Current, former USAID employees sue Musk,

Current and former employees of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) sued Elon Musk and his cost-cutting operation, levying the novel argument that the world’s richest man should have been confirmed by the Senate before wielding such enormous power. The Trump administration, Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) have moved in recent weeks to stanch the flow of foreign aid, dismantle the agency responsible for administering it and dismiss thousands of people working for the agency at home and abroad.

The office, now called DOGE, was initially called The United States Digital Service. It was created during President Barack Obama's administration in 20144. Its initial purpose was to improve the federal government's digital capabilities, particularly after issues with the HealthCare.gov website launch. It continued to function under both the Trump and Biden administrations as part of the Office of Management and Budget. When Trump took office in 2025, he repurposed and rebranded the USDS into DOGE, giving it a new mission and leadership.

Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) Doug Collins confirmed that the Biden administration’s VA diverted “manpower” away from Veteran Care (VC) to help illegal migrants obtain health care. In an interview with Andrew Wilkow of the Wilkow Majority on SiriusXM Patriot, the new VA secretary revealed that after stepping into the role earlier this month he found instances of time being used to “process health applications and stuff” for illegals: “Did the VA, under the previous administration, move resources away from Veteran Care into benefits for illegals… Did it happen, or are we going to look into it?” Wilkow asked Collins,

Brigitte Gabriel, a survivor of terrorism and a legal immigrant to America, wants the Trump administration to shut down the corrupt Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). Gabriel, founder and chair of ACT for America, emphasized that the ORR was transformed by Barack Obama and Joe Biden into federal assistance for illegal aliens to game our system to their benefit. As long as you claimed to be a “refugee,” you could be sure of plenty of assistance in obtaining significant amounts of American taxpayer money. That, Gabriel emphasized, needs to end immediately. The ORR’s government website provides the following word salad, saying it “promotes the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied

On Monday, Costa Rica announced that it would also play a role in U.S. deportation plans.

The US Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration terminated the approval of the controversial program, according to a letter Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent to Hochul on Wednesday afternoon.

The Department of Government Efficiency has yet to begin its most important task: fulfilling President Trump’s promise to move 100,000 federal employees out of Washington, DC. This would build on the president’s first-term efforts to relocate agencies. While the savings could be enormous, the biggest benefit would be restoring much-needed ideological balance to the vast federal bureaucracy. It’s further to the left than the most liberal parts of the country and hostile to policies that don’t reflect its bias. Making the administrative state more representative of America would make it more accountable to the American people and the president we elect. Virtually everyone knows the federal government leans left,

When authorities found Stephen Marroquin-Mendez, the Salvadoran illegal immigrant was stuffed inside a cabinet in the cab of a semi truck, latched from the outside so he couldn’t have freed himself. He told Homeland Security agents last week he’d already paid $8,500 to be floated across the Rio Grande and into Texas, owed $8,500 more once he reached Houston and would then head to Virginia, where he was to meet up with an aunt already living there. His eye-popping $17,000 price tag has become standard under President Trump, as smuggling cartels adapt to the border shutdown by raising the prices they charge illegal immigrants.

The Biden administration spent tens of billions of dollars on grants to migrants and refugees through one of its government agencies, including over $10 billion in just one year, according to a new watchdog report. The watchdog group Open the Books looked at grants to nonprofits awarded by the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Refugee Resettlement. Its responsibilities include caring for unaccompanied migrant children who crossed the southern border illegally and refugees entering legally. The watchdog found that in FY 2021, it distributed $2.4 billion in grants to nonprofits. In FY 2022, it distributed $3.4 billion, then that number skyrocketed up to $10 billion in FY 2023

The president noted that the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 (PRWORA) ostensibly prohibits illegal immigrants from obtaining most taxpayer-funded benefits, but he argued that in the decades since its passage “numerous administrations have acted to undermine the principles and limitations directed by the Congress.”
