Dems play same old hand: The Trump Card

If you are a consumer of Democratic Party propaganda, you learned over the last two years that Donald Trump is not only a unique threat to democracy, he also single-handedly caused inflation, created the crisis at our southern border and ran up the scandalous national debt. Just last week, you learned of two more ways the former president is destroying America. First, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg declared that voters in the 2016 presidential race were deprived of key facts that could have made Hillary Clinton the winner.

Before Trump Pelosi was still blaming Bush for things seven years after he was out of office. It's their tired old playbook. The most ridiculous blame on Trump was recently blaming him for the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle. They have no shame, nor their surrogate media.

I for one think it's working. What's happening now is Pennsylvania 2022 but on a national scale. Mastriano won enough votes to cancel out three Republicans who could have won the general, thanks to a primary campaign financed by his Democrat opponent. Same with the Senate race, where Oz squeaked out a 900 vote Trump-endorsed primary win, beating out a solid opponent in Dave McCormack. Add to that Trump's whining response to Bragg last week including an obvious slur at Rinos. Makes you wonder where he'll find votes beyond his base. As for the cash he's bringing in, it would be interesting to know how much of that is Democrat money.

Actually the people who are wounding President Trump are the individuals who are pushing candidates that cannot match his success during his first term. He was wildly successful and the statistics prove it. It is not a campaign boast, it is the truth. Plus he did it with democrats attacking daily and getting lukewarm support, if any, from the GOPe. This is the phenomenon that boggles my mind. You have a President doing great things for this country and the world and his party can’t get onboard because he is not catering to the Rinos and charlatans posing as Republicans?! In what universe can they continue to oppose the most successful President in modern history. This is not about personality although this is what they claim. It is all about protecting the status quo. These traitors posing as Republicans are self-focused and they certainly are not conservative. They are democrats and actual democrats today have become radical communists. When are Republicans going to understand that these two groups hate President Trump because he wants what is best for this country and the hard working people that are being crushed by the heinous ideology and policies pushed down our throats? At this point, the feckless Republicans who will not support PDT should realize that he is the man that will deliver. However, they would rather lose than support him. Don’t even bother saying he cannot win. He can and will and all it would take is if Republicans would unite behind him. Quit accepting democrat talking points! Donald Trump did not create the chaos around him. The media was committed to destroying him in 2015 by any means possible. The crime that Donald John Trump committed was exposing the corruption in Washington DC. He dared to condemn what they have been doing to this country for decades and offered a different path. Lastly, imagine where we would be today if the Republican Party had thrown their support to him. He did great things for the country and still these fools want to deny it. I guarantee if he had come to Washington and played the Rino game, he would be lauded by them. He came to serve the people and that is something the Republican aristocracy cannot abide. He has the best record of accomplishments and they ignore it simply because they cannot control him. He is committed to one thing. Saving this country from their absolute refusal to confront the democrat party when it is clear they have one goal, to totally transform this country. Even now that we see that is a disaster, they still will not come around and support him. That can only mean one thing, they are the problem. Before you roll your eyes, let me remind you President Trump has a loyal base and they are not going anywhere. You cannot find anyone who can overcome that. If he had been a mediocre President by all means anyone can throw in their hat. He was not. You was wildly successful. Failing to support him because you don’t like his personality especially after experiencing this lawless administration is like swallowing a camel and choking on a gnat. Democrats know Republicans will flee in the face of their attacks, lies, and lawfare. That is why that is their only strategy. What in the heck does that say for Republicans?

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Tuesday filed a federal lawsuit against Rep. Jim Jordan, alleging that the Republican lawmaker is trying to wage a campaign of intimidation over his prosecution of former President Donald Trump. In his lawsuit, the Democratic D.A. said he's taking legal action "in response to an unprecedently brazen and unconstitutional attack by members of Congress on an ongoing New York State criminal prosecution and investigation of former President Donald J. Trump." Bragg is asking a judge to invalidate subpoenas that Jordan, the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, has or plans to issue as part of an investigation of Bragg's handling of the Trump case.

Residents living near Portland's Willamette River have witnessed a series of homeless cabins and structures being built on prime river real estate with "million-dollar" city views but have so far been unable to get anyone to do anything about it. "Pretty much everyone comes back and says that they don’t have jurisdiction because it’s Union Pacific, it’s a railroad," Ric Scaramella, who owns a condominium on the other side of the Willamette River, told KOIN in a report Sunday. Scaramella told the outlet that people across the river from his home have been building makeshift cabins, complete with doors, windows and sometimes even solar panels, on the banks of the river

Amid Tennessee’s turmoil, Vice President Kamala Harris took a surprise trip to Nashville on Friday to meet with just-expelled state lawmakers, the state’s Democratic caucus and gun control advocates — but not with survivors of the victims of the mass shooting that prompted the political drama. The expulsions came after three legislators joined a gun control rally outside the state Capitol that then moved into the House chamber, disrupting proceedings as two of them blared their fury over a megaphone.

