For 300 Years, a Jewish Kingdom Flourished

An independent Jewish kingdom was said to have once existed in today's Ethiopia. An Israeli archaeologist heard the tales of heroism surrounding Beta Israel and decided he would be the one to find it. In the heart of the Simien Mountains in northern Ethiopia, on the slopes of a steep hill, stands the village of Segenet. An immense cliff looms above, an abyss yawns below. Life here is made possible by the existence of a broad plateau on the hillside, where the farmers grow their crops, suspended between heaven and earth.

Told you so. The U.S. and NATO have been lying about what is actually taking place on the ground in Ukraine. For those not familiar with my early writings on the actual situation, go back a look at my previous articles written in March– Is Russia on the Ropes in Ukraine? and Update on the Military Situation in Ukraine. NBC News, not known as a pro-Putin media outlet, published this bombshell this week:

The BRICS alliance is a strategic geopolitical partnership between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The nature of the alliance is based on trade and big picture economics. Readers, familiar our discussions of trade and international finance, will remember the importance we previously discussed with BRICS after the 2016 election and President Trump representing economic nationalism for the first time in several generations. In this outline, we are going to share the bigger picture of why BRICS should now be back on the center stage of focus for Americans.  CORRECTION*

A Norfolk doctor who believes Covid-19 patients at Sentara hospitals are dying unnecessarily because the healthcare system has banned the use of certain medicines on them has filed a lawsuit seeking to end the prohibition. Dr. Paul Marik, a critical care specialist who gained international attention in 2017 for an unconventional sepsis treatment he came up with, filed his injunction request last week in Norfolk Circuit Court. Marik argues Sentara Healthcare is endangering the lives of its Covid patients by preventing doctors from using a treatment protocol developed by him and several other critical care specialists across the country.

Ajudge ordered Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital last week to give a Covid-19 patient an experimental treatment, and her family and attorneys say they believe that saved 80-year-old Judith Smentkiewicz's life. The drug Ivermectin – a pill sometimes used to treat children with head lice or to rid dogs and cats of worms – is not yet approved by the federal government for use against Covid-19. But Smentkiewicz's son and daughter call it “a miracle drug” in their court papers.

Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President-elect Donald Trump wanted to use the U.S. military against him. Host Jake Tapper said, “President-elect Trump repeatedly called you the enemy from within. You and Speaker Pelosi specifically. And he said this about his enemies from within. Take a listen. On Fox News, Trump said, “I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics, and I think they’re the and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or if really necessary, by the military

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that “America deserves better” than President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks. Host Kristen Welker said, “I want to ask you now about that report that the House Ethics committee was set to vote on to release into former Congressman Matt Gaetz, of course, President-elect Trump’s pick to be the next attorney general. Speaker Johnson is now saying that the report should not be released. What’s your reaction to what Speaker Johnson is saying?” Jeffries said, “Of course, it should be released. And that’s not just Democrats saying that. You have repeatedly seen Senate Republicans

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse. Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough. Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump. She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice. She’s finished.

Pritzker used Transgender Awareness Week — November 12 to 19 — as a platform to showboat over the issue, Fox News reported “This Transgender Awareness Week, I want you to know that I see you and have your back as governor,” Pritzker wrote on X. “Illinois has enshrined protections for gender-affirming care to meet this moment — and because of that, you will have a home here always.”

Sarah Palin appears to be venting her frustration over not receiving one of Donald Trump's coveted cabinet spots after supporting the President-elect throughout his campaign. The former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users who were questioning why she had not been drafted into his Cabinet.

Leftwing “Morning Joe” hosts and vicious Donald Trump critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski revealed Monday they had a “personal” sit-down with the president-elect in Florida to “restart communications” — after conceding that voters overwhelmingly made their choice. The MSNBC co-hosts, who have repeatedly bashed the Republican on-air over the years, said they had a face-to-face with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Friday — their first meeting in seven years — after reaching out in the wake of his election win. “Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.

President Biden has reportedly given Ukraine permission to deploy US-supplied longe-range missiles to attack targets in Russian territory just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. Ukraine said it plans to take advantage of the policy change within days. The dramatic shift in policy comes as Ukraine has faced setbacks on the battlefield and after months of requests by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine’s military to use US weapons to hit Russian military targets far from its border. Trump had pledged that he will end the war once he takes office in January. “As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who

The one person who knew that the Joe Biden presidency was something other than “Obama’s third term” was Barack Obama. If Obama had any illusions about his control over events, he was rudely disabused of them on July 21, 2024. This was the Sunday on which Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris. The announcements caught Obama flatfooted. Biden had not consulted with his former boss either on his decision to drop out nor on his decision to endorse Harris. At 12:46 p.m. EDT, Biden posted on X his intention to withdraw.

PITTSBURGH and BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Democratic county officials admit they are breaking the law to overturn Pennsylvania’s Senate election for losing Sen. Bob Casey. “I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country,” said Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, who voted Thursday to count deficient provisional ballots a Pennsylvania Supreme Court order barred, in which voters did not sign in one of two necessary boxes. “People violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.”

President Biden has given the OK to lift restrictions that will allow Ukraine to use U.S.-provided long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory, a U.S. official confirmed to CBS News on Sunday. The move is a significant change to U.S. policy in the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict. The easing of restrictions would allow Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, to hit targets inside Russia. The move also comes as some 10,000 North Korean troops were sent to Kursk near Ukraine's northern border to help Russian forces retake territory. The White House National Security Council declined to
