FOX News contributor Jonathan Turley told "America’s Newsroom" on Thursday that the "glaring issue" in the Hunter Biden case is how the Department of Justice allowed early potential tax felonies against the first son to expire. The George Washington University law professor questioned why Special Counsel David Weiss, who is investigating Hunter Biden’s possible misconduct, would allow the statute of limitations to run out during an investigation. JONATHAN TURLEY: Well, things are going poorly, I think, for the Biden team. Obviously, this was not a great week. The impeachment inquiry is indeed that — it's an inquiry.

It's not rocket science Turley. It's JRB's DOJ in inaction. There's no way Hunter will be living in Leavenworth any time soon. IOWs, the fix is in, Turley, the fix is in.

It seems obvious, they're all on "the take". These Oligarchs (Dems, but they are of all Parties) are like mafia dons: they pay people off. These payoffs could be money, property, could be admissions to tony prep schools and/ or universities, or very lucrative entry level jobs, including Government positions. And then, these people have become obligated to their new Minders/owners/masters. If they value their kneecaps, they'll obey "omerta."
The grift grows and expands in greedy tumescence. Nothing else matters except having the power needed to keep the money rolling in. Money, huge wealth, opulence beyond imagination, and power exist together and thrive in an environment of corruption.

Is Turley really this naive? Or is this his role in the Kabuki Theater?

What's explicable about it? We all know the DOJ is totally corrupt. I bet they refuse to jail Sonny Boy for avoiding to show up for the Sopena.

Word on the street is that Joe is angry with Merrick for charging Hunter with real crimes.
Perhaps Garland is finally worried about how his DOJ is perceived by the voters.

'inexplicable,' ?
No, the proper word is 'CORRUPT'!
Well, 'CROOKED' would also be suitable.
Don't even try to hide it, you're just digging yourself a deeper hole.
