How did this happen? When did it become OK for one of the two major political parties in America to attack a young black woman, who works for an orthodox Jew, as a fascistic fan of Adolf Hitler after she was invited to testify before Congress? When did it become OK for the representatives of the same party openly to label Israel, our closest friend in the Middle East, an “evil” state which has “hypnotized the West,” then libel their fellow representatives of having “dual loyalties” because they are Jewish, or to intimate that Israel simply shouldn’t exist? And when

FTA: Since then, incredibly, the Democrats have radicalized even more and the establishment GOP has continued its charade of pretending to represent conservative values and our founding principles.
The GOP elite RINOs need to understand that it is no longer acceptable to simply claim to be conservative. They must speak out and denounce the enemy in no uncertain terms. Pres. Trump is showing them the way to victory, but many are too squeamish or stupid to go through with it.

Candace Owens is a national treasure doing the work that the Republicans in Congress do not have the balls to do.

Candace is right, the politicians and the establishment operatives are pathetic. Many of them cannot even read the speeches prepared by their staffers and when they speak extemporaneously they are barely intelligible.

Trump would do well to put Pence in charge of something important, where a very nice white guy who has NO chance of following 2 yrs of Trump into the WH can still be a positive influence on the sausage making. Then pick Owens as running mate. Getting her out in front as 2020 Veep puts the very real possibility of a Black female presidential candidate, with much conservative support, and AA support as well. Trump has Black Americans at least Thinking about Dems not having served them very well. Maybe we don´t like the pandering overtones of it, but that´s such a large part of public perception anymore. It´s how the game is played.

Maybe Candace was told by her mother to Speak now or forever hold your peace. It is time for all of US to stand up and be counted. No one in Congress will take care of US.

I don´t think Candace will be old enough for veep in 2020. I do think she has much more influence where she is right now, doing what she does best.
I love me some Sebastian Gorka.
FTA
We are a nation divided. But we are not divided in the way the fake news media and the talking heads would have you believe.
The division is between an establishment that doesn’t care about life outside of the Acela corridor in the “flyover states” and the people who actually work in those states to make America the incredible country it is.
It is a division between a radicalized Democratic Party which hates the traditional American values upon which our Republic is built, and those who shed blood on foreign fields to vouchsafe that Republic and who carry a badge and a gun and keep us safe from those who would use violence against us at home.
And it is a division between the average American conservative who still believes in the model of citizen-politician typified by our Founding Fathers and our 45th president and their Republican senators and congressman who have become professional politicians, grifters, liars, and cowards.

And yet, most American Blacks are compelled to take the path of least resistance. They vote Democrats to shower themselves with Entitlements for the life of poverty and despair.

It is unfortunate that many who believe in the principles of conservative governance think that our established system is self perpetuating.
It is not.
Seductive promises made by enemies and fools will undermine us if we allow it to. We have allowed ourselves to be scared away by the intensity of the counterculture since the early 19th century. Bit by bit, the founding principles of our Country have been eroded. That´s not to say that all change is bad. But we have let ourselves be intimidated by loud but destructive voices. We have historical knowledge of things that work and things that do not, but our foes continually urge use to ignore historical fact. "It is old and moldy. We are Moving On." It is a well used and effective technique to destroy or ignore history to establish things that are unsound and destructive but benefit an elite few.
We need to be vigilant and we need to be willing to fight to win, even when it gets loud and messy. That stresses out a lot of people who just want to live quiet, comfy lives but you can choose to disturb that life for a good cause, to preserve good things OR you will have it disturbed by others who would tear it all down.
Candace Owens is the kind of fighter we need. I´m not sure she would be a good politician or has the skills to execute political goals. We often make the mistake of trying to push good people into politics when that is not where they belong. At the moment I see her as a philosophical leader and that is vital, perhaps more so than a politician. Time will tell.

