Democrats, led by President Joe Biden, are making a big bet on Brandon Johnson.
They’re betting the Chicago that delegates and reporters pour into for their national presidential nominating convention in August 2024 will be helmed by a progressive, labor-friendly mayor whose policies are making the city a better place. They’re betting Johnson can help them tell a multicultural, multigenerational Democratic story that their geriatric presidential nominee can use as a springboard to energize young voters and win four more years in the White House.
And they’re betting their made-for-TV bash will go off without a hitch in a city that has a spotty record throwing these shindigs and a national reputation

This week “The Great One” Mark Levin mentioned the voter mule story that TGP broke in December 2022 after the Midterms. Multi-Millions are flowing into Democrat politicians’ coffers from unknown sources.
After the 2022 midterms, TGP reported on the $24 million flowing into Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock’s coffers during the election. This money came from unemployed individuals in hundreds of thousands of small donations from around the country.

The former director of strategic communications at the Southern New England branch of Planned Parenthood took his own life - five days after a botched police raid of his apartment building in connection with a child pornography investigation.
Investigators broke down the door of Tim Yergeau's neighbor in New Haven, Connecticut and handcuffed her before realizing they had raided the wrong apartment.
'The person who died was definitely the suspect in a child pornography investigation and the person who committed suicide,' New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson told the New Haven Register.

Friday on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich urged Republicans not to be portrayed as the “anti-Biden party.”
Instead, he urged it to be pro-America, given the events unfolding around the globe.“[I] would say that rather than focusing on Joe Biden, who clearly has very significant cognitive problems, and who has to rely on his son, who himself, Hunter, has all sorts of clouds over his head. But if you watch them, in Ireland, it was embarrassing how much President Biden had to rely on his son, just to seem semi-competent,”

INDIANAPOLIS – Conservative firebrand Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, declared Friday that he is "100% for President Trump" in the 2024 presidential election despite the ongoing legal issues facing the former president.
Speaking with Fox News Digital ahead of his speech to the National Rifle Association convention, Jordan argued Trump was the only president to do what he said he was going to do, and did so successfully despite the entire political establishment standing against him.
"No one has demonstrated that they will do what they said and get things done like he did, and he did it with everyone in that town against him. And that's what I still respect about

BERLIN—“Nuclear power, no thanks!”
What was once a slogan found on the bumper of many a German car became a reality Saturday, as the country shut down its three remaining nuclear power plants in line with a long-planned transition toward renewable energy.
The shutdown of Emsland, Neckarwestheim II and Isar II shortly before midnight was cheered earlier in the day by anti-nuclear campaigners outside the three reactors and at rallies in Berlin and Munich. Inside the plants, staff held more somber ceremonies to mark the occasion.
Decades of anti-nuclear protests in Germany, stoked by disasters at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima, had put pressure on successive governments to end the use of

Joe Biden on Friday delivered remarks to the people of County Mayo, Ireland.
Of course his speech was a total disaster.
Biden’s entire taxpayer-funded vacation to Ireland has been an embarrassment.Joe Biden lied to the Irish people about being a professor at UPenn.
Over the years Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed he was a professor at UPenn.
This is one of Joe Biden’s favorite lies.
Joe Biden is a legend in his own mind. Joe Biden was paid $1 million by UPenn but he never taught a single class.

A top Republican donor has rowed back on his support of Ron DeSantis due to the Florida governor's stance on abortion and book bans.
Hungarian-born billionaire Thomas Peterffy had previously said he was 'looking forward' to financing the 44-year-old lawmaker's probable White House bid.
But he told the Financial Times on Saturday that he and 'a bunch of friends are holding our powder dry' because of the governor's 'stance on abortion and book banning'.Earlier this week, DeSantis signed-off a new six week abortion ban in Florida worrying many centrist conservatives who see such draconian rules as vote losers. It now heads to the state's Supreme Court

The Anheuser-Busch CEO whose bid to quell the backlash over Bud Light’s Dylan Mulvaney debacle came off as flat as a beer left out in the sun was a CIA spy handler before heading up the brewing behemoth.
Brendan Whitworth formerly worked as an officer in the CIA’s counterterrorism center, where he recruited and handled intel informants before becoming a private-sector executive, according to The Official Board. Whitworth has been roundly blasted over his statement Friday in response to Bud Light’s controversial decision to partner with Mulvaney, a transgender activist and social media influencer.

Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, fresh off his allegations that the U.S. was behind the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, has published a report that alleged the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is aware of widespread corruption in Ukraine and the embezzlement of US aid.
Hersh’s report accuses the Ukrainian government of using U.S. taxpayer money to purchase diesel from Russia to fuel its military. He further suggested that Ukrainian officials are “competing” to set up front companies for export contracts to private arms dealers around the world.
