One night in early April, roughly 20 of the Democratic Party’s highest-profile donors from the financial industry sat down over dinner to discuss how exactly they were feeling about the 2020 presidential race. For the most part, it wasn’t great. Convened by two veterans of liberal fund-raising — investors Steven Rattner and Blair Effron — the group had no hard-and-fast agenda except to share notes on the overflowing field of candidates. The crowd of Democratic heavyweights, including Clinton-administration Treasury secretary and Goldman Sachs and Citi alum Robert Rubin, former ambassador to France Jane Hartley, and venture capitalist

What would they get from a Democrat in the White House that they don´t have now from Trump? I guess the illusion of influence.

The establishment Democrats will nominate Biden. They know he will sign their legislation, and do not care how old he is, as long as he can move his fingers. The rest of this is just noise to make the little guys think they have a say.

So they are thinking "PETE" is the guy, eh? Wait until they get a look at the mess he made in South Bend.

So the candidates that complain about BIG money and BIG donations in politics won´t take their money anyway, and hey, I thought the Repubs were the party of the RICH. Hey Wall Street, donate to TRUMP. Jeez, obvious you morons.

They are upset and confused because it isn´t clear who can be bought and stay bought. Inside traders don´t care if the market sets records or that the economy is vigorous, they want a bagman/woman for their DC graft. If they have to actually have a functioning energy company, instead of a phony shell like Sylendra, they are sunk.

That´s odd, Conservatives are doubling over with laughter. Maybe democrats should attempt to find a sense of humor somewhere underneath those scowls. Five trillion dollars to fight the weather, the world ending in twelve years due to deadly cow farts. And don´t forget the ever popular free medical care for all, fair share taxes on the rich and forgiveness for college loans that bought exactly nothing.

It is amazing how wealthy and supposedly smart people are so dumb. I get it that their elite buddies are all Leftists and they don´t want to be kicked out of their social circle for supporting Trump. But when one of them asks “What matters more?” ... “My social values or my paycheck?” he comes off as a moron.
Trump is all about individual freedom. If this guy´s "social values" drive him to Save the Whales, he can write a check to do so anytime he wants. Trump only tells him that the government is not there to prop up his social conscience. A smart person, seeing the small stature of the dem candidates might consider sitting out the election but putting his money where his Social Conscience is. Hillary and her PACs spent $1.2 billion in 2016. If even half of that went to causes instead of candidates, it would do a lot of conscience raising. Plus our worried investor wouldn´t have supported Trump directly so he wouldn´t have risked his social position. But when Trump wins, it would boost his paycheck. It´s a win-win and it´s a surprise these smart people can´t figure it out themselves.

The left knows they are way behind in this political game of baseball.
The clown car of leftist candidates are floundering badly.
Think of that song..."Put me in coach, I´m ready to play".
I am talking of course of Mooch Obama, warming up in the bullpen. Mooch is practicing her best Leslie Jones imitation, (of SNL Fame). Leslie is polishing her Mooch impression, hoping to be more famous than Tina Fey pretending to be Sarah Palin.
The irony is that Crazy Uncle Joe, Hillary and Bernie will have been passed over by another Obama...again.

#14 is on to something.
There´s not one electable Democrat. The sure to be boring debates will prove it.
With Michele O, the DNC gets its only chance to put the two most popular Democrats back in the White House.
That´s why BHO didn´t endorse perennial loser, Joe Biden.
