Well, we knew the Democrat antics ahead of and during Tuesday night's State of the Union address from President Donald Trump would not disappoint, and it surely hasn't so far, with Democrat Rep. Al Green (TX-09) keeping up his tradition of getting kicked out of Trump presidential addresses by being deported out of this one, too.
Green was seen during the early portion of Trump's speech holding up a "Black people aren't apes" sign. He was ejected soon after:
House Majority Leader Steve Scalise swiped at the sign as he entered with the president,

President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address was long, occasionally somber, and at times funny. It was also a clear statement of how he intends to define success in his second term: stronger wallets, stronger borders, and a renewed moral confidence about what America should stand for.
The headline claim was economic. Trump described an economy that is “booming” with falling inflation, rising wages, and a renewed sense of national momentum. Critics will whine that many Americans still feel squeezed, but it matters that the president is staking his case for Republican control on affordability, work, and growth rather than abstract slogans.

For days, the narrative was that the US women’s hockey team did the right thing by not attending President Trump’s State of the Union, whereas the men’s team, which did attend, was misogynistic and racist. They ruined their gold medal moment, they said. Who are these people? Also, wrong.
It all started after Trump joked about being impeached if he didn’t invite the women’s team, following the men’s team’s 2-1 overtime victory over archrival Canada in the gold medal match, which occurred 46 years to the day after the Miracle on Ice game against the Soviets at Lake Placid. Trump spoke to the team during their locker room celebration.

One of the recurring themes of President Trump's Angel Families remembrance ceremony yesterday was how the Democrats and their media allies have ignored Angel Families and their plight for years.
White House Director of Communications and Assistant to the President Steven Cheung blasted the media yesterday for not covering the heartbreaking statements of the Americans who lost loved ones to criminal illegal aliens, calling it "sickening and horrific." [Tweets, video]
Cheung specifically called out CNN and MS NOW for refusing to broadcast the ceremony.
But CNN took it a step further and treated these Angel Families with pure, unadulterated contempt.

Remember that scene in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith when the Galactic Senate votes to give all-encompassing emergency powers to Emperor Palpatine?
That’s basically what will happen in Hawaii if a pair of emergency powers bills are passed. State lawmakers have advanced two bills that would empower the governor to declare an emergency and then order quarantines, enter private property, suspend existing statutes, regulate and seize firearms, and completely exterminate the Jedi order.
Okay, I made that last one up, but the fact remains: These bills are some of the scariest I’ve seen at any level of government lately.

It didn’t take long for opponents to attempt to diminish the most notable Olympic victory in decades. On Sunday, the US men’s hockey team secured the gold medal by defeating its archrival Canada. This occurred 46 years after the Miracle on Ice game, which was also the last Winter Olympics in which our hockey team won gold.
However, because liberals are often seen as misguided, anti-Trump, and worse, un-American, they tend to dampen the mood. The good thing is that there are few, so the rest of us patriots just laugh at them. This isn’t a time to rely on those worthless “whine like a b**ch” degrees. No way.

To me, it was the most undignified moment in modern American politics, and not surprisingly, it came from the divisive and bitter “Speaker Emerita,” Nancy Pelosi (CA-11). Serving as Speaker of the House at the time — February 2020 — the San Franciscan tore up her copy of Trump’s State of the Union speech (Snip) Of course, since they are not in control of the Oval Office, the Senate, or the House, Democrats now rely on obstruction, protests, and endless whining over imagined existential threats posed by the president. Will they stay classy, though, for a time-honored tradition, the State of the Union address, scheduled for February 24?

A senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) general declared the United States is “finished” and claimed that even deploying America’s entire aircraft carrier fleet against Iran “won’t be able to do a damn thing” as U.S. and Iranian officials concluded a second round of nuclear talks in Geneva Tuesday under the shadow of an expanding American military buildup across the Middle East.
General Mohammad Reza Naghdi, a senior adviser to the IRGC’s commander-in-chief, made the remarks last Wednesday in comments to an Iranian state-affiliated news agency, according to a translation released by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

On February 17, 2026, President Trump’s Department of Veteran’s Affairs announced it is ending the decades-old practice of reporting veterans to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) for using a fiduciary.
On February 27, 2024, Breitbart News reported:
Veterans’ gun rights have long been in the crosshairs of anti-Second Amendment politicians.
For example, in February 2016, during the Obama administration, Breitbart News noted that numerous combat veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who might need treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder were increasingly hesitant to pursue it because they feared a diagnosis of PTSD would be used to deny their gun rights under the Obama administration.

A man walked up to a 13-year-old boy and slashed his throat in an unprovoked attack near Daytona Beach Pier on Valentine’s Day.
The boy miraculously survived the attack.
The boy’s father said he could see “all the way down to the meat” after a man slashed his son’s throat.
The Clarke family was walking down the boardwalk in Daytona Beach on Saturday when 44-year-old Jermaine Long approached 13-year-old Sullivan Clarke and intentionally sliced his throat.
“I thought he was stealing Sully’s phone,” the boy’s mother, Lori Clarke told Fox 35. “As soon as he slashed him, I yelled, and I said ‘Hey!”
“I could see his neck gashed wide open.

When President Donald Trump’s lawyer, Robert Garson, floated the idea of asylum for Britain’s Jews last month, saying “the UK is no longer a safe place for Jews,” a natural response was to focus on the likelihood of more terrorist attacks against Jews by radical Muslims. This concern is warranted, as we were reminded last week after the conviction of two men for plotting to murder hundreds of Jews in an Islamic State-inspired attack in Manchester. Sky News contributor Sophie Elsworth, in a segment on the convictions, echoed Garson’s words, saying that the rise of antisemitism in the UK is “incredibly frightening.”

A beloved teacher in Savannah, Georgia, was killed Monday morning when a vehicle driven by a Guatemalan national, who was fleeing from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents during an attempted apprehension, crashed into her car.
Thus far, there have been no leftist riots or calls to say her name.
Dr. Linda Davis, a special education teacher at Hesse K-8 School, was pronounced dead after the collision, which occurred very near the opening bell time.
The suspect, 38-year-old Oscar Vasquez Lopez—who entered the U.S. illegally and had received a final order of removal in 2024 under former President Joe Biden—initially pulled over, but then took off, prompting ICE agents to give chase.
Comments:
Excellent summary of the SOTU speech.
