In the latest episode of the Deep State circus that’s turned our justice system into a bad joke, a 92-year-old federal judge appointed by none other than Bill Clinton back in the ’90s has been assigned to oversee the high-profile case against Venezuelan socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro in New York.
This is the same judge who has a track record of rulings that seem tailor-made to thwart President Trump’s agenda and protect left-wing interests.
U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, who took senior status way back in 2011, but somehow keeps popping up in major cases.
He has issued several controversial rulings adverse to Donald Trump and his administration.

IMO, it's a mistake to send Maduro to trial in the the SDNY. That is a deep state leftist pit of vipers.

One wonders if Supreme Joke Chief Jester Roberts hand picked this Clinton Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist for the case. One would be shocked if Chief Jester Roberts had nothing to do with the choice.

With the speed of the courts, he may be at room temperature by the time of the trial.

FTA: 'He stated that “autocracies of the world have been marked by harsh regimes of exclusion and detention,” framing the policy as unconstitutional and inhumane. This decision ordered expedited reviews for detainees, directly challenging the Department of Homeland Security’s enforcement tactics.' Where was he on the Jan. 6th political prisoners? Sounds to me like he is the Luca Brasi of the SDNY court.

What in the world do we need a 92 year old judge for? There should be an age where retirement is mandatory.

The judge will probably dismiss the charges and order the administration to return Maduro to Venezuela.

Democrats are becoming like those little monkeys Fred Harvey brought back to his Nashville store. A bit before air-borne germs had been invented, the monkey cages were placed next to the lunch-counter. That's where the phrase "Harvey's Has It" came from.

AFAIC, OJ got off on jury nullification. Maduro will probably get off on judicial nullification. If he is ordered to be returned to Venezuela, they should slow walk him barefoot and in skivvies, handcuffs, and leg irons the whole way, And I mean literally slow walk him. He might even survive the journey.

He has been on Senior Status(retired in place)for 15YEARS, yet somehow gets called in to adjudicate half a dozen Trump related cases? There are 46 current judges in the Circuit, which covers only 6 counties, 24 of whom are "Senior Status". Only FOUR of whom have been appointed by Trump during his 1st term. Six were appointed by Biden. There are 4 vacancies...Nominations being blocked by Dems.(49 Vacancies nationwide)

What the F? 92 year old judge. Term limits or age limits need to be in place. I don't care how sharp a person is at 92. Wearing judge's robes should not be something accepted.

Well last evening, I believe on Air Force One, Trump was asked by the media about this judge and Trump replied that he was “a very respected” judge. So all one can say at this point is that at least no US personnel were killed during the operation in Venezuela.

DOJ decides where to file. New York is one of the key courts for international cases; it has the infrastructure to handle such cases, including high-grade security measures surrounding such instances. That said, so do Miami and Dallas, and every other central federal district - it ain't rocket science. There seem to be facts that can tie the case to NY, but it is hard to believe that the Maduro Cartel is only operating in NY. My choice would be Pierre, SD.
This is the same DOJ (fbi) responsible for ensuring that elections are free of fraud. And how many indictments, and more importantly, convictions, have we seen from them for the rampant election fraud.