Watching Ms. Owens testify before this committee was a thing of beauty. She was fearless and on target to destroy the myth of the democrat party that they are the party who has the best interests of the black community foremost in mind. Clearly, Candace put that lie to bed right in front of them. They tried to intimidate her from their lofty perches and totally failed. She showed she has the heart of a warrior confident in her ability to defeat these liars with truth. She shamed them thoroughly with her clarity, poise and determination to speak the truth.
She is a dangerous entity to the democrat party and would be a role model to the apathetic and lazy establishment, but they won’t benefit from her example. So entrenched in self-aggrandizement and pride they will never believe there is a better way to govern than their stupefying surrender in the face of democrat attacks. God help these good for nothing parasites who would rather lose the country than to mount an offensive assault against the democrat party who is hellbent on destroying the Republic. Candace Owens is the antithesis of these appeasers. She is articulate, bold, confident in her message and willing to take to the field of ideas and win. Shame on them and God bless Candace Owens. She has a bright history making future ahead.

Sebastian Gorka and Candace Owens have not been turned to the RIMO dark side.... yet
The old RINOs have corrupted our faith in republican principles and have so far successfully squashed those holding true to the cause--
Pray for a revival of our conscience and determination to take on this challenge they are leading to bring the "elders" to the truth they once represented!
If they will not turn back to the right path, it will be time to go on without them and follow Ms, Owen´s lead

Candace is the Superstar the Conservatives have been looking for and desperately need, but not as a politician. She will be more influential as a voice outside of Washington.
What she´s doing right now with Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA going the colleges and universities is powerful. The young minds of the future need a vibrant young role model on the Right. Someone who speaks the truth with facts not empty promises and someone they can relate to. She can do more autonomously then tether herself to the conforms of a political party.
As we go into 2020, with the centennial anniversary of women´s right to vote, the Left will be high gear using the plight of women as one of their campaign themes to sway young women voters. But with who, Elizabeth, Kamala, Kirsten, Amy, AOL, Nancy...I don´t think so.
Who better than Candace Owen to have on the Right as independent role model for the young women of the future.

#15 is exactly right. She more effective as a conservative voice than a "Republican" voice. If she takes the Republican route, she will be effectively silenced, certainly muted to barely audible.
National politics is less about ideology and political parties than about right and wrong - and there is plenty wrong relative to our national interests and our government. We suffer under the Uniparty and Big Brother government. Americans need to shuck them off, like yesterday!

#11 and #15: Our "problem" is conflating lower case conservatism with the Republican party. My observation of local Tea Parties was the effort of GOP members to infiltrate those groups and redirect and even dissipate their energy.
As the chasm in our political terra firma widens, we need new leadership - and a new party - to stand firm with the principles embodied in Ms. Owens and Freedom Caucus members, and not to dissipate or dilute them. This is the season: a time for war, a time to fignt, and not a time to "get along".

Continued efforts like the Tea Party are indeed vital, but until those of us in "flyover country" demand a Constitutional Amendment for term limits on Congress, we will continue to be subjected to compromised Americans who, once they are elected and get to Washington DC, make it their number one to get re-elected. Sadly, the smell of financial reward and the allure of power are just too much of a roadblock for us to have a Congress that actually cares about the good of the nation.

After I finally found out what Acela was and how to pronounce it, it occurs to me that the enemies of America could nuke the entire seaboard (leave NJ whole) and AMERICA would sill be the greatest country on earth. We would just have to start up a new place to meet. The founders left a blueprint for how to do it. We now only need ways of separating the Aaron Burrs, Benedict Arnolds, J. Wilkes Booths and WJ Clintons (federally employed Americans who tried to undo all the patriots have done) from the patriotic citizens and finding the next George Washington, George Patton and Donald Trump for leadership roles. Would not hurt to have another Rush and Candace safely deposited centrally.

We all see things through our senses and experience. Most develop self interest, some unselfish love for others, instincts and opinions that support them. Not like mathematics, which ideally has a right and wrong answer. When I see and hear Candace Owens, I believe, through my elderly experience, that she is as honest, precise and balanced as anyone I’ve witnessed or read about. If time is fair, we will find out eventually. Certainly she is extraordinary at this point.
