WASHINGTON—House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D., Calif.) said the Justice Department had agreed to turn over 12 categories of counterintelligence and foreign intelligence materials connected to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation. Mr. Schiff said Wednesday that the Justice Department had agreed to turn over the documents on a rolling basis, to be completed by the end of next week. He also postponed a committee meeting, but said the panel remained ready to enforce its subpoena for the full report and underlying documents. Mr. Schiff had set Wednesday as a deadline for the Justice Department to cooperate.

I lost it on the first sentence, seeing "intelligence" in the same sentence as "Adam Schiff." Maybe I'll open the article a bit later after I calm down. Concerning Mueller's baseless work, these democrats are likened to donkeys but they are actually one-trick ponies.

Impeach the SOB. When congress goes to Dems they impeach the president. And when it goes Republican THEY impeach the president. If a Dem OR Republican congress impeaches their OWN president, I might look up. Otherwise, it seems they just don't have anything better to do (except raise campaign contributions) so we are paying these guys to investigate each other. Send me a subpoena for contempt of congress.

I see a lot of this push by the Dems to direct attention away from the growing scandal of the whole spying from the previous administration. Barr is no dummy and I doubt he'd risk his credibility by stating something that wasn't accurate. And, with Mueller looking to be hesitant to testify, I don't think he is too eager to commit perjury, or want to admit he knew there was no collusion within the first week of taking the position, but kept digging anyhow.

The Dems will not be satisfied. They will not get anything close to what they are demanding and they already know that, but hey...it's all about the optics, isn't it? It's pretty amusing to see Adam Schiff and Gerry Nadler elbowing each other out of media spotlights with increasing hysterics.

Maybe the Senate Committees need to subpeona Herr Mueller. The ruse the Dems are running is to get their "documents," leak them, and make more of this molehill. Maybe Herr Mueller should go over to the Senate. Sure, the Dem folks over there will play their games -- but most of them are off campaigning for President anyway. And Herr Mueller will have to answer serious questions from at least a couple GOP Senators about HOW he and his Swamp Gestapo ran the witch hunt that failed to even look for the witch.

As they say, "Careful what you wish for." The democrats may just get exactly what they are screaming for and the plot to overthrow President Trump will be laid bare for all to see. If they were smart , and clearly they are not, once they took the house they would have let this corpse lie but nooooo they want to dig it up yet again. Well now comes the autopsy and the crimes will be outed and we will find the real criminals are not in the current administration at all but in the prior one which abused every conceivable power. It did what Nixon only dreamed of. Well we hope you get it all out there because it is going to be ugly and it is going to have a blowback that should blow away what is left of a dying party who has allowed the 2yr olds to run the show. Good luck to you, don't say you weren't warned.

What happened to the arguments made in the conservative media and repeated unquestioningly on this site for over a month now that the administration was legally prohibited from releasing the full Mueller report and underlying documents because they contained grand jury material? Did the contemptible Schiff just out-deal this administration? How is that even possible? If the seemingly reasonable (to me anyway) assertions of legal prohibitions regarding release of the Report and its underlying documents were false, what other tidbits of wishful thinking passing as common knowledge among we Normals are also false?

The progressives in her party are lining up to demand an impeachment spectacle. They hail from uber-liberal districts, their constituents want Trump’s scalp, and they fear inaction will earn them a primary challenge. Even Mrs. Pelosi’s wingmen—those who’ve had her fake-impeachment back—are starting to break. The Washington Post reports that Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler is arguing for a formal impeachment inquiry, as are “five members of Pelosi’s leadership team.”

There are now 23 candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination with New York’s mayor jumping in. The unveiling of the spies and tactics behind the fake collusion tale continues apace. It looks as though Mueller will testify before Congress on the 12th of Never and the impeachment train will never leave the station. Inspector General Horowitz’s reports on Comey and another on charges of illegal conduct in the DoJ and FBI are due soon, though, as usual, seem to be a long time aborning. General Flynn’s sentencing hearing should come soon.