A woman on social media went viral recently for revealing the "no-religion" safe space she's created for her new home — with thousands of people share reactions and some 1,200 comments resulting in fewer than 12 hours. She asked others if she was in the wrong for "making our home into a no-religion space, and including my mother in the rules?" Fox News Digital reached out to a psychologist in New York City for professional input into the situation. The poster described herself as a 27-year-old woman whose 32-year-old girlfriend "finally moved in" after they'd been dating for three years.

Officials in the United States are scrambling to identify the source of an apparent breach of highly classified documents. The leak reportedly gives details on a range of topics, including Ukraine's air defense and Israel's spy agency. Chris Meagher, assistant to the secretary of defense for public affairs, told reporters on Monday that the online leaks presented a "very serious" risk to national security. What is the latest? Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has reached out to allies and worked to assess the leaks since he became aware of them on Thursday, Meagher said. The department is looking closely at "how this type of information is distributed and to whom," he added.

Democrats were dealt another blow from within their own ranks this week as yet another state lawmaker declared he was leaving the party. According to a Monday report by The Advocate, a Louisiana-based newspaper, state Rep. Jeremy LaCombe announced he had left the Democratic Party and would be registering as a Republican. It was not immediately clear what prompted LaCombe's departure, however he is now the second Louisiana Democrat in less than a month to switch party affiliations, and the third nationwide after another state lawmaker in North Carolina did the same.

The FBI recently sought to develop sources inside Christian churches and Catholic dioceses as part of an effort to combat domestic terrorism, according to internal documents released by House Judiciary Committee on Monday. The internal documents — obtained last month by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., who are also members of the so-called Weaponization Subcommittee — showed the FBI planned to use churches as "new avenues for tripwire and source development." The federal law enforcement agency also aimed to specifically target "mainline Catholic parishes" as part of its efforts.

This month, there was an “assault on democracy” in Tennessee. It was not three members halting the legislative process, but rather their expulsion. It appears that nothing says democracy like a bullhorn and obstructing legislative work. I recently wrote a column on how American politics has become a simple matter of amplification after Democrats stopped the Tennessee House proceedings with a bullhorn to protest the lack of gun control measures. I noted, “Today, for many, there is no room for nuance. Instead, they live in a world occupied only by ‘fascists’ and ‘insurrectionists.’ ” Right on cue, Vice President Kamala Harris and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) proceeded to add their own amplified voices

The last few weeks, the world had been writing off the United States as either crazy or irrelevant as it watches America cannibalize itself. Friends tremble at our sudden decline. Enemies rejoice. Neutrals make the necessary adjustments to join the ascendant non-American side. The symptoms of our decline abroad appear everywhere. The more Joe Biden brags about the crippling oil sanctions on Russia, friends like India and allies like Japan ignore them. And why not, when Biden has no idea how long the war in Ukraine will last, or how much wherewithal the United States can, should, or will give Kyiv, or how its on-to-Red-Square blank check will finally end?

Two former U.S. ambassadors are sounding the alarm on the increasing number of green energy projects nationwide being developed with the involvement of Chinese companies. Former U.S. Ambassadors Peter Hoekstra and Joseph Cella said Chinese companies, which are subject to strict Chinese laws, have made a concerted effort to take advantage of U.S. green energy goals. The companies, they said, are exploiting American tax incentives to build facilities and projects in the U.S., bolstering Chinese industry and ensuring continued U.S. reliance on technology from China.

On Good Friday, I chanced across a photograph of the lower Manhattan skyline at night from Good Friday in April 1956. Three skyscrapers, dominating the space, feature certain windows illuminated to form gigantic crosses to commemorate that most solemn of Christian holidays. The year 1956 was not that long ago. But how much has changed in those 60-odd years! Can you imagine such a public display of Christian affirmation in New York today? Nor can I. That was then. Now things are different. I thought about that disjunction between then and now when reading through Washington’s Farewell Address this weekend.

Although the hiring of Dylan Mulvaney as a spokesfigure (is that really a word?) is not mentioned, the move is implicitly part of the strategy she outlines, which is in essence, to forget about the existing customers, who are “fratty and out of touch,” and instead acquire new, younger customers, presumably the products of the indoctrination factories we call public schools and universities.

For decades IQs were climbing in the Western World. It was called the “Flynn effect.” Average IQs were defined as 100 in each succeeding iteration of the IQ test, as by definition the average was normed to 100. But if you rescored earlier IQ tests based upon prior norms, the average IQ would have increased by about 15 points or one standard deviation. In other words, if you took an IQ test in 1942 and scored 100, by today’s scoring you would have an IQ of 86. That is, until the past 10 or so years. In the past 10 years, IQs have been dropping, and dropping pretty fast.

The bill to end the national emergency cleared the Senate last month in a bipartisan 68-23 vote and passed the House earlier this year with 11 Democrats crossing party lines to vote for the joint resolution. "Since Congress voted to terminate the National Emergency earlier than anticipated,
