Just like in the past, this will be a means by which they stack the deck in favor of their anointed one and sabotage those who dont have RNC favor. A pledge to support the eventual nominee is meaningless; like a forced apology. McCain and Romney were eventual nominees. Whered that get us?

The only way we have a chance of a Republican president in 2025 is if all Republicans unite to support the eventual candidate. Donald Trump is actively campaigning against moderates, independents, and disaffected Democrats, those he calls Rinos. If he's not the candidate, will he support or actively undermine the party? That's a fair question.

Like any of this matters. Only one purpose units the Republican half of the UniParty. Remain in power at any cost. Remove the threat posed by a Trump anti central government candidate and the Pubbies will happily play the part of the loyal opposition. Prove me wrong...

So the RNC and Bushies and Paul Ryan can attack and block Trump and his supporters with multiple candidates and coordinated antiTrump articles, but Trump cannot respond because to do so offends Republican establishment chairfillers and other free shrimp and merlot party regulars. Got it.

Senator Tim Scott announced Saturday that he will be appearing on 'The View' on Monday, after speaking out against Joy Behar's claim that he doesn't understand racism. The African-American 2024 hopeful said he wanted the chance to respond to the claims. And it offers him a huge national stage to present himself as a different type of Republican candidate. But he may miss out on the chance to go head to head with Behar as Monday is generally her day off. 'I'm going on a view on Monday because I think it's time for a conservative with a backbone to look those ladies in the eyes

Washington— Democrats are deeply conflicted about the food aid requirements that President Joe Biden negotiated as part of the debt ceiling deal, fearing damage has been done to safety net programs that will be difficult to unravel in the years ahead as Republicans demand further cuts. Bargaining over toughening work requirements for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as food stamps, became the focal point for the White House and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., up until the end. Negotiators from both sides made clear, publicly and privately, that it was the biggest area of disagreemen

World leaders see a “weak” and “failing” president who has been incapable of leading, Sen. We’ve all seen it happen to our parents or grandparents, aunts and uncles,” he said, explaining that “they become very frail” and “mental aptitude goes down.”

It also prohibits state dollars from being used to fund such procedures for children.

Have you heard this one? A Republican president and a Democratic president walked off stage after commencement speeches at military colleges three years apart. The media coverage was a joke. Then: In 2020, then-President Donald Trump slowly descended a ramp at West Point in New York after taking a weird sip of water, and mainstream media pretended it was a national crisis. Over-one third of Democrats disagree with laws protecting children from “sex-change” surgery, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday found. The survey asked respondents if they approve or disapprove of legislation making it illegal to perform sex-change surgeries on minors. Overall, 62 percent at least somewhat approve of those laws, and of those, 46 percent “strongly” approve. Another 30 percent at least somewhat disapprove, but that figure is even higher among Democrats, specifically, as 35 percent at least somewhat disapprove of laws preventing children from mutilating their bodies in the name of “gender-affirmation.”

'We averted an economic crisis – an economic collapse,' Biden told the nation Friday night. 'Passing this budget agreement was critical,' Biden said, speaking in a low voice during the prime time broadcast. 'The stakes could not have been higher. If they had failed to reach an agreement on the budget, there were extreme voices threatening to take America for the first time in our 247 year history, in a default on our national debt.'
