A federal judge on Tuesday threw out the Trump administration’s lawsuit against Maryland’s entire federal bench in an emphatic ruling that underscored the extraordinary nature of the suit, slamming it as “potentially calamitous.” U.S. District Judge Thomas Cullen, who was nominated by President Donald Trump, also criticized the administration’s attacks on the judiciary, highlighting in a footnote that White House officials in recent months had described judges as “rogue,” “unhinged” and “crooked,” among other epithets.

Wow, because it would actually expose the scheme being deployed to slow down the changes and actions of this administration it's considered "potentially calamitous"? The key word, potentially. Hardly sounds like an actual legal reason based on case law and statutes does it?

So the judiciary is immune from being stopped - you can't sue them, you cannot injunct them, they cannot have brought against them the very tools they use to thwart the exercise of the president's due powers. Miraculous. Once again the courts will avoid dealing with a huge problem that truly needs addressing using the same tools they did to avoid even looking at the 2020 election tampering.

Any calamity is the judiciary's own doing....you can't participate in lawfare as a key component and then be surprised when the target of your shenanigans decides that he's no longer playing by the rules you're using to destroy him. The judiciary is pushing this to that point....and that will not be something that they will be able to control once the die is cast.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin cannot not sign a peace deal with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky because Moscow views him as “illegitimate,” Moscow’s top diplomat said Sunday. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made the declaration in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” suggesting that Putin will not be able to make an agreement with him. Lavrov also threw up yet another roadblock to direct talks between Putin and Zelensky, saying that Russia has an “agenda” in mind that must to be agreed before the two sides can sit down together. “There is no meeting planned,” Lavrov told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

President Donald Trump wants to stop the killing in Ukraine, but Russia’s foot-dragging is making it abundantly clear that he’ll need to apply far more pressure before any serious negotiations can begin. To do so, Trump will have to squeeze Russia’s primary source of income, its oil revenues — without upending the global energy market in the process. In an interview that aired Sunday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov rejected US-backed security guarantees for Ukraine and balked at Trump’s push for direct talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Putin insists that Ukrainian forces withdraw from the Kyiv-controlled parts of the country’s eastern Donbas region —

Starting to lift the lid off a far, far larger scam, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick just nixed $7 billion in “advance payments” that Biden administration staffers aimed to divert to a “nonprofit” controlled by other Democratic insiders. The bigger scam being, of course, how the left (and lots of plain-old Dem machines) feeds off government-funded “charities.” It’s a huge part of the “swamp,” though of course its denizens pretend their motives don’t reek. In this case, the Bidenites were in too much of a hurry to make the theft fully legal: After President Donald Trump’s victory last November,

Is the raid on John Bolton’s home retribution? Revival of a dormant case against him for mishandling national security? Something more sinister?

President Trump claimed Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could bring the nation’s war with Russia to a halt “almost immediately,” if he’s willing to make two major concessions. Trump called for Ukraine to drop its bid to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), a demand long held by Russia, and also said there would be “no getting back” Crimea – signaling to the nation to accept Russia’s illegal 2014 annexation of the region during the Obama administration. “President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight. Bolivia’s presidential election will go to a runoff for the first time, with two rightwing candidates competing for the presidency – marking the end of nearly 20 years of dominance by the leftist Movimiento al Socialismo (Mas). The candidate with the most votes, however, turned out to be a surprise: centre-right senator Rodrigo Paz Pereira, 57, who had started the campaign with just 3% support in opinion polls. In second came Jorge “Tuto” Quiroga, 65, a rightwing former president who briefly led the country in 2001 after the resignation of ex-dictator Hugo Banzer. It’s an energizing time for democratic socialists across the country, and not only because New York state assembly member Zohran Mamdani’s recent win in the New York City mayoral primary moves the United States’ most populous city closer than it ever has been to having a member as mayor. For supporters of the leftwing, worker-led political ideology, last weekend’s annual democratic socialists of America national convention in Chicago, which welcomed tens of thousands of politically minded individuals from across the country to the unionized McCormick Place convention center, was further recognition of the growing influence of the DSA, the country’s largest socialist organization, founded in 1982.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is leaning into the redistricting fight as he looks to build his national profile ahead of a potential 2028 bid, but the move comes with political risks. Newsom formally declared his plans at a rally Thursday to call a special election for November that would allow state lawmakers to redraw California’s congressional map in response to President Trump urging red states to do the same. The plan comes as Newsom positions himself as the most vocal Trump critic on the national stage — and amid speculation he’s planning to mount a White House bid in the coming years.

President Trump has proven once again why he’s the most effective advocate for American workers in modern American politics. He fully understands the threat China poses, and his administration is doing exactly what needs to be done to ensure American competitiveness. While strengthening our manufacturing, he’s also tackling trade diplomacy with China. Because President Trump knows we need both: to grow our ability to compete with China by manufacturing right here in the U.S. and also to pursue trade diplomacy that actually helps American businesses and consumers. The early signals of this effort are positive. For example, Ford’s $5-billion investment in car manufacturing, announced this week,

One reason that many Republican voters took a shine to Donald Trump in 2016 was the way he showed no respect to the national chattering classes of the Democrat-media complex. George W. Bush was a kinder, gentler Republican -- and they compared him to Hitler. No matter which flavor of Republican was elected, the "objective" media savaged him. We've reached the 20th anniversary of deadly Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf of Mexico, which killed an estimated 1,836 Americans. But misinformation landed first. NBC and MSNBC tremendously hyped Democrat Mayor Ray Nagin's "Today" show estimate of 10,000 dead in New Orleans.

In March 2023, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) stood in front of cameras and made a bold promise: 1,200 taxpayer-funded "tiny homes" would be deployed across the state by that fall to combat the exploding homelessness crisis. The cost? A staggering $750 million from California taxpayers. However, as we approach fall 2025, neither the 1,200 homes nor any trace of the $750 million can be found. This is California under Democrat control: big promises, bloated budgets, and nothing to show for it.

Because Trump has them defending the indefensible, all manner of criminals – rapists, child molesters, murderers as well as robbers, wife-beaters, shoplifters, vicious gang members who travel in packs in cities like D.C., Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles -- creating chaos and carnage; not to mention the millions of illegal aliens who have flooded so many cities and changed the culture of those communities. The Democrats love them all. If they’re illegal, they want them to stay, criminal or not. We all know that is because they need their votes
