly, look how wrong they have been for the last 12 years! Look how wrong they were in 2016. Polls are weapons in this war. Pelosi is a warped and under prepared general. The media artillery are damaged almost beyond recognition. The fifth column of RINOs and "Never Trumpers" are disgusting fifth columnists. Empty, mindless little self centered snobs with no depth, no sense of history, no dedication to anything. And every day that passes brings us one step closer to the end of President Trump's Presidency. I do not worry about 2020- Trump is solid for that. it is the 2024 wasteland aftermath that worries me. Like the weakling Bush who stepped into Reagan's gigantic footprint. With these filthy Democrats doing damage they think is aimed at Trump, they destroy everything around him. What this nation will be in 2024 is going to make everyone disgustingly sick. Looking back on ruined once great civilizations and we ask-"What happened? How did they go from Great to nothing but broken stones?" We are now finding out first hand.

Yep. The democrats are just one big happy-happy family. Couldn’t be happier. Smooth as silk, solid as a rock. Not a ripple in sight. It’s a great time to be a democrat. Best time ever, right Nancy? Right?

Vermont Sen. When President Bill Clinton, over 20 years ago, was probed by a special investigator, and 11 possible grounds for impeachment were found, including perjury, witness tampering and obstruction of justice, Democrats didn’t defend their party’s President the way Republicans defend Trump today. No, Democrats were far more extreme. What makes the rhetorical record so glaringly hypocritical is that in Donald Trump’s case, unlike Clinton’s, the investigator found no evidence of presidential crimes.

Is the U.S. government under the control of a shadowy group of insiders, unseen by the public and unaccountable to voters? A newly published report suggests the answer is “yes.” But lay aside the elaborate conspiracy theories about Russian infiltration. This insidious threat is far more mundane, stemming from bureaucrats who have hijacked the regulatory process to evade accountability for their actions. It’s time for Congress and President Trump to push back against federal agency rule-makers who are overstepping their authority.

‘These are prosperous times in America.” If that sounds like pro-Trump propaganda, that’s because it’s rarely uttered by anyone who isn’t already a supporter of the current president. But that’s how National Public Radio, to its credit, began a story about the incredible jobs boom underway right now in a segment called “America Is In Full Employment, So Why Aren’t We Celebrating?” “Why doesn’t today’s full employment come with effervescence?” reporters Pallavi Gogoi and Scott Horsley ask.

Human beings will die without oxygen. Yet breathing pure oxygen will kill you as certainly as taking strychnine or cyanide. Someone should remind Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Congressman Justin Amash of this – and maybe his voters. In a series of tweets on Saturday, Amash declared that “Contrary to Barr’s portrayal, Mueller’s report reveals that President Trump engaged in specific actions and a pattern of behavior that meet the threshold for impeachment.”

The threat to the free world if we get seduced into fully equipping our infrastructures with cheap Chinese advanced communications technology is of the gravest nature. “Victorious warriors win first and then go to war,” Chinese general and military strategist Sun Tzu declared in The Art of War, some 500 years before Christ. Using 21st-century terminology last week in London, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo described much the same thing, warning that Beijing is seeking “to divide Western alliances through bits and bytes, not bullets and bombs.”

On Thursday, Nancy Pelosi slammed President Trump for proposing immigration reforms that would shift the country toward a more merit-based system. “I want to just say something about the word that they use, ‘merit.’ It is really a condescending word,” she said at her press briefing. “Are they saying most of the people that come to the United States in the history of our country are without merit because they don’t have an engineering degree,” she scoffed, dismissing the president’s idea as “non-merit — it means merit in the eyes of Donald Trump.”

The Unirule Institute of Economics in Beijing, called “China’s most prominent free-market think tank” by Bloomberg News, is a target of harassment from the Chinese government. Its economists are considered dissidents by President Xi Jinping’s regime. The story reminds us of the treatment the Obama WhiteHouse gave to Tea Party groups that dared challenge the administration. In today’s China, after a period of liberalization, free-market economists are considered a threat to the ruling authority. Unirule’s offices have been invaded by government officials, who told the group it was

Now that the smoke from the always-dubious Trump-Russia investigation has cleared, the real scandal is finally coming into focus. Namely, the one where the Obama administration, the Hillary Clinton campaign, and various top law enforcement officials apparently worked together to spy on the campaign of their political opponent. A scandal with far more credible evidence to back it up than the phony Russia collusion story. On Monday, news broke that Attorney General William Barr had appointed John Durham, the top federal prosecutor in Connecticut, to investigate the FBI’s use of the Clinton-campaign-financed “dossier”

That year, in fact, Victor Keegan wrote a column in the Guardian newspaper with this headline “Will MySpace ever lose its monopoly?” In it, he says that “as the MySpace generation goes into employment, (it) could eventually extend (Rupert) Murdoch’s influence in ways that would make his grip on satellite television seem parochial.” Around the same time, John Barrett, writing in Tech News World, declared that “MySpace Is a Natural Monopoly. “

Classic films now face the wrath of perpetually enraged social justice warriors. Last weekend’s "Watters World" on Fox News Channel analyzed the impact of this politically correct phenomenon. Exhibit A was Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles,” the single funniest motion picture ever committed to celluloid. Jesse Watters’ guest, Cathy Areu, publisher of Catalina Magazine, responded to a clip of the comedy-Western in which Brooks himself portrays a Yiddish speaking American Indian chief. After securing safe passage for a family of black pioneers rolling West in their stagecoach, the feather-headdress-clad Indian bids them, “auf wiedersehen.”

The former Massachusetts governor did not dispute Trump’s high approval ratings with self-identified Republicans, nor claim a silent groundswell for his long shot campaign. But Weld predicted Trump would grow vulnerable to a primary challenge in the months ahead, insisting his campaign was a key element in softening the political support the president enjoys inside the GOP.
