IRS watchdog rips into Biden’s false
pledge that $80B would not be used to
audit average Americans

A new report has been issued by the official watchdog of the Internal Revenue Service unsurprisingly admitting that the $80 billion given to the IRS by the Biden administration potentially means more audits for average Americans. The watchdog claims the audits will occur if the IRS doesn’t take immediate action to prevent it and there is little indication they are inclined to do so. “Last year, the Inflation Reduction Act — which was not actually designed to reduce inflation — gave the IRS $80 billion in new funding. That funding would be used to hire 87,000 new agents over the next decade and to increase tax enforcement,” TheBlaze reported.

The IRS has already been auditing high earners. There is no other place to use the $80B than to go after the middle class.

The IRS is now auditing average Americans. Why not? The IRS is now armed to the teeth. Rich Americans have armies of accountants to go through. That's too much like real work. Nothing is scarier than a guy wearing a green eye shade and using a pocket protector that is carrying a gun that wants to audit your taxes.

The Republicans need to start right now having commercials on TV showing football stadiums full of people to get people to realize just what 87,000 IRS agents look like. Voiceover saying 'these IRS agents will be armed and they can legally check your tax returns for the past 6 years.'

As Willie Sutton said about robbing Banks: "that's where the money is." So too is auditing the middle class.

I'll believe it when I see it and then I'll have my doubts - anything this government does and says is contrary to what they said, originally - which is the case for totalitarian regimes and communist authoritarians

I worked for a small company which had to endure two back to back tax audits. FWIW, the auditor was one of the most ignorant individuals I’ve ever encountered. I had to explain the most basic money transfers to her (we had two offices) and it was like trying to explain trigonometry to a wombat. Bottom line - the IRS wasted everyone’s time and we owed nothing more.

Poster 4, you have a very good idea. Unfortunately, the GOP rarely runs effective ads, even when very low cost dems in their own words material is available. A principle reason for the weak advertising is that the Republican strategist and consultant class is pervaded with rinos. That’s why I never donate to the party. And am careful to read fine print in solicitations that feature prominent GOP candidates. Many times, those appeals for money are joint ventures between the candidate and the RNC.

Even amateur accountants at little mom and pop shops know where the IRS can conduct successful audits and that's by going after the people who do a small cash business or write off pencils as office equipment when they really bought them for their school age children. If you can't afford the expensive accountants and lawyers to fight them, you usually knuckle under and pay the extra tax. I hope they know what they are doing when they send armed, affirmative-action geeks to your front door. The average American thinks very little of the IRS already.

Offering dirt on Hunter FBI ‘mole’ 0 replies

Gal Luft, the fugitive “missing witness” of the Biden corruption investigation, has offered new evidence to the House impeachment inquiry about an FBI mole who tipped off Hunter Biden that his Chinese partners had been named on four sealed indictments in 2017 by Manhattan federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. The Israeli professor, and former Israel Defense Forces officer, has been on the run for six months, after skipping bail in Cyprus where he was awaiting extradition to the United States on gun-running and foreign-lobbying charges, also brought by the SDNY. In an open letter to Reps James Comer, Jim Jordan and Jason Smith, the three House committee chairmen

Independence, Mo.—It’s a Monday in September, but with schools closed, the three children in the Pruente household have nowhere to be. Callahan, 13, contorts herself into a backbend as 7-year-old Hudson fiddles with a balloon and 10-year-old Keegan plays the piano. Like a growing number of students around the U.S, the Pruente children are on a four-day school schedule, a change instituted this fall by their district in Independence, Missouri. To the kids, it’s terrific. “I have a three-day break of school!” exclaimed Hudson. But their mom, Brandi Pruente, who teaches French in a neighboring district in suburban Kansas City, is frustrated to find herself hunting for

Former President Donald Trump called on Senate Democrats to resign in light of the Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) corruption charges, saying they all knew. The former president issued his call from his Truth Social page on Sunday, asking why the FBI never raided Democrats’ homes like they did at Mar-a-Lago. “Senate Democrats should all resign based on Senator Bob Menendez! They all knew what was going on, and the way he lived. Why doesn’t the FBI raid Senate Democrat’s homes like they illegally raided Mar-a-Lago, where nothing was done wrong based on the Presidential Records Act,” he wrote.

"These ongoing and repeated constitutional violations at the University create a coercive environment that excludes those students who don’t subscribe to the Christian views being pushed onto players by their coaches,"

Average Americans are finding homes and cars increasingly unaffordable as inflation from high government spending raises prices and degrades purchasing power. Half of consumers are being priced out of the car market as the cost of a monthly car loan payment is far exceeding what an average American can afford, while the home affordability index has fallen from a 169.9 point average in 2020 to 87.8 points as of July, according to the National Association of Realtors. One key driver of the rising expenses is inflation, which peaked at 9.1% in June 2022 and is linked to high government spending under the Biden administration,

This litigation strikes me as this week’s most easily understood misuse of the law. The Department of Justice is suing Elon Musk for not hiring refugees to build advanced rocket technology.
