Not a day seems to go by without some activist lower court judge issuing an overreaching injunction blocking part of President Trump’s agenda.
Throughout Wednesday and Thursday alone, judges across multiple venues handed down decrees barring numerous executive actions taken by the president since returning to office. From DEI to election policy, these cases are but a few of the more than 170 lawsuits Democrats and left-wing political actors have filed to sabotage Trump and the 77 million Americans who voted for him.
Despite this clear effort to destroy American democracy via a judicial coup, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) seems to have no interest in stopping it

The ‘‘No Rogue Rulings Act” has been approved by Congress. Will it die in the Senate?

People should realize that Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is a political chameleon that despises DJT and will go to great lengths(or lack of) to insure his failure. Roberts has drank from the Cup Of Power and met new "friends" on the Dark Side. His inaction is a sign of giving a thumbs up to the activist black robes that he adores. Your enjoyable swimming and diving with the Deep Swamp creatures resonates.

Two things are needed: Trump needs to disobey the judges until the SC fixes this - and the filibuster needs to end now.

It's no longer even arguable...the Supreme Court is a collaborating co-conspirator with the activist judges and the Democrat Party to deny the legally elected President of his authority to exercise his executive powers as explicitly set forth in Article II of the U.S. Constitution. We are witnessing an insurrection of the entire judicial branch of the government.

It is looking increasingly likely, perhaps obvious, that much of the supreme court has gone to the "dark side", as comment 2 suggests. Thankfully Lucianne posters mostly cling to what was once recognized as Sanity.

Roberts is destroying the Judicial Branch. He claims to rate the Judicial Branch highly, yet is letting these lunatic judges destroy the credibility of the his "beloved" courts.
Suicidal.

To an outsider who has been paying attention, along with throwing in a bucket load of common sense, the Supreme Court looks pretty cowardly these days!

just curious about what would happen if a judge from podunk Idaho declared that abortions are illegal and all abortionists must be arrested for murder? Think that would wake up the Supreme Court?

The SCOTUS has become a disgrace. Lower court justices have exceeded their authority and the Supreme Court has done nothing. By doing nothing they have allowed the activist judges to run wild obstructing the elected federal government. The obstruction is trashing the US Constitution.

While I am in agreement that the actions of the SCOTUS are defying the will of the voters, that is not my key concern. The will of the voters can LEGITIMATELY be denied in service of the Constitution. However, that is not the case here.
The SCOTUS and the lower courts are breaking the Constitutional duty of the Judiciary. The actions that the courts are taking are outside their purview according to the Constitution. Such actions are the sole domain of the Chief Executive, for many good and well documented reasons. The President cannot run the country with the courts continually interfering with his actions.
In addition, district judges do NOT have the legal standing to issue nationwide orders. They can order things for their district, no more. Only if the issue reaches the SCOTUS can a nationwide order be issued. This aberration is allowing the Left to venue shop liberal judges to get the decisions they want and then, illegally, apply it nationally.
Both of these considerations make a mockery of the judicial system and THAT is something that could be very dangerous to a portion of the government, the judiciary, whose power is lies significantly in the hands of the other branches of the government and the public. If the public loses respect for the judiciary, there will not be any pushback if the judiciary is held to task. The Congress establishes and orders all courts below the SCOTUS. If a stronger Republican Congress were in place, there could be significant changes made to the lower courts. And, if the SCOTUS makes a ruling, it depends on the Executive to enforce it. If the SCOTUS debases itself, the Executive might leave some of the enforcement cooling off the stove and the public might not care all that much.
The courts should not be in politics and, right now, it is clear that they are. They need to be slapped down for it.

Why are people surprised by the actions of the Supreme Court concerning activist's judges. This is the same Supreme Court that would not even look into the massive fraud of the 2020 election despite tons of evidence. Let's be honest, this Supreme Court is part of the deep state and is no different than the activist judges impending Trump's agenda.

I am deeply concerned that the federal judges of Washington, D.C. are approved by the Washington mayor, Washington council, etc. and then they are allowed to make national wide decisions.
