On Sunday, April 28, 2019, CBS News program, 60 Minutes reported on The Situation At The Southern Border. Here is how the 60 Minutes’ report began: Earlier this month, President Trump placed Kevin McAleenan in charge of the Department of Homeland Security. The president fired his previous DHS chief, Kirstjen Nielsen, because he said he wanted to go in a tougher direction. As the new acting secretary, McAleenan is facing the largest wave of illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border in a decade. 100,000 migrants were detained just last month. So we went to McAllen, Texas,

Comments:

If those criminal alien invaders were voting for the Republicans instead of the Democrats, our southern border would resemble the Great Wall of China!!

Stop waiting for Congress to act. They´re not going to.

President Trump needs to declare a National Emergency, close the borders and suspend all immigration, legal and illegal. Line up military transport planes at the local airports, fill them up and take them back.

Sign an Executive Order sending anyone crossing the border back to their countries immediately. Sign an Executive Order ending Birth Right Citizenship.

Every day he does not act allows thousands and thousands more illegals to enter and disappear into our country.

I´m tired of all the talk and getting very frustrated with the President. Any sane person knows Congress will not act.

It´s up to President Trump to ACT! WTP will back him up.

This is an IQ test:

If initially jihad was outside our borders and then it was at our borders, where is it going to be next?

FTA - "100,000 migrants were detained just last month."

You´ve got to be kidding me. Later in his piece, Cutler reports that children are being "recycled" meaning they are sent back into Mexico to pose as someone else´s children which allows entry for those "parents".

I don´t know who is orchestrating this, but, the whole affair is very Alinsky-esque. Overwhelm the system to achieve social justice. The ends justifies the means.

The msm continue to shield the crisis from us and spins it as a humanitarian crisis. Meanwhile, jihadists infested with tropical measles, TB, and aids walk over the border freely.

Might I suggest that all Americans march on Washington and demand a border blockade and hold the pubbies and dims hostage until they act in a manner that meets OUR interests.

How easy is it for Iran and other Arab countries to sneak Jihadis into the US, overseas? Looks like it´s time for the Coast Guard and Navy to go into action and start sinking some smuggler ships, Air Force if they fly.

According to research by Glenn Beck and his staff, there is an organization in Chicago that provides the funding for this mass migration. Includes $$ from Soros. He´s written a book about it. Why can´t our government stop it?

I appreciate #1´s intentions, but if President Trump handled the immigration crisis solely by Executive Order it would only be operative during his administration. The Deep State would ignore his policies as soon as he left office. It would not be a long-term or permanent solution. If we are to solve this crisis in any meaningful way, Congress must pass the appropriate laws. Therefore we need MAGA representatives that support our President and the long-term survival of our country.

The leftist and liberal Democrats obviously figure that the vast majority of those poor, uneducated, and socialist minded economic migrants (illegal aliens) who are now taking advantage of the naive and loophole ridden Democrat created asylum and immigration laws, once legalized and eventually granted US voting rights will in vast numbers become natural Democrat socialist voters. As you can bet your boots that if those Democrats ever thought that more then a small number of those so-called migrants would support the Republicans, that the borderline would have been closed tighter than a drum years ago.

The Congress could stop the out of control borderline situation by immediately repealing the current asylum laws that allow just about the entire world to show up at a US border, make bogus asylum claims, and then gain a right to enter the USA until at least a final court decision is made of their individual cases, sometimes five to eight years later with up to over 90% of those cases being denied, and after which they have given birth to as many US born children as possible to be used as equities against ever being deported.

It is common sense that asylum offices should be set up at US Consulates in foreign countries where asylum claims could be filed and adjudicated, with successful asylum applicants then being granted visas to travel to the USA; and that all unaccompanied minor foreign children located unlawfully crossing the US borderline should be immediately turned over to the consular representatives of their country of citizenship for immediate repatriation back to their home countries and relatives there.

Given how the Native Indian population of Mexico are descendants of the Incas, Aztecs and other warlike people, beheading doesn´t surprise me at all.

Their ancestors used to do far worse to those prisoners as sacrifice to their war gods. Muslims aren´t the only ones stuck in a previous, uncivilized century. Third World is gonna Third World no matter where they are located.

Is there anything we can do as citizens to get the attention of our government? What has been done in the past?

If we don´t act, nothing will be done. Something bad at some point is going to happen on a broad scale and then Trump will be blamed for not stopping it. Since many people cannot travel to DC to stage a big protest, how about one being set up at the local level across our nation? Everyone needs to turn out! Don´t sit on the sidelines this time!

We are living through the destruction of our country by criminals who discovered using demographics as their main weapon. The U.S. is meant to be run by the people and for the people through elected representatives and a majority of citizens are concerned if not alarmed and want effective border control with illegals forced to leave the country through inability to find make a living. These citizens, who have been crying in the Wilderness for decades, are still being ignored by their supposed servants in the government. Perhaps the founding ideas of the U.S. can’t work in the face of corrupt, lawless pampered elites who have secured their own futures and care nothing for others. The people must wrest control away from them which will become a vicious fight and will not be easy for God-Fearing peaceful people like Conservatives. I fear that our essential tolerance and peacefulness will be our undoing.

Few things offend Bernie Sanders as much as people escaping from command-and-control government systems, even minority students whose parents are desperate to get their kids a decent education. The socialist wants to turn George Wallace on his head and not block black children from attending traditional public schools but block them from exiting them for something better. The New York Times the other day wrote a long, devastating report on the then-Burlington, Vt., mayor’s love affair with the Sandinistas in the 1980s. So many decades later, his reflex is the same: If the Sandinistas wouldn’t favor it, he’s not inclined to like it much, either.

A brazen thief stole chemotherapy medication from an Oklahoma City man’s doorstep just minutes after it was delivered, delaying his treatment for brain cancer. James Mills, 43, said his planned round of chemotherapy on Monday would not happen after a hooded suspect swiped the potentially life-saving delivery from his porch on Saturday. “I checked the door and didn’t see the package,” Mills told KFOR. “I double checked and they said it had been delivered. I check the security cameras, and I saw the UPS driver deliver it, then about eight minutes later another individual comes up, grabs it and takes off.”

Spurned Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland — whose chance at a spot on the high court was derailed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell — may have a key say on whether President Trump’s financial records are released to the House. Trump’s lawyers on Tuesday appealed a lower court’s decision ordering that the records be released to the House Oversight Committee to the Washington, DC, Circuit Court of Appeals — which Garland heads as chief judge. President Barack Obama nominated Garland to replace Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016 after Scalia’s death. But McConnell refused to even schedule a meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee to consider Garland’s nomination,

Assembly Bill 186, which passed the Senate on a 12-8 vote, would bring Nevada into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement between participating states to cast their electoral votes for the winner of the popular vote. If signed as expected by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, Nevada would become the 16th jurisdiction to join the compact, along with 14 states and the District of Columbia.

Jerry Nadler was at it again Tuesday, waxing indignant about former White House counsel Don McGahn’s refusal to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
