American high schools are churning out nearly 100,000 illegal immigrant “Dreamers” a year, according to a new study Wednesday that shows just how extensive the network of illegal immigrant families is in the U.S. The Migration Policy Institute’s research is the first in more than a decade to try to capture the size of the emergent Dreamer population, which is defined as illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as juveniles, lacking any immediate claims to legal status. MPI’s numbers show the population has grown, from about 65,000 a year in 2003 to 98,000 graduating each year now. Some 27,000

If they went here K-12 then we have already invested $120K in their education. Sending them somewhere else means we get no return on that investment.
Let them stay here, work and pay taxes.
But - they must work 20 years before applying for citizenship and they can never collect any government subsidy payments. Ever.

Sorry, #2, but the best option is to simply put them at the end of the current line who´ve applied for citizenship.
It´s about a 10+ year wait now, and as more are added, the wait will likely increase accordingly, but it´s a decent and fair option without having anyone "cut" in line.
Same should be with any asylum and refugee seekers, they need to wait in the same line instead of getting an earlier entry under the asylum statute (only 3-5 years).
We need immigrants to help grow the country and expand the economy, but don´t just focus on Mexico and Central America.
Open up to China, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, India, Ireland, Russia, Brazil, and many other countries.
Imagine, how would democrats say Republicans were against people of color?
Democrats want the illegal process because once they grant them status of some sort those people are grateful and feel obligation to vote Dem.

The next amnesty the leftards try to push through, amend it so the former ´illegal aliens´ can never vote, ever. Nor can their descendants.
Watch how fast the demoncrats lose interest in them.

Don’t we Texans know it too. Its amazing how even so many once small rural school districts are busting at the seams. They are going broke providing services to these children too. Our property taxes must keep rising to pay for it all. Children of legal citizens ONLY should be in our public schools.

There should be a campaign to shame these educated young adults to return to their countries - for their betterment. These "Dreamers" can head home, bi-lingual, educated and literate, able to take the lessons learned about human rights, democracy, and global engagement and challenge their own nations to improve. These Dreamers could be come teachers, public servants, whatever they prefer.
And the shame is that they fight to stay here, denying their own countries, which they claim to love, of their talents and skills from benefiting from what is the greatest foreign assistance program ever in human history. Poor kids, living in the shadows and afraid of deportation, and all that jazz.

Using a conservative estimate of $15,000 per year for public schools, these Wonderful Dreamers cost US taxpayers $1.5 billion annually. The true cost likely is much higher, as many illegal aliens arrive here with minimal academic attainment, thus requiring both remedial and bilingual education. Consider that illegal aliens typically pay no taxes (especially not property taxes, which is a key source of school funding in many states) and we have yet another massive drain on the resources of the dying middle class. Where are the Republicans on any of this?