Better late than never: Attorney General William Barr has tasked U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation. If the Justice Department had done this two years ago, the country would be in a much better place. Mr. Barr has made clear that he intends to restore his department’s credibility. The Durham appointment is a perfect example of that effort. This is how Justice ought to operate, from the nature of the probe to the choice of prosecutor. It’s a striking contrast to the hash that became of the Mueller investigation. Mr. Barr gets credit for

Steve Blass spent his boyhood afternoons in Connecticut flinging a rubber ball against the side of a half-barn, fantasizing that he was pitching in the majors. Come evening, the 10-year-old would get his radio and tune into a game, delighted when Mel Allen’s voice crackled from the transistor. “When I thought ‘baseball,’ I thought about Mel Allen,” said Blass, now a Pittsburgh Pirates announcer. “When I thought ‘Mel Allen,’ I thought about baseball.” More than in any other sport, baseball broadcasters become an inseparable part of the game they describe.

When asked to clarify his claim that it was “unknowable” when life began,

President Donald Trump's order to declassify documents explaining the origins of the Trump-Russia investigation is "all nonsense," Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House intelligence committee, told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Thursday night. Nadler said there's no "basis" to examine the origins of the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation. He called it an "imaginary scandal." (Video) Maddow asked Nadler for his reaction to the breaking news that Trump has issued an executive order directing the intelligence community to "quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General's investigation

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that the world will “end in 12 years” unless climate change is tackled was accepted as a fact by two-thirds of Democrats, even though she said herself that only those with the “social intelligence of a sea sponge” could actually believe it. (Snip) But it appears that more than two-thirds of surveyed Democrats took her literally. A Rasmussen poll, conducted earlier this week, found 67 percent of Democrats believing that the U.S. has only 12 years to avert the “disastrous and irreparable damage to the country and the world” stemming from climate change. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) on Tuesday castigated supporters of President Donald Trump by claiming America's problem with ignorance is "pervasive." Omar appeared on the Nation’s "Next Left" podcast with host John Nichols to discuss various issues, including the intelligence of Trump supporters. "So suddenly you’re elected, and you had this teaching moment. It strikes me that, in watching you, you are conscious of teaching moments and of that opportunity to say something that might cause people to think differently about what’s going on," Nichols said. Omar said U.S. voters "have a misconception" about refugees and the process they face getting into the United States.

Classic films now face the wrath of perpetually enraged social justice warriors. Last weekend’s "Watters World" on Fox News Channel analyzed the impact of this politically correct phenomenon. Exhibit A was Mel Brooks’ “Blazing Saddles,” the single funniest motion picture ever committed to celluloid. Jesse Watters’ guest, Cathy Areu, publisher of Catalina Magazine, responded to a clip of the comedy-Western in which Brooks himself portrays a Yiddish speaking American Indian chief. After securing safe passage for a family of black pioneers rolling West in their stagecoach, the feather-headdress-clad Indian bids them, “auf wiedersehen.”

Nobody likes a loser who can’t accept defeat. Hillary Clinton apparently can’t understand that American voters just didn’t like her. She’s still reenacting the 2016 presidential campaign in her mind and finding new ways to blame us all for her loss. Now, the failed Democratic nominee brought her blame game to new levels by complaining about being told she shouldn’t complain. She claims people are telling her to shut down her blame game tour because she is a woman and that nobody wants a male loser to shut his pie hole.

Barack Obama is literally more popular than Jesus among Democrats. Unfortunately, neither the former president nor any of the party’s 23 candidates currently seeking the 2020 nomination know quite what to do with that information. Of course, before any serious endorsement conversation can commence, Obama has to finish his book (between rounds of golf and raising millions for his foundation). The writing has been going more slowly than he’d expected, and according to several people who have spoken with him, the 44th president is feeling competitive with his wife, whose own book, Becoming, was the biggest release of 2018 and is on track to be the best-selling memoir in history.

Heads are exploding all over the beltway, as the unraveling of the biggest political scandal in American history enters a new stage. Make no mistake, there is a plan and a timetable designed for maximum dramatic impact. President Trump finally has taken the long-awaited step to lift the cloak of classification and uncover the weaponization of the federal government’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies against his candidacy and then presidency. (snip) Barr almost certainly has seen or will see the IG Report before it is released. He can declassify information that the IG Report needs to reveal, even before the report is released.
