Trump as Folk Hero

Original Article

How has Trump maintained his base through all the adversity of the last three years? Surprisingly, the explanation is simple. His critics haven’t talked to the people, but instead, have talked to each other. These experts still don’t know how America got here, but the people do. When the vast unwashed masses voted for Trump, there were several reasons, and the most important was Hillary Clinton. To defeat her would require someone who could break the logjam of Midwest industrial states. It was obvious that Clinton could not appeal to them, because she lacked sincerity.

With the great, defiant "Yes!!!" from President Trump's every speech and action, the Blue Meanies of this world are scattering in helpless confusion. All You Need Is Love (of country).

Trump won in 2016 because he effectively neutered the msm. He won because he really didn't care what the msm thought of him and sought to defeat them. He won because he represented hope in defeating the deep state. He won because he truly believes in America. MAGA.

Too many certainties stated that aren't certainties. Our number one goal was to send the Obamas packing and rid the government of all the people, laws, rules, conflicts, racism, embarrassments and expensive boondoggles that he perpetrated. Hillary just happened to "win" the dem primary but her evil was yet to be unleashed. Bernie was a joke and still is. Romney actually looked like a viable candidate in the 2012 election and could have won until he threw it away. Trump was the only candidate that called a spade a spade and he had actual ideas instead of socialist dreams.

I am afraid the only thing that can defeat President Trump is election fraud. I cannot understand why we should not have to present proof of citizenship to vote in a Presidential election.

After the election I began thinking of President Trump as a folk hero in the style of a Paul Bunyan. Too big for words! Thank God (and some friends here at I was able to see past my initial deep skepticism of his sincere conservatism, and figured out that whatever foibles he came with, Donald J. Trump was our only antidote to the vicious left and the MSM that props them up. May God protect our President, and may He bless the United States of America. Ramona (the Pest)

Simple and true and something Trump's critic cannot dare face. The problem is THEM. Trump is with US and respects US. Trump's critics are NOT. Now, Trump has been successful for the Country and successful for US, with Conservative judges, a tax cut, less regulation, and attempted progress on Health care and immigration. He has acted presidentially in the face of extreme provocation by the illegal activities of the Deep State and associates. He has been deeply examined, tested, and emerged unscathed. Many that had doubts no longer do. Many that originally voted against him are amazed and pleased with his presidency. He is stronger than ever and his opponents are a collapsing joke.

FTA: “The MSM would pen a 700-word article belittling Trump, and he would tweet 20 words that had more wisdom, more punch, and more credibility than that article. The defiant “You and whose army!” seemed to be the response to each challenge.” This is a wonderful piece of wordsmithing. I enjoyed every paragraph. It may sound familiar because Mr. Wysong has eloquently expressed the observations and conclusions about The Donald discussed by just about every one of his supporters, both here and in the conservative media over the last, now, almost four years. (Wow! Time sure flies in the Time of Trump; much faster than during the Obamanation.) The public record shows his interest in the affairs of our country and his consistent remarks regarding the lack of common sense in our political class. It is easy to see the trajectory of his life experiences leading him to ever greater accomplishments. I believe God had DJT warming up on the “on-deck circle”, and because of the prayers from millions of faithful patriots, He gave The Donald the signal to “Swing Away!” AMDG then MAGA

All true. I had heard of Trump, but not much liking or not often visiting NYC, and never having seen his TV show, or even heard more than a mention of it (I am not sure I even knew that Trump was associated with the show), when he first burst on the screen, I sort of laughed and paid little attention. Then he brashly said some things that the left found outrageous, and I found great. I remember saying to my wife<"This Trump guy is saying some great things. I wonder if he is really serious." That was the very first time I had any real idea who he really was. And it only got better from there. I voted for Cruz in the KS primary, but when Cruz was not making the cut, it was easy and comfortable to go over to Trump. And what a wonderful ride it has been. Now to hunt down the FBI, CIA and DoJ coup plotters and put them in jail. And to win in 2020. MAGA!

