WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court blocked further construction of President Trump’s planned White House ballroom Friday, ruling that the massive project must first receive congressional approval.
A divided panel of DC circuit judges determined that “Congress has exclusive authority to regulate the construction and demolition of White House structures.”
“We are aware of no instance in American history in which a President unilaterally and using privately collected funds demolished substantial portions of the White House that Congress authorized to be built and American taxpayers paid for. Until now,” wrote judges Patricia Millet and Bradley Garcia in their majority opinion. “The Constitution’s Property Clause vests Congress with plenary control

Former President Joe Biden's prostate cancer has spread to other parts of his body and is causing him significant pain, his son Hunter Biden revealed during a Friday interview.
"The cancer has spread, metastasized into his bones and further," Hunter Biden told the BBC in an interview which aired Friday. "It’s very painful and it’s very debilitating in many respects," he added.
"It’s really sad to watch," Hunter Biden said. "The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good."

A resurfaced clip from a 2020 documentary shows Michigan Democratic Senate primary winner Abdul El-Sayed saying he “hates Mackinac so much” while visiting the island during his 2018 campaign for governor. He lost that bid before aiming to represent the state at the federal level. The footage comes from the documentary “How To Fix A Primary,” which followed El-Sayed’s unsuccessful gubernatorial campaign. In the scene, El-Sayed can be seen walking toward the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan as one of the island's iconic horse-drawn carriages pass by. “I hate Mackinac so much,” El-Sayed says in the video. He then references the island’s being the governor’s official summer residence,

It's been ten years since Hillary Clinton lost her race to be president, her hopes dashed by the guy she thought she could easily beat, and who has now gone on to another term.
Yet, she still seems fully obsessed with him. So he not only beat her in that race, but he's beaten her ever since, if she has him constantly living rent-free in her mind.
Clinton appeared on Kara Swisher's Pivot podcast, and she spoke about what Democrats should do if they were able to take back the White House in the future. Talk about projection.
But think about what Clinton is saying there —

The new Michigan Democrat Senate candidate received a large donation from a terrorist front group, which also endorsed him in the primary.
Abdul El-Sayed won the Democrat Senate primary and will face Republican Mike Rogers in a key race in the midterm election. More ominously, between employees and leaders of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), El-Sayed has raised over $115,000. But CAIR is little more than a front group for Islamic jihad, with close ties to Hamas. Fox News reviewed evidence that resulted in the exposé on El-Sayed, who ironically has made “money out of politics” a rallying cry in his campaign. Then again,

A Republican lawmaker is seeking a special session to pass a voter ID proposal after New Jersey’s Democrat Gov. Mikie Sherrill supported the general policy.
Republican state Sen. Michael Testa Jr. is calling for the Legislature to reconvene and pass a bill that he co-sponsored requiring voters to present photo ID at polling places, in light of revelations that at least 6,600 noncitizens were registered to vote in the Garden State.
“I think it’s necessary, if not possible,” Testa told the Daily Signal of a special session to pass the bill, noting the Legislature’s Democrat majority is not likely to support it.

Coca-Cola is facing a new wave of backlash after viral videos appeared to show the company’s online personalization tool immediately rejecting positive Christian messages, while references to Allah, Satan, and even degrading attacks on Jesus advanced to the preview stage.
Conservative commentator Isabel Brown tested the customizer on camera after receiving a tip from a friend. In the video, phrases including “Allah is good,” “Muhammad is good,” and “Satan is good” appeared to generate can previews. But when Brown entered “Jesus is good,” the site returned a rejection message: “The name or phrase you’ve submitted is not permitted.”
