Those tattoos look like MS-13 to me. Corcoran is where they put the worst of the worst. But now he goes to another facility for mental health consultation?

This is not a mental health issue, but what MS-13 is known for:
In an interview with Bill Ritter in late 2017, Nassau County, New York District Attorney Madeline Singas, referring to crimes committed by MS-13 gang members, stated: "The crimes that we´re talking about are brutal. Their weapon of choice is a machete. We end up seeing people with injuries that I´ve never seen before. You know, limbs hacked off. And that´s what the bodies look like that we´re recovering. So they´re brutal. They´re ruthless, and we´re gonna be relentless in our attacks against them."[24] The choice of a machete is in contrast to other gangs, which prefer to use guns.

In prisons, where a lethal weapon can be a pencil or a sharpened plastic toothbrush handle, it shouldn’t be hard for someone to come up with a tool when a machete is not available.

LE once referred to this stuff as a self-cleaning oven.
[Phil]Esbenshade added that it is not known if anyone heard the attack during the nighttime.
Please. Not only did they hear it, they knew it was coming.

Someone like this is too dangerous to even exist. But CA is too politically correct to bring back the gas chamber.

So - - you all think he´s guilty?
What if he was asleep - - and someone else broke into the cell and killed the other guy?
Have you considered that - - before jumping to a conclusion?

How on earth this happened without any alarm being raised should warrant a serious investigation. Don´t they have CCTV and other ways to surveil the prisoners? This smells, and I have to wonder about the back story here of the victim.

Prisons are daycares for those who can’t or won’t follow the rules of normal society. Many are mental ill, others lacking guilt/empathy, and others are barely intelligent enough to comprehend simple instructions.
The worst of the worst are generally not evil geniuses. Some brains are simply miswired and lack the ability to control impulsive behavior. We have very little ability to treat or correct these people. As a society, we must contain and separate them from everyone else. Anyone that tell you differently probably has a “coexist” bumper sticker on their Prius.

Another of Obama´s and Nancy´s beloved dreamers. Give him couseling, Pell Grants, free lifetime medical prison care, and register to vote for the country he loves so much. Remember he is just "accused" and that doesn´t mean he really did it. His defense team will hire a sqadron of forensic psychlogists to determine the boy was raised by his grandmother in poor conditions and that his mom and dad never gave him birthday or Christmas presents and that he never had a dog or got to go to the prom.
