In the middle of what was a crazy news day on Thursday, there was also a truly unhinged interview with Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) by Nick Sortor.
Sortor caught up with Raskin outside Congress. He asked him if he still supported Kilmar Abrego Garcia after charges had been filed against him. The wild-eyed, unhinged response from Raskin was something else; he was truly triggered. Sortor brought up accusations previously made by Abrego Garcia's wife. It should be noted that Abrego Garcia hasn't been charged with anything regarding those prior accusations, and he hasn't been convicted of a criminal charge to date,

When you allow millions of people to flood into the country illegally, it's not surprising when some of them engage in identity theft and other illegal means to obtain illegitimate employment. The latest example comes to us from, of all places, Omaha, Nebraska, where U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) rounded up a bunch of illegal aliens from Glenn Valley Foods. One of the illegal aliens attacked an officer; ICE notes that the number of such assaults is increasing.
Nationwide, assaults on ICE officers are up 413%, The Center Square reported. Targeted worksite enforcement actions are also up, with a record more than 1,000 worksite enforcement actions

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) blew up the latest attempt by the legacy media to lie about ICE raids, calling out KTLA for reporting that the agency was targeting "a pregnant LA county mother."
In the post on Friday on X, the DHS responded to the LA market's report about the Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid and headline that read "DHS Secretary Kristi Noem attends ICE raid at home of pregnant L.A. County mother."
"FAKE NEWS. At this house was an illegal alien from Mexico who had previously been deported," the DHS post read. "His criminal history includes drug trafficking and assault. ICE had a warrant for his arrest."

Police Chief Jim McDonnell was seemingly taken aback when a Los Angeles City Council member asked him if he would commit to notifying city officials about knowledge of upcoming raids so they, in turn, could inform the "immigrant community."
And by "immigrant community," she means the criminal illegal aliens being targeted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The brazen request came from Councilwoman Imelda Padilla (D-LA's 6th District) at a meeting earlier this week to discuss the LAPD's handling of protests against President Trump's immigration enforcement efforts.

On Wednesday, a massive raid by law enforcement on a house in Arizona uncovered an illegal alien cartel member hiding, along with a pile of drugs and several guns. It would have gone off much more smoothly, except that the raid caught the attention of some local nincompoops who thought an ICE raid was in progress, leading them to start a protest.
Pinal County Sheriff Ross Teeple properly identified the protesters as "idiots."
They should have put this protest on ice.

On Friday, House Oversight Committee James Comer (R-KY) alerted Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) he is looking to investigate the LA riots. The Department of Justice (DOJ) also received a letter, according to Fox News. The letters taking issue with California's immigration policies were also signed by Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), who chairs the Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement.
Bass and Newsom have had particularly horrific takes on the anti-ICE, pro-illegal immigration, and even pro-terrorist riots in Los Angeles. [Tweets]

Things spiraled out of control Thursday night at the Delaney Hall ICE facility in Newark, N.J. And if that name sounds familiar, there’s a reason. Just last month, the same facility was the site of another showdown, when far-left Rep. LaMonica McIver, joined by fellow House Democrats Bonnie Watson Coleman and Rob Menendez, tried to storm the place alongside Newark’s radical mayor, Ras Baraka.
Baraka was promptly arrested and charged with trespassing — though the charges were later dropped — but that wasn’t the end of it. Things got physical fast. According to DHS officials, at least one ICE agent was assaulted during the confrontation, an incident caught on body cam.

During a jaw-dropping discussion at the Center for American Progress, Gov. Tim Walz, the failed vice-presidential pick on Kamala Harris’s losing 2024 ticket, openly suggested that communist China might be better suited to lead global diplomacy than the United States.
Let that sink in.
Neera Tanden asked Walz for his thoughts on the rapidly escalating conflict between Israel and Iran. After rambling about the “situation in Gaza” and lamenting how it “became a central focus in the campaign,” Walz pivoted into full China-apologist mode.
“I was there during the debates, and I voted for the Iran nuclear deal,” Walz said proudly.

We now have more information on how the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles are being funded, thanks to a new report.
Federal authorities have already indicated they are investigating the source of the funding the rioters and protesters have received. But a Fox News report appears to confirm what many have already speculated: Someone is pouring oodles of cash into these operations.
Crowds on Demand, a California-based company that specializes in providing on-demand crowds for protests, told Fox News Digital it received "numerous high budget requests" to get involved with the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles and other cities but declined to participate.

What a difference a few hours makes. Just when California Governor Gavin Newsom thought he had scored a political victory against President Trump, reality came crashing down courtesy of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
On Thursday night, Clinton-appointed Judge Charles B. Breyer handed Newsom what appeared to be an early Christmas present, ordering Trump to return control of the California National Guard to the Golden State's governor. Breyer claimed Trump's federalization of the Guard was "illegal" and violated both statutory authority and the Tenth Amendment.

Video shows federal agents ramming a car in Los Angeles to catch an accused rioter who authorities say punched a U.S. border agent.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a video on Wednesday showing agents arresting Christian Damian Cerno-Camacho, a U.S. citizen who allegedly assaulted an officer during the anti-ICE riots and tried to flee.
“This was no hit and run. This was a targeted arrest of a violent rioter who punched a CBP officer. When Homeland Security Investigations tried to arrest Christian Damian Cerno-Camacho for the assault, he attempted to flee. He was ultimately arrested and taken into custody,” DHS said in a post

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem landed in riot-scarred Los Angeles on Thursday and immediately put the nation on notice: the IRS is now involved, and the hunt for the financial backers of violent unrest has officially begun.
Noem, flanked by law enforcement and federal officials, announced that the Internal Revenue Service has been deployed to trace the money behind the chaos — including potential funding from radical NGOs, militant unions, and other shadowy groups.
“We also have the IRS here, helping us track how these violent protesters are funded—what NGOs are out there, what unions, what other individuals may be funding these violent perpetrators who infiltrate protests,” Noem said during the press conference.
