It is unclear who approved the decision to collaborate with Dylan Mulvaney for Bud Light’s marketing, but the backlash was immediate and intense. From country musicians to politicians, many publicly denounced Bud Light and launched boycotts. Kid Rock famously fired shots at cases of Bud Light to express his disapproval, while Travis Tritt eliminated Anheuser-Busch products from his tour hospitality rider. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene also switched from Bud Light to Coors Light. [Tweet] Many people noted that Coors is very much involved in “woke capitalism” and is not significantly different from Budweiser in that regard. In fact, according to an analysis from Newsweek, half of the top-selling beers

Bud Light, Coors Light, Busch Light, Miller Light, Michelob Ultra ... to paraphrase Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon, the cheaper the beer, the gaudier the marketing. In a way, Mulvaney is the perfect spokesthing for that stuff.

I don't buy beer because it's woke or for sale. I buy Warsteiner now and then. If I drink it's usually a special occasion (anniversary) dinner glass of wine. I'm thankful that I don't have to amend my drinking habits to political correctness. Still can't take trannies.

If I could produce a spoof ad, I would do the following. A burly man's man in jeans, flannel and combat boots goes into a bar and orders a Bud. The more he drinks the more effeminate and pretty he gets until he's a lisping supermodel in a dress and stiletto heals.

I rarely miss drinking...but every now and then I sorta miss a cold Pauli onna hot day while sailing. Light beer...ANY light beer, is beer for people that don't like the taste of beer.

I don't drink alcohol under any circumstance. Many people look at me crossed eyes as if I am from another planet when I tell them this. Personally I do not like the taste and alcoholism gallops in my family so no need to mess with family history. However, I can only assume there are woke companies everywhere and unfortunately I am sure I purchase their products unknowingly. The thing with this creep, Dylan, he is so obviously nasty pretending to be a woman. It's the fact that he declares himself female and therefore he is and some stupid a$$ company feels the need to celebrate his insanity. Replacing a biological woman with a queer man who now swears he is really a tranny in makeup is just insulting to all females, real females. He can party like a pretend female all he wants but he is a man with a nasty skinny body prancing around in a woman's sports bra like the insane creepy man he is. Do want you want but do not expect me to participate in your mentally ill world. Life is hard enough and I am not going to take on your insanity. I don't care about your feelings. I'm waiting for Kotex to celebrate his first period. Yeah, right. So the perfect woman for the job is a mentally ill man. That's just great.

I cook with way more beer than I drink, and to cook with "light" beers is like adding flavored seltzer without the flavor. I'll stick with my regional brews that bring out the flavor of what I am cooking.

Anheuser-Busch distributors in the South were “spooked” by the widespread backlash Bud Light received after teaming up with transgender social media star Dylan Mulvaney. The intense opposition to Mulvaney promoting the beer has been alarming to Anheuser-Busch distributors, which placed fewer orders after the partnership sparked outrage from conservatives who argued the company is pushing “gender propaganda,” according to a Beer Business Daily report reviewed by Fox News. “We reached out to a handful of A-B [Anheuser-Busch] distributors who were spooked, most particularly in the Heartland and the South, and even then in their more rural areas,” the popular beer industry trade publication wrote. I wanted to lead this article off with a Courtney Love quote that I read years ago, but I couldn’t find it. So I’ll paraphrase it. Love once told an interviewer that she had to learn the difference between honesty and candor, and she explained that honesty is telling the truth, while candor is telling the truth in a way that could offend. She said it much more colorfully, but the point is still valid. And one Florida lawmaker may have learned that lesson the hard way, especially when it comes to the transgender madness that’s sweeping the nation. Florida’s HB 1521, currently under debate in the legislature, addresses people

Brandon Johnson, a former union organizer who was elected on Tuesday, said the city doesn't have money to solve its problem because '70 percent of large corporations in the state of Illinois don't pay a corporate tax'. 'It's that type of restraint on our budget that has caused the type if disinvestment that has led to poverty, of course that has led to violence,' said Johnson, who didn't give the source for his claim. Reparations — the political gift (or grift, if you prefer) that keeps on giving — is, yet again, back in the news, and of course the looniest ideas are coming out of California, that bastion of slavery we all know from our American history classes. Huge numbers are being tossed around by the rabid left and the race-baiters (redundant, I know). If only we can give enough money, the left moans, then all will be fixed, all will be healed, and we can live in racial harmony. Think of the absurdity and mental gymnastics of reparations. In his letter to Wray, the committee’s chairman, Rep. Lightfoot, elected in 2019 after a career as a federal prosecutor who then held several appointed positions in Chicago, shut down the city for more than a year during COVID-19. For decades IQs were climbing in the Western World. It was called the “Flynn effect.” Average IQs were defined as 100 in each succeeding iteration of the IQ test, as by definition the average was normed to 100. But if you rescored earlier IQ tests based upon prior norms, the average IQ would have increased by about 15 points or one standard deviation. In other words, if you took an IQ test in 1942 and scored 100, by today’s scoring you would have an IQ of 86. That is, until the past 10 or so years. In the past 10 years, IQs have been dropping, and dropping pretty fast.
