Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made it clear where he stands in the 2024 presidential race. On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” DeSantis was asked whether he would consider joining a Donald Trump ticket as vice president if Donald Trump asked him. His answer was unequivocal: “No, I’m running for president.” The question posed by host Maria Bartiromo emerged from recent comments by Trump concerning the potential candidates for his 2024 Republican vice president candidate. Speaking in Detroit on Wednesday, the former president said, “They’re all job candidates. They’ll do anything, secretary of something. They even say VP. I don’t know. Does anybody see

The most diisgisting was when he repeatedly accused PDJT of hiding, not campaigning and letting voters know what his policies and plans are, of not having contact with the voters. Is this bozo kidding? We KNOW what President Trump can do. And who mixes more freely with the voters than PDJT? Meanwhile DeS is known for being "aloof", not enjoying campaigning, and disliking it when people get close to him. I am aghast that I ever thought he had possibilities...

# 4, Trump IS hiding - behind surefire friendly rallies which do MOTHING to improve his prospects for election. And so DeSantis may be a bit aloof - so what? This Florida conservative can attest that he is no Bozo, but a smart cookie. He understands Trump's mistakes and if he becomes president will avoid them. Of course, he could never be elected if petulant crybabies decide to stay home "on principle". Your call. And BTW - you might check out the Florida gubernatorial election results from last fall. If you think Govenor DeSantis is in disrepute here in FL, think again.

Another reason this is odd is that DeSantis said this back in the winter. It isn't that Trump is the problem; DeSantis said at the time he wouldn't consider Vice President under any circumstance. I believe him. He doesn't want 2nd place. Cue the music: Love Me or Leave Me.

Premature. Statements like this are very premature. The election is still over a year away. Who knows what will happen between now and then? Candidates should not allow themselves to be lured into answering questions like this. They are being trolled by the Sunday talking heads.

The Biden administration will resume deporting Venezuelans in another stark reversal on migration policy - as staunch Democrat Rep. Ocasio-Cortez shamed President Joe Biden and urged him to 'reverse course' after he launched new stretches of border barriers, a signature policy of Donald Trump that Biden previously decried. Trump-era legislation brought in by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017 made sweeping changes to the tax landscape. This included lowering individual income tax rates, almost doubling the standard deduction and raising the federal estate tax exemption. Unless these rules are extended, they will expire on January 1, 2026, sparking major changes for millions of taxpayers across the US. Now is the time to plan ahead, experts warn,

Nothing focuses the minds of American voters more than an economy gone sour. As voters watch their chances of living the American dream dwindle — the price of homes, gas, cars, food, and other necessities skyrocketing; good-paying full-time jobs disappearing; and layoffs spreading throughout the economy — they just want to make the pain go away. And the easiest way for citizens to rid themselves of this pain is to vote out of power its perceived cause: the sitting president and his party.Americans forced out of office Herbert Hoover in 1932 because they blamed him for the Depression.
