Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that President-elect Donald Trump wanted to use the U.S. military against him.
Host Jake Tapper said, “President-elect Trump repeatedly called you the enemy from within. You and Speaker Pelosi specifically. And he said this about his enemies from within. Take a listen. On Fox News, Trump said, “I think the bigger problem are the people from within. We have some very bad people. We have some sick people, radical left lunatics, and I think they’re the and it should be very easily handled by, if necessary, by National Guard or if really necessary, by the military

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that “America deserves better” than President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks.
Host Kristen Welker said, “I want to ask you now about that report that the House Ethics committee was set to vote on to release into former Congressman Matt Gaetz, of course, President-elect Trump’s pick to be the next attorney general. Speaker Johnson is now saying that the report should not be released. What’s your reaction to what Speaker Johnson is saying?”
Jeffries said, “Of course, it should be released. And that’s not just Democrats saying that. You have repeatedly seen Senate Republicans

It’s high time to shatter the myth of Nancy Pelosi as a master strategist. Nobody deserves more blame than the ridiculously self-titled “speaker emerita” for the Democrats’ $1 billion electoral collapse.
Under her ruthless leadership, her party lost the White House, the House, the Senate and the popular vote. You can’t say that enough.
Voters rejected the Dems coast to coast, even in Pelosi’s deepest-blue home city of San Francisco, which saw a 7-point swing to Donald Trump.
She’s the only speaker in history to have lost control of the House twice.
She’s finished.

Gov. JB Pritzker (D-IL) pledged to launch a campaign to boost radical sex change procedures in his state in response to Donald Trump’s landslide election.
Pritzker used Transgender Awareness Week — November 12 to 19 — as a platform to showboat over the issue, Fox News reported
“This Transgender Awareness Week, I want you to know that I see you and have your back as governor,” Pritzker wrote on X. “Illinois has enshrined protections for gender-affirming care to meet this moment — and because of that, you will have a home here always.”

Sarah Palin appears to be venting her frustration over not receiving one of Donald Trump's coveted cabinet spots after supporting the President-elect throughout his campaign.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users who were questioning why she had not been drafted into his Cabinet.

Leftwing “Morning Joe” hosts and vicious Donald Trump critics Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski revealed Monday they had a “personal” sit-down with the president-elect in Florida to “restart communications” — after conceding that voters overwhelmingly made their choice.
The MSNBC co-hosts, who have repeatedly bashed the Republican on-air over the years, said they had a face-to-face with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Friday — their first meeting in seven years — after reaching out in the wake of his election win.
“Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country.

President Biden has reportedly given Ukraine permission to deploy US-supplied longe-range missiles to attack targets in Russian territory just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump takes office.
Ukraine said it plans to take advantage of the policy change within days.
The dramatic shift in policy comes as Ukraine has faced setbacks on the battlefield and after months of requests by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to allow Ukraine’s military to use US weapons to hit Russian military targets far from its border.
Trump had pledged that he will end the war once he takes office in January.
“As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who

The one person who knew that the Joe Biden presidency was something other than “Obama’s third term” was Barack Obama. If Obama had any illusions about his control over events, he was rudely disabused of them on July 21, 2024. This was the Sunday on which Biden dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris.
The announcements caught Obama flatfooted. Biden had not consulted with his former boss either on his decision to drop out nor on his decision to endorse Harris. At 12:46 p.m. EDT, Biden posted on X his intention to withdraw.

Senator-elect Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that he did not overstate President-elect Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.
Host Jake Tapper said, “I’m looking at these nominees, Tulsi Gabbard to be director of National Intelligence possibly Kash Patel to be head of the FBI. Gaetz at DOJ, RFK Jr. at HHS and others and obviously he is bringing a group of people to disrupt. I mean, that is what Speaker Johnson said. I’m wondering about how much anybody in Washington is is being introspective at all about why there is this kind of opening for disruptors, if not necessarily these individuals.

PITTSBURGH and BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Democratic county officials admit they are breaking the law to overturn Pennsylvania’s Senate election for losing Sen. Bob Casey.
“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country,” said Bucks County Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia, who voted Thursday to count deficient provisional ballots a Pennsylvania Supreme Court order barred, in which voters did not sign in one of two necessary boxes.
“People violate laws any time they want,” Ellis-Marseglia said. “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention. There’s nothing more important than counting votes.”

President Biden has given the OK to lift restrictions that will allow Ukraine to use U.S.-provided long-range weapons to strike deep into Russian territory, a U.S. official confirmed to CBS News on Sunday. The move is a significant change to U.S. policy in the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict. The easing of restrictions would allow Kyiv to use the Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, to hit targets inside Russia. The move also comes as some 10,000 North Korean troops were sent to Kursk near Ukraine's northern border to help Russian forces retake territory. The White House National Security Council declined to

Democratic lawmakers are admitting that they may have missed the mark in the 2024 election and are calling on their colleagues to stop 'preaching down' to Americans.
And Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (R-N.Y.) says that her party could learn a thing-or-two from Republicans after their sweeping wins this election cycle that will see the GOP with a trifecta in the House, Senate and White House next year.
Asked why Democrats lost, Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) said his party needs to stop 'canceling' people that might disagree with them on something.
