The Democrats control the House, and while those in the party’s “old guard” like Pelosi and Schumer counsel caution, the new leadership (Ocasio-Cortez, Omar, and Tlaib, et al.) are avid proponents of impeaching “the motherf*@ker.” The media will love it, and so will the base. Frankly, it’s difficult to envision another move by the Democrats that would be more popular with the media, academia, celebrities, and the rabid Democrat base.

Impeach for what reason? I´ve yet to hear a reason for impeachment or proof of any reason to impeach. Just because Trump isn´t likeable isn´t a cause for impeachment. If it were, Obozo wouldn´t have lasted a week in office.

#3 It issn´t because they don´t like him, it´s because "they" lost the election.

I take exception to one claim concerning Trump. That being "he´s a good judge of character".
Look..... Trump sits at the top of my pantheon of favorite presidents, and I will vote for him in a heartbeat. However, he has a bad habit of surrounding himself with people with questionable motives, character, background and or judgement. The Trump administration HR department must have a revolving door at its front entrance.
Outside of that, I couldnt be more thrilled that he´s in the Oval Office. That he causes liberal heads to explode daily is a bonus.
Oh yeah...... I was a never Trumper until he won the nomination. Im happy to say that I was wrong about Trump.

A couple of simple truths:
1) Impeachment is a political process. The House does not require "proof" of any high crime or misdemeanor that is written in any statute book.
2) As the article states,"Mueller used his non-decision on obstruction in Volume II as a handoff to Democrats in the House. He made a political case for obstruction to give the Democrats (read, Uniparty) the framework they needed for impeachment, which will surely pass the House..."
Here is another issue that is best unsettled, used as a threat going into the 2020 election. No one wants a messy impeachment vote and trial. They want to use the threat as leverage to dissuade Trump from a re-election run. It also will hang over his head as doubtless the Uniparty will have developed "Articles of Impeachment" that COULD go to the floor for a vote at any time. They will beat PDT with the charges, likely abuse of power and obstruction.
3) The Uniparty (with DEM and GOPe divisions) is having its issues with the Dem "progs" and the MAGA Republican core. This is Pelosi´s, et al, last act, their grand finale, as the Dems are transformed by generational change. They are NOT looking for historical infamy, which will come with a failed impeachment. Easier to run PDT off with the help of people like McCarthy and McConnell, who will tell PDT he doesn´t have the votes...if impeachment is introduced...

Bad mistake, Reply #6, because President Trump will not cave to pressure. He will fight HARDER. If he is of a mind to run for re-election, no action against him will dissuade him. It will make him stronger. Watch the rallies ! He has had to deal with unsavory opponents his whoe adult life. If an impeachment process is initiatedand reaches the Senate, those in the gOP who vote YES risk their political lives.

When you don´t maintain party discipline, this is what you get. If Pelosi couldn´t do it herself, she should have had Steny or another trusted minion administer a serious slap down to these newbies. She knows that there is the real possibility she is going to lose her Speaker´s gavel next year.

The ,so called, Crimes that Trump committed were:
1. Being an outsider.

Poster #5, you have said word for word what I would have said.
BTW...all this talk of impeachment is simply a false flag to make President Trump ´illegitimate´ to nominate a Supreme Court justice when ginsburg finally drops dead. They will scream how can he choose a new judge if he´s facing impeachment?
