Iran declares the Strait of Hormuz closed
again after US lifts blockade

Iran re-closed the Strait of Hormuz Friday instead of heading to Switzerland for nuclear negotiations, citing Israel’s refusal to pull forces out of southern Lebanon and US forces’ ongoing presence in the region. In a statement read over maritime radio channels, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the US was in violation of the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran, which President Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian signed Wednesday. “Since Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon, the complete lifting of the naval blockade, and the withdrawal of American terrorist forces from the Persian Gulf and the region are among the main conditions of the agreement between Iran and the United States,

I really hope that I am wrong but I believe that Iran is making a fool out of us with no intention of honoring any agreement with the United States or Israel! Nobody supports Trump more than I but I’m thinking that he is bending over too far to make a deal and save the midterms for the Republicans! We don’t need or want a “deal” with Iran! We need and want an unconditional surrender and regime change now! Enough of the extended deadlines!

This is how Muslims operate. You cannot do business with Muslims any more than you can negotiate with bacteria. The proper negotiating position to take with Muslims is your boot on their neck and your bayonet in their ear. Total annihilation is the only thing they understand. Muslims pray for death, so give it to them.

Scarcely a day passes when I don’t receive a message from one of my American friends asking, “What the hell is going on over there?” By “over there,” of course, they mean “in the UK,” where I live. In recent weeks, I’ve been taking a lot of questions about the murder of Henry Nowak and the scandalous response by police, who handcuffed him and left him to bleed to death in the street because the man who had stabbed him—a Sikh called Vickrum Digwa—said he was the victim of a racist attack. That was a lie. A lie that the rest of Digwa’s family acquiesced in without a second thought.

The warning stated that "the writing on the cap violates our rules, and consistent with normal practice, we have warned the players about future violations." As he prepared to sign his “memorandum of understanding” with the Islamic dictatorship of Iran, President Trump again insisted that his deal was much different than that of his predecessor, President Barack Obama. He’s right — it’s probably worse. Obama’s treaty did not prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, it simply punted the issue down the road in exchange for cash. Trump’s agreement has the same vague promises, the same payouts, but with the added twist that Iran can and will take the world hostage by shutting the Strait of Hormuz at will. On Friday, just days after the signing of the MOU, Iran moved to close the Strait,

Republicans are largely skeptical that President Trump’s deal with Iran will deliver a geopolitical win, but they are bullish about its impact on the midterms, with gas prices already dropping. One national Republican operative described feeling “relief” after the agreement, pointing to positive reactions from markets. Oil prices have fallen to their lowest point since the war began at the end of February following the announcement of the memorandum of understanding between the U.S. and Iran this week. Brent Crude, the international oil benchmark, sat at $79.53 per barrel on Thursday, while West Texas Industrial, the U.S. benchmark, was at $76.55.

The cackhanded pursuit of Net Zero by Ed Miliband and his predecessors has left Britain having to pay France and other countries to take excess power off our hands for a significant portion of the year. The Telegraph has more. It’s the Ed Miliband paradox: why does Britain have among the highest power prices in Europe when we have so much electricity that suppliers have to pay customers to use it? It was a question repeated across the energy industry last week after power prices briefly turned negative, meaning customers and countries abroad were paid to use surplus electricity generated in Britain rather than having to pay for it.
