A Florida couple filmed themselves hunkering down in their bedroom with their adorable baby donkey and a slew of other animals overnight as they braced for Hurricane Milton.
Sara Weldon and her husband Rick Bass opted to try and ride out the hurricane after refusing to evacuate their farm in Clermont, located in central Florida between Tampa and Orlando, as Milton ominously approached the Sunshine State’s coast.
“We are in the direct path of where this hurricane is supposed to hit. We’re not evacuating. And please, don’t ask me to,” a tearful Weldon said in one video about their hurricane prep.

In light of the overnight pummeling Florida took from Hurricane Milton, it is especially important to point out how egregiously despicable Vice President Kamala Harris' politicization of this storm and the aftermath of Hurricane Helene's hit on the Sunshine State actually was.It all started after NBC News broke an anonymously sourced story Monday claiming without evidence that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis "refused" to take the Democrat presidential nominee's call after Helene hit the state two weeks ago.
CNN host Anderson Cooper experienced the the storm’s wrath firsthand.
Cooper was drilled in the face with flying debris as he gave a live report in the midst of the powerful winds brought on by Hurricane Milton Wednesday night.
