It looks like it may finally be the execrable former Obama CIA head John Brennan's time.
The House Judiciary Committee announced on Tuesday that they were making a criminal referral to the Department of Justice for action. The Chair of the Committee, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), alleged that Brennan had lied to Congress. Rep. Jim Jordan claims in the letter:
1. Brennan falsely denied that the CIA relied on the discredited Steele dossier in drafting the post-election Intelligence Community Assessment.
2. Brennan falsely testified when he told the Committee that the CIA opposed including the Steele dossier in the ICA.
3. Brennan also provided false testimony during a HPSCI hearing in 2017.

We talk a lot about China buying up U.S. farmland and what a problem that is for our own national security. In recent years, many of us — though not enough if you ask me — have been warning about how much influence Beijing has over some other countries in the Western Hemisphere, and how it would be in our best interest to do what we can to stop that. It's the number one reason why I have no problem with Donald Trump doing away with Nicolás Maduro, allowing for the rightfully elected president, Edmundo González, to step in and take his place.

In American political theater, every dance follows a specific conceit. It’s how our career politicians know when to lead and when to follow. For the government shutdown dance, the conceit hasn’t changed since the first one in 1981: Closing vital government services — and interrupting the delivery of federal paychecks — will infuriate the American people, and whoever they blame will suffer their wrath on Election Day.So, for God’s sake, don’t get caught in the crossfire!
That’s why the D.C. finger-pointing, grandstanding, and name-calling had already reached a fever pitch: Losing the blame-game could cost ‘em their political future.

Hunter Biden finally addressed the pardon in an interview with journalist Tommy Christopher and claimed Trump’s victory in November 2024 inspired his father, then–President Joe Biden, to pardon him the following month.
“Donald Trump went and changed everything,” Hunter Biden said. “And I don’t think that I need to make much of an argument about why it changed everything.”
If Trump had not won the election, Hunter Biden does not believe his father would have pardoned him. Instead, Hunter thinks he would have won in the appeals process.

Called “ultraconservative” by the liberal media, Japan’s new prime minister is its first woman ever in that position. But a Japanese feminist author told NBC News that Japan attaining its first female prime minister “doesn’t make me happy.” Sanae Takaichi takes the reins of power in Japan with strongly conservative positions on gender and marriage. She’s much more like Phyllis Schlafly than Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris.
Takaichi opposes same-sex marriage and is against allowing married woman to keep their maiden name as their last name after marriage. She favors the Japanese tradition of male-only succession in its imperial family.

Federal immigration authorities arrested multiple people, including illegal vendors and enraged protesters, on Tuesday afternoon in a targeted operation on Canal Street in Manhattan’s Chinatown, authorities and law enforcement sources said.
ICE agents descended on the block between Lafayette and Centre Street, which is typically crowded with merchants selling knockoff designer bags and other items, around 4 p.m., according to the sources.
Some vendors tried to flee, with some seen running and falling as agents closed in, according to WABC.

Former Biden White House Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called Trump White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt “deplorable” during an appearance on ABC’s “The View” on Tuesday.
“The View” asked Karine Jean-Pierre to react to a clip of Leavitt and a text exchange she had with a far-left Huffington Post ‘reporter.’
Karine Jean-Pierre echoed Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” insult and called Leavitt “deplorable.”
“Any advice for the current press secretary?” Sunny Hostin asked KJP.

In New Mexico, it’s almost impossible to prove voter fraud. No proof of citizenship is required to register to vote, and no voter ID is required for in-person voting. For absentee voting, no photo ID is required to obtain an absentee ballot, no copy of a photo ID need be included with the returned absentee ballot, and there is no signature verification of the signature on the returned inner envelope.
Why does New Mexico have such slipshod laws? You can thank the Democrat-controlled state Legislature that has had single-party rule for decades.

The rabbi of a prominent Manhattan synagogue slammed Zohran Mamdani as a “danger to the security of the New York Jewish community” — as he urged congregants to back Andrew Cuomo for mayor instead.
“I believe Zohran Mamdani poses a danger to the security of the New York Jewish community,” Rabbi Elliot Cosgrove, of the renowned Park Avenue Synagogue on the Upper East Side, said during his Saturday sermon.
He said Mamdani refuses to denounce the phrase “Globalize the Intifada,” denies Israel’s legitimacy as a Jewish state, has vowed to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and cited his “thrice-repeated accusations of genocide” against Israel in Gaza at last week’s mayoral debate.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told NBC News that he is “ready” to engage Russian strongman Vladimir Putin directly to negotiate an end to Russia’s invasion of his country, potentially at a proposed summit in Hungary, the state outlet Ukrinform reported on Sunday. Zelensky made the remarks following a visit to the White House and a one-on-one meeting with President Donald Trump on Friday. Trump stated during the engagement that, following the signing of a peace agreement to end the war in Gaza last week, he intends to focus America’s foreign policy on achieving a sustainable peace for Ukraine.

Mohammed Nazzal, a senior official with the Hamas terrorist organization, defended his group’s mass execution of Palestinian civilians on Friday after President Donald Trump warned Hamas could face utter destruction for the murders. Nazzal, a member of the Hamas Politburo, defended public executions as “exceptional measures” for dealing with “criminals.” He denied accusations that Hamas was simply rounding up and killing its adversaries to keep power in Gaza, even though the ceasefire deal stipulated that Hamas would play no role in postwar administration.
