Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is encouraging residents to report so-called “misinformation” from their neighbors ahead of November’s election.
“Misinformation about the election process, voter rights, or even an issue on the ballot is a serious threat to election security,” reads an online document from Benson’s office. “If you see misleading or inaccurate information regarding voting or elections in Michigan, please report it.”
The document requests residents email reports of election “misinformation” – with “an image if possible” – to misinformation@michigan.gov.

"Even among the most extreme Democratic secretaries of state, Michigan’s Jocelyn Benson stands out. A former employee of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center and Democratic National Committee, Benson’s a committed Democratic activist. And as Michigan’s secretary of state during the chaotic 2020 presidential election, Benson played a key role in making last-minute changes to election law to bolster Democratic voter turnout and swing Michigan in then-candidate Joe Biden’s favor. When a $12 million grant from Mark Zuckerberg — “Zuckbucks” — was funneled to Michigan through the left-wing Center for Election Innovation and Research"

Ms. Benson went on to say, "For example, if you hear someone talk about Kamala Harris being the "border czar", please report it and we will make sure that person is silenced."

Well, okay, if you insist, Jocelyn. Election misinformation has been disseminated by one Kamala Harris. She has lied about the Democratic candidate's past. She insists that the candidate never set loose murders and rapists in California. She told the lie that the candidate has not supported the destruction of our borders. She insists that the candidate does not see criminals as victims in this society. Much more misinformation originates with this woman, arrest her.

And these are the very same people and political party that said Republicans were going to destroy Democracy!!
Now they propose to silence persons who say something they disagree with about elections.
These are anti-American Communists through and through. Since Democrats ALWAYS blame others for that which they are doing, or about to do, when they said Republicans were going to destroy democracy, we should have known that were setting in place plans to do just that!
So many now in critical places in our various governments that it will likely be impossible to vote them out. OTHER actions will be necessary.

Isn't this the type of action the NAZI's used?
And how authoritarian and communist countries keep "order"?
Certainly not honoring the First Amendment and likely violating people's Rights.
The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. It prohibits any laws that establish a national religion, impede the free exercise of religion, abridge the freedom of speech, infringe upon the freedom of the press, interfere with the right to peaceably assemble, or prohibit citizens from petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances. It was adopted into the Bill of Rights in 1791. The Supreme Court interprets the extent of the protection afforded to these rights. The First Amendment has been interpreted by the Court as applying to the entire federal government even though it is only expressly applicable to Congress. Furthermore, the Court has interpreted the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment as protecting the rights in the First Amendment from interference by state governments.
Freedom of Speech / Freedom of the Press
The most basic component of freedom of expression is the right to freedom of speech. Freedom of speech may be exercised in a direct (words) or a symbolic (actions) way. Freedom of speech is recognized as a human right under article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The right to freedom of speech allows individuals to express themselves without government interference or regulation. The Supreme Court requires the government to provide substantial justification for interference with the right of free speech when it attempts to regulate the content of the speech. Generally, a person cannot be held liable, either criminally or civilly for anything written or spoken about a person or topic, so long as it is truthful or based on an honest opinion and such statements.

The most influential election misinformation source will be the "AI" code now built into almost every bit of programmed tech, including our "smart" phones. The same high tech censorship from last time that was later deemed manipulative and misleading will be automated this time, and not even require a human to flag things for removal. Lying Pols have to lie, and for some reason Dems have developed it into a passion and an art.