TRUMP like all presidents has to win re-election to really move the agenda forward. It simply take more than four years to move the government huge bureaucracy and the court system. Nothing is certain in politics except the results after the fact. Hopefully will be able to say it was a certainty that TRUMP won the election.

Long before Donald Trump became President of the United States, the Opinion section of The New York Times was already a hotbed of America-loathing (if not outright hating) leftist ideology. They just used to try and hide it a little back then. One of Trump's greatest achievements as president thus far has been to unmask the brand of coastal elite liberalism that wants to cherry pick the parts of the American experience that fulfill their needs all the while decrying whatever they deem the stuff that is only enjoyed by anachronistic yahoos.

The Left's hysteria over Trump's victory in 2016 has escalated into something quite beyond mere hysteria. Now the leftists are well and truly dangerous. Antifa, the fascist organization that protests anything and everything with which it disagrees, is violent, very violent. These people show up with weapons, wearing masks, and attack anyone they perceive to be in opposition to their own warped ideology. CNN has long defended the group as good guys, social justice warriors. That is how off the rails CNN is. Like Antifa, CNN is officially and openly anti-American. It has been quite a week for the Democrat Party. Actually, it has been quite a decade. It began when, just seven years after Islamic extremists executed the worst attack on U.S. soil killing almost 3,000 Americans, destroying the World Trade Center, and bringing America briefly to its knees, the country elected Barack Hussein Obama as President. Obama had no executive experience but he was a community organizer and he managed to pull the wool over the eyes of the majority of the electorate – twice. That this man, who promised to transform the country – as if the greatest civilization in the history of mankind needed transformation

It comes as no surprise that Trump is constantly assaulted by the media, the Democrats, desultory members of his own party, the churches, the “Deep State,” late-night comics, the entertainment industry and by those euphemistically known as the “coastal elites.” After all, he is a member of that rare breed of political personage who put the nation before themselves; in other words, he is a principled president, which is anathema to the host of ideologues and sycophants who constitute the political class and the cultural establishment.

SANTA CLARA, CUBA—Is Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara too moderate for a 2020 run as a Democrat? That's the question the left is asking after Guevara was resurrected by a leftist political action committee, Marxists for Equality, Socialism, and Stalinism. MESS activists arrived in Santa Clara earlier this week and summoned Guevara's spirit back from the dead using dark, demonic rituals, which are well-known to many Democrats. MESS then hastily photoshopped a birth certificate for Zombie Guevara so he would be eligible to run for president of the United States.

Kamala Harris, calling on the nation to “deal with the racial wealth gap,” on Saturday proposed a $100 billion federal program to help black people buy homes. The California senator said the plan, which would provide down payment and closing cost assistance of up to $25,000 to people renting or living in historically red-lined communities, would help some 4 million home-buyers. The plan’s release comes as Harris surges in Democratic presidential primary polls following a debate last week in which she chastised former Vice President Joe Biden for his past opposition to busing and former associations with segregationist senators. Toilet paper – the one product that the majority of us use just once and flush away – is becoming less sustainable, according to research. Analysis from Ethical Consumer magazine found that major brands were using less recycled paper than in 2011, while only five of the nine major supermarkets (the Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose) offered an own-brand recycled toilet paper. The large-scale use of virgin paper contributes to unnecessary deforestation. The UK uses 1.3m tonnes of tissue a year, according to the Confederation of Paper Industries, with the average British consumer reportedly getting through 127 rolls every

In the viral moment of the first Democratic presidential debates, Sen. Kamala Harris attacked former vice president Joe Biden over his opposition to forced busing to integrate public schools. The Harris campaign is now waffling on the issue. Over time, we may look back on that as a moment revealing Harris’s underlying weakness as a candidate. Immediately after the debate, while clips rolled of Harris touting how she personally benefited from busing, Harris surged in the polls and Biden sagged a bit. It is less clear that Harris successfully cracked Biden’s appeal with black voters, which is likely key to the success of both candidates. In live dial-tests during the debate,
