Words have actual, distinct meanings. Somehow accepting this wisdom that is thousands of years old is something of a struggle in this, the 21st century. (Snip)The real danger in regard to Democrats accusing Republicans like Rep. Dan Crenshaw and Donald Trump, and outlets like the New York Post, of incitement to violence is that the charge is one of very few that can be used to erase First Amendment free speech protections. It’s no accident that this is the word being used. But it is an absurd accusation.

If anyone is guilty of inciting violence in speech, its leftist democrats. Have they ever heard of Maxine Waters? This is just another trick where donkeys can bray the most vile, hate-filled and violent rhetoric you´ve ever heard. But anyone who criticizes them, must be a ´hater´ and needs to sit down and be silent.
Well, this is a new age. We´re not going to quietly go into the night and allow these commie hate merchants to walk all over us like they have the past 30 years. The donkeys and their media parrots have had their day. Now its OUR day. We are going to speak our minds. We are going to call your hate speech exactly for what it is. And we are going to be silent no more. We´re through cowering to people like you, Omar. So you better hang on to your hajib as you are going to get exactly what you deserve.

Obviously Omar abhors the attack... You´re the only one it´s obvious to. I´m going to guess she was happy when it happened.

The defense of the shyster of whatever background:
Translate any form of opposition, regardless of any argument and reason advanced, to a stated point of view and/or agenda as a motivated solely by perosnal hatred for the messenger rather than the rejection of validity of the message.

I may not suggest anyone punch out the obnoxious bully down the street. I may not even do it myself. But when someone else does it I will do a happy dance and maybe open a bottle.

There is a REASON that intelligent people think about what they say before they say it; the reaction to their words may be unpredictable. It could range from disagreement to rage. When Omar says things like this, it is either she is too stupid to understand the reaction she will invoke, too indifferent to care, or doing it deliberately to support a worldview and cause NOT shared by most Americans.
And NO, it is NOT "obvious" that Omar abhors the attack, nor that she appreciates the magnitude and gravity of it.
We find her words and attitude reprehensible. We are entitled to vehement reaction against her words and her. Some who lost loved ones might be incensed. Almost none would take violent action against her.
Yet, there are some that have poor control over their emotions and that can lead to tragic actions. Most of us would not desire that. We are not inciting that.
However, it is NOT acceptable to attempt to silence strong counter debate by claiming that someone "might" overreact. We could use that argument against the dems ever uttering another word.
If Omar is concerned about her safety, perhaps she should learn not to be so inflammatory and disrespectful. She has the right to speak as she wishes. She has NO right to be freed from the consequences from doing so.

Stop reacting and playing defense to these ad hoc prog accusations.
Just tell them to pound sand - no matter what their ethnicity, religion, or skin color. Do what MLK preached.

Omar, Smollett, Tlaib, Waters, Pelosi, Pete Butt, Beto, AOC, all of the people who would never have become prominent and successful in any country outside of the United States, spend most of their time bashing it. We may not be inciting violence now but for those of us who fought for this country in the sewers of the world and fly our flag proudly, we are getting darn tired of your bellyaching and one of these days there might be a danger of us snapping. Don´t push it.

There is no such thing as incitement. Words have no power until the listener chooses to react with emotional choices. No one forces anyone to feel a certain way or to take any action. "Incitement" is liberal code for fascist repression of speech.

From the article:
"Omar is a member of a vulnerable, marginalized minority, so attacks on her carry an extra threat of violence."
The little Mooslim girl deserves every comment made about her; she is not a member of a marginalized minority. She is a threat to our American values, and our way of life.

NO ONE ANYWHERE is inciting violence against Ilhan Omar!! She is inciting and inviting violence with her rhetoric. Since she freely admits she is not one of us she should do us and herself the proper and go back to those of whom she is part. She probably thinks where she came from is a shithole country and she likes it better here. Amazing that those from worse places always bring with them and try to enforce the very things that made their native countries the mess that it is.

She did it to herself! #15 is right. Anyone who is too stupid to realize that making a comment which A.) is extremely offensive to a large number of people outside one´s immediate audience, B.) is almost certainly going to be made public and C.) contributes to one´s reputation as an enemy of the U.S., deserves everything that happens as the result.
But something tells me that this harpy is not at all stupid. She´s smart enough to have known what would happen before she opened her trap and is milking it for all it´s worth! Martyrdom in any form burnishes the reputation of those on the left.
