More than 65,000 federal workers have reportedly accepted the Trump administration’s buyout offer as a federal judge is expected to weigh in on the matter Monday.
Last week, the figure appeared to top out at around 40,000 federal workers accepting the offer from the Trump administration — to either quit their government job willingly with extended pay and benefits or stay and risk downsizing anyway.“If you resign under this program, you will retain all pay and benefits regardless of your daily workload and will be exempted from all applicable in-person work requirements until September 30, 2025 (or earlier if you choose to accelerate your resignation for any reason),”

On Sunday, a man of the cloth used the pulpit to issue a sick call of violence against his fellow man.
Dr. Steve Caudle, a pastor at Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, gave his weekly sermon to congregants who gathered to worship God. But Caudle had a few other things on his mind beyond spreading the Gospel.
After a brief talk regarding the Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, Caudle then turned his attention to his scripture lesson called “The Violent Kingdom.” He decided to use the Scripture of Matthew to blast the Trump Administration and DOGE.

“Sometimes the Devil will act so ugly that you have no other choice but to get violent and fight."
Those are the chilling words of a senior pastor at Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church of Chattanooga, Tennessee, during a Sunday School morning service. The pastor, Reverend Dr. Steve A. Caudle, likened Elon Musk, President Donald Trump's head of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to the Devil, as he spewed lie after lie about DOGE — and appeared to urge people to "get violent and fight." How pastoral. (X Video)

WASHINGTON — President Trump is expected to pardon former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich as early as Monday — as he considers nominating the disgraced Democrat to be US ambassador to Serbia, The Post has learned.
Trump commuted Blagojevich’s 14-year sentence on federal corruption charges in February 2020, but did not issue a full pardon at the time.
Blagojevich, 68, was convicted of 17 counts of corruption in 2011 involving handing out political favors in exchange for financial benefits, including trying to solicit campaign money in return for an appointment to Barack Obama’s Senate seat following his 2008 election to the presidency. (Photo)

President Donald Trump is challenging a federal court ruling barring members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing the Treasury Department’s payment and data systems. This development comes after U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer slapped a preliminary injunction on the Trump administration after 19 Democratic attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the president.
The Trump administration made a filing on Sunday arguing that the injunction infringes on the president’s “absolute powers over the executive branch,” The New York Times reported.

Elon Musk reported early Monday morning that FEMA sent $59 million just last week to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants.
According to Musk, sending this money to these high-end hotels violated the law. This directly interferes with President Trump’s executive order.
And why is FEMA paying for illegal alien housing when they ignore Americans suffering and living in tents in places like North Carolina?
FEMA funds are meant for American disaster relief and not to fund Joe Biden’s invasion.

Paris—JD Vance is stepping onto the world stage for the first time as U.S. vice president this week, using a high-profile artificial intelligence summit in France and a gathering of national security leaders in Germany to showcase Donald Trump’s more assertive approach to diplomacy.
The 40-year-old vice president, who was just 18 months into his tenure as a senator before joining Trump’s ticket, is expected, while in Paris, to push back on European efforts to tighten AI oversight while advocating for a more open, innovation-driven approach.
The AI summit has drawn world leaders, top tech executives, and policymakers to discuss artificial intelligence’s impact

The Department of Homeland Security has a leak problem. We have traitors at the agency, saboteurs who must be exposed, fired, and then raked over the coals. This marks the second time an ICE raid has been revealed to the public. An ICE raid in Aurora, Colorado, was leaked last week. Now, the Los Angeles Times reveals another operation for the city of Angels is in the works, with the sensitive documents to prove it (via LA Times): (X) Even before the Trump administration came to power, there were already U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement “raids”

President Donald Trump announced he had instructed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to have the Treasury Department stop making new pennies, explaining that it costs more than two cents to make them.
“For far too long the United States has minted pennies which literally cost us more than 2 cents,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “This is so wasteful! I have instructed my Secretary of the US Treasury to stop producing new pennies. Let’s rip the waste out of our great nations budget, even if it’s a penny at a time.” (Truth, X) CBS News reported that the cost of making the penny has been “an issue that has

If you spend a lot of your time reading the mainstream press, you’ll know that Donald Trump is doing a terrible job, he’s rushing this country into fascism, Elon Musk wants to take over the world, and the president’s Cabinet picks are all dangers to Democracy, each and every one of them.Apparently a lot of Americans aren’t paying attention, though, because a new CBS/YouGov poll shows that a majority of Americans are pleased with how things are going in only his first 20 days in office.
It was extra delightful to watch Margaret Brennan, who is the host of CBS News’ “Face the Nation” and who has been routinely embarrassed

Eagles fans in Philadelphia were in true form following their team’s 40-22 win over the Chiefs to win Super Bowl 2025.
Hundreds of fans flocked to the city’s Broad Street to celebrate the franchise’s second Super Bowl title.
After the city decided to not grease the poles in the area, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, some decided to climb them, including one who sat atop a traffic light on the corner of Broad Street and Pine Street. (Videos)
Fans shot fireworks into the air and popped champagne. Others joined together to jump on top of and destroy a police van.
Some found a garbage truck to get on top of.

Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA), notorious for his endless witch hunts and conspiracy theories, had the gall to lecture Vice President J.D. Vance on the sanctity of the rule of law while simultaneously applauding Joe Biden’s blatant disregard for a Supreme Court decision.
This comes after Vance highlighted the dangers of judicial overreach into executive duties, an analogy drawn from his own military and legal expertise after an Obama-appointed judge blocked the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing a crucial Treasury payment system.
“If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal.
