Former UK Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson announced Sunday that he has resigned from the Labour Party, amid growing scrutiny over his connections to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Mandelson’s resignation comes after the release on Friday of Department of Justice documents suggesting Epstein made payments totaling $75,000 to accounts linked to the Labour peer between 2003 and 2004. Mandelson, who was a sitting member of Parliament at the time, denied receiving the money, but said he would resign to avoid causing “further embarrassment” over his ties to Epstein.

I said this Epstein files business would backfire on democrats. Otherwise it would have come gushing out while Biden was president. It's fun to watch them squirm.

In January of 2017 California Senator Dianne Feinstein abdicated her position as Vice-Chair of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI). Upon the initiation of a new congress, and two weeks before the inauguration of President Donald Trump, Virginia Senator Mark Warner took the SSCI Vice-Chair seat…. and that’s how things get started. Amid a concerted effort to resist the incoming administration the Russia Collusion Conspiracy was launched. Politicians, the U.S. intelligence apparatus and DC beltway media united in common purpose to push a Trump-Russia narrative. Within the early days of that effort, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence initiated an investigation into Russian interference with the election.

Since joining SCOTUS, Alito has been a staunch and reliable originalist, authoring some of the court’s most significant decisions of the 21st century. This includes the court’s 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization ruling, which overturned the horrifically decided Roe v. Wade (1973) and the imaginary “constitutional right” to abortion.Producing strong, consistent originalist interpretation and wisdom at the Supreme Court for two decades is no small feat. So, it only seemed fitting that The Federalist compile 10 of the justice’s best quotes from over the years to celebrate the occasion.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just arrested nearly 700 illegal aliens in West Virginia with the help of local law enforcement, showing the stark contrast between state and local police supporting immigration enforcement and the Democrat-run catastrophe in Minnesota. ICE announced Friday that it arrested 650 illegals, including those who allegedly engaged in child sex abuse, drug possession, endangering the welfare of children, and other offenses.Teams from ICE Philadelphia performed the operation, deploying to six cities in West Virginia to arrest “hundreds of illegal aliens who present dangers to

A federal judge has rejected a bid by state and local officials in Minnesota to end Operation Metro Surge, the Trump administration’s massive deployment of thousands of federal agents to aggressively enforce immigration laws. In a ruling Saturday, U.S. District Court Judge Katherine Menendez found strong evidence that the ongoing federal operation ”has had, and will likely continue to have, profound and even heartbreaking, consequences on the State of Minnesota, the Twin Cities, and Minnesotans.”

Apparently, the Senate and House intelligence committees are very concerned about what Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is doing. Almost every tweet from Senator Mark Warner in the past 48 hours has been about DNI Tulsi Gabbard. What seems to worry them the most is that they don’t know exactly what she is doing. Triggered by Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) Vice-Chairman Mark Warner, the Democrats are now demanding Director Gabbard tell them her intentions and her itinerary so they can monitor her activity. Tulsi Gabbard continues to review internal government activity without consulting them. .”

Internal orders issued by China’s top military authority have met widespread resistance at the grassroots level following the purge of two of the country’s most senior generals, according to multiple sources close to the People’s Liberation Army who spoke to The Epoch Times. After Central Military Commission (CMC) Vice Chairman Zhang Youxia and chief of the Joint Staff Department Liu Zhenli were placed under investigation on Jan. 24, at least two directives issued by the CMC General Office to theater commands and group armies were ignored or only passively acknowledged. Sources said the grassroots troops within the military are expressing dissatisfaction, with the command-and-control system of the People’s

President Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, on Thursday publicly acknowledged internal changes made to federal immigration operations in Minnesota following the shooting deaths of two U.S. citizens at the hands of federal officers, saying President Trump wants to “fix” immigration operations in the state. “President Trump wants this fixed, and I’m going to fix it, with your help,” Homan said, speaking at a press conference in Minneapolis. The event marked Homan’s first public remarks after Trump dispatched him to Minnesota on Monday, following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti. The administration in the aftermath of the shooting has made changes to the operation in Minnesota,

In the wake of the Border Patrol shooting of anti-ICE agitator Alex Pretti, Democrats — and many Republicans — are utilizing his death to call for a “de-escalation” or a complete end of deportation operations while pushing, yet again, for so-called “comprehensive immigration reform.” But these politicians and pundits persistently ignore the reality that taking deportations at scale off the table undermines the entire immigration law enforcement framework President Donald Trump has so successfully implemented during his second term. Prominent among the anti-deportation voices are, of course, Democrats Tim Walz and Jacob Frey(snip) but their numbers also include GOP Rep. California drivers and Republican legislators are furious over a Democrat-led proposal that could see motorists taxed for each mile they drive. With the state staring down a budget deficit in the billions and more Californians switching to electric vehicles, Democratic lawmakers are searching for new ways to shore up declining gas tax revenue. Californians pay the second-highest gas price in the nation behind only Hawaii. In January, the average price was $4.23 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association. On Thursday, state legislators advanced Democrat Lori Wilson’s bill, AB 1421, which would direct the California Transportation Commission and the state Transportation Agency to continue studying options for a mileage-based tax,

Democrats in the Washington state legislature are pushing a proposal that establishes a list of demographic groups that are presumed to be “socially disadvantaged” for the purposes of state business certification. Based on the breadth of those categories, roughly 70 percent of Washington state residents would fall under the bill’s definition of “socially disadvantaged.” Under existing statute, the Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) defines a “socially disadvantaged individual” as someone who has experienced racial or ethnic prejudice or cultural bias within American society due to group identity, stemming from circumstances beyond the individual’s control. The agency may also determine social disadvantage on a case-by-case basis.
