President Donald Trump dismissed the news that House Democrats asked the Internal Revenue Service for six years of tax returns on Wednesday. “Is that all? Oh. Usually, it’s ten so I guess they’re giving up,” Trump replied when asked about the news by reporters at the White House. House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) requested six years of Trump’s taxes, thwarting the president’s decision not to release them during his run for office. Trump used the same excuse he used during the election, noting that he would not release his returns because he was being audited.
I hate DemocRATs.

You people may not realize this, but a very wealthy person or a large business is uder constant audit/attention by the IRS, and a good portion of deductions are negotiated.
Matters are more complicated with foreign travel and foreign business assets.
ITS rules can be painfully detailed, and even when someone gains an admission by the IRS that soemething was done correctly, the IRS will issue a disclaimer that the decision was not precedent setting.
The democrats want those tax returns fpr wild goose chase purposes, hoping to taint the 2020 election.

Bernie is unwilling to hand over his income taxes. Reason being he would have to acknowledge that inheritance from Jane´s family which never happened. That money to buy the expensive Lake Front House came from elsewhere. Take a guess?

#3 is exactly correct. The leftoids know they won´t find anything illegal there ( the IRS would have already addressed anything along those lines). But they will be able to pick and choose various entries and deductions and such and spin that any which way they want to paint DJT as being a greedy, shady, underhanded slickster who is doing his utmost to avoid paying his "fair share". And their willing toadies in the "news" industry will certainly do their part to make that part of "accepted common knowledge" before the next election.
Just another wild fishing expedition.

Trump and his attorneys will simply tie the Rats up in court for the next two years, by which time hopefully the House will revert back to the GOP making the whole matter moot.

Trump should say "I´ll release my tax returns AFTER Hillary releases her college thesis".

The democrats can lead by example. If they provide their tax returns for the last six years to the public, I´m sure President Trump will follow.

Special thanks to all the RINOs who followed Ryan´s lead and vacated their Congressional seats to help the House turnover happen, and of course to the voters with no powers of observation.

I just read the relevant section that the democrats are using. As is usually the case, the act isn´t as presented. The IRS doesn´t turn over returns just because "Congress" asks for them. Only chairmen of specific committees can request them. There must be a reason. "we just want to see what´s in them and hope to find a violation" isnt sufficient reason. The returns once turned over can only be viewed while in Executive Session, Closed Door..... And cant be made public.
