An elephant trampled a suspected rhino poacher to death and his remains were devoured by a lion, according to the South African National Parks. The incident took place Tuesday at Kruger National Park and his remains were recovered two days later, officials said. The deceased’s family told authorities his accomplices told them the man had been killed. The four accomplices fled the scene but were later arrested and are in custody. After the family was informed, they called the park and head ranger Don English formed a search party.

If it weren’t for stupid Asians and their preoccupations with sexual performance, there wouldn’t be poachers.

The Democrats will probably claim that the poacher was a MAGA hat wearing Trump supporter, that some low information identity based Democrat constitutency group members will believe. But no physical evidence of that can be produced because a lion ate the hat!

I´m confused. Should the elephant be named Karma? Or the lion? Either way it sounds like teamwork!

Is this a metaphor for Trump? Is Trump the RINO poacher and the ´Elephant´ is the Deep State Rebublicans and the lion the Democrats in the House?

I love animals for a lot more than just because they taste good.
They can get things done without the corrupted interference of courts and government; a skill long-lost to Homo sapiens.
“Entering Kruger National Park illegally and on foot is not wise, it holds many dangers and this incident is evidence of that," Glenn Phillips, Managing Executive of the KNP, said. "It is very sad to see the daughters of the diseased mourning the loss of their father, and worse still, only being able to recover very little of his remains.”
I like that. Maybe they can stitch together an umbrella stand out of whatever is left of this piece of trash.

I like the lion ending to this. A lot. In fact, it seems a good solution to the high expense of feeding big cats in wild animal compounds.

Poachers are evil, he got what he deserved. Never confuse a poacher with hunters, please.
Some countries in African hunt poachers and shoot them on sight. Works for me. I hunted Africa legally, and spent four days in Kruger Park, a wonderful place really teeming with amazing animals.

To save a rhino the elephant takes down the poacher and the lion does his best to hide the evidence - something prophetic about that - maybe more poetic.

It is always good to have a poacher killed, by whatever means.
We took an three hour walking tour in Kruger National Park, saw elephants, lion tracks, rhino tracks. Two rangers led us, one at the front of our line of walking people, one at the back. Each had a .458 Winchester "elephant rifle", loaded and extra ammo.
When one would be explaining some tracks or animals we were seeing, the other was head up, looking around, rifle ready.
I asked if they ever had to shoot, and they said, "Sometimes". I asked if rhino or elephant did ´false charges´ like our grizzly bears will often do. The ranger looked amazed and said, "No, when they charge, we begin shooting. There are no false charges here."
It was very interesting to walk through that country, because otherwise, it was absolutely necessary to stay inside the car except inside the electric fenced compounds where we ate and slept. Kruger is 99% ruled by the animals, and one must not forget that.
