Anthony Fauci, the former chief medical advisor under Biden, warned another pandemic will be coming soon.
Speaking at a town hall discussion with Jim Acosta earlier this week, Fauci said “there will absolutely be an outbreak of another pandemic.”
Fauci said a pandemic could come as early as next year.
In March, Fauci made headlines after he suggested Americans will be “required” to get COVID-19 booster shots annually for the foreseeable future. [snip] “So, it is likely that we will require an intermittent — likely at the same time as we get a flu vaccine — at least once a year.

Chicago Mayor-Elect Brandon Johnson (D) told CBS News on Thursday his plan to tackle the city's crime problem: Send more social workers to crime scenes.
Johnson, a staunch progressive, pointed to instances where police killed black men as evidence to say more police officers are not the solution.
"This is really about making sure that people understand the context of the level of frustration when you see that type of brutalization over and over again, it can be discouraging," Johnson explained.
"We're working to double the amount of young people we hire, not just for summer jobs, but for year-round positions," he continued. "We've been pushing this ordinance called 'Treatment, Not Trauma.'

U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut says he expects to undergo surgery to repair a broken leg he suffered Saturday during a victory parade for the University of Connecticut men’s basketball team.
In a tweet Saturday night, Blumenthal said a fellow parade goer tripped and fell on him during the event in Hartford, Connecticut, to celebrate the team winning the NCAA basketball title on April 4 in Houston.
The 77-year-old Democrat said he was awaiting “routine surgery” on his femur scheduled for Sunday and expects a full recovery.
“What can I say, I love a parade!” he tweeted.

At last we know why the corporate world has fallen in love with pretend woman Dylan Mulvaney. As I noted Thursday, he seems to be everywhere all at once, and it seems unlikely that corporate giants are suddenly so taken with Dylan’s charm and wit that they are spontaneously all at once falling over themselves to make him their pitchman. But now we know why there is this sudden imperative to make this man America’s sweetheart: corporations are being strong-armed into featuring him, or else. [Tweet] The New York Post reported Friday that “executives at companies like Nike, Anheuser-Busch and Kate Spade, whose brand endorsements have turned controversial trans influencer

Last week, women's college swim champion Riley Gaines, who opposes the transgender agenda in women's sports, was physically assaulted and falsely detained by an enraged baying mob of transgender protestors at San Francisco State University. According to Fox News: "Former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines was barricaded in a room at San Francisco State University Thursday night after she was physically assaulted following a speech to students about saving women's sports at a Turning Point USA and Leadership Institute event on the campus. (Snip) The cops stood around and the university administrators did nothing. Which of course, is a pretty valid reason for a successful lawsuit with a hefty compensation payout, CORRECTION*

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) isn't happy with reports that former President Donald Trump’s campaign is seeking to hire Laura Loomer, an activist with a history of bigoted and anti-Muslim remarks.
Greene blasted Loomer as "mentally unstable" and a "liar." Trump recently met with Loomer and told his campaign advisers to give her a role to help boost his candidacy, either in the campaign itself or the main super PAC backing his White House bid, sources told the New York Times.

Upon receiving the news of the horrific killing of six people, including three nine-year old children, by a deranged and troubled shooter in Nashville, the Democrats and their stenographers in what passes as our “news” media immediately began their cultish ritual: knee-jerk calls for stricter gun control. In a revealing exchange between CNN’s Dana Bash and Rep. Dan Crenshaw, Bash accused House Republicans of loving guns more than children. She asked:
"Are you…telling the American people that mass shootings, including of young children, is just something that’s going to happen and you’re not going to make any moves, at this point to try to stop it?

An animated and passionate Kamala Harris made a last-minute trip to Nashville on Friday, where she condemned Republicans for their 'cowardice' in refusing to allow debate over gun control, and urged young people to rise up for what they believe in.
Harris traveled to the Tennessee capital after two black Democratic state representatives were expelled on Thursday for staging a protest inside the House, demanding more gun control.
A white female Democrat lawmaker who joined in the protest kept her job, sparking racism allegations.

Public education has long been a battlefield in the U.S., from the Scopes trial to desegregation to climate change. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s recent demands for greater control over public education—and students’ bodies—in the guise of “parent’s rights” accelerates this conflict, rejecting the importance of learning as a public good in itself in favor of promoting conformity and uncritical thinking.
As a historian of fascism and Italian fascist education, I find the moves to exert more power over education disturbingly familiar. Even ignoring the obvious harm DeSantis’s campaign inflicts on Florida’s students—already detailed by numerous experts

President Biden invited the three Tennessee Democrats who faced expulsion votes to the White House Friday, a day after two of them were ousted from the state legislature for protesting against gun violence.
Biden’s invite and conference call with the trio came on the same day Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to Nashville to meet with the lawmakers dubbed the “Tennessee Three.” The White House has not announced if Biden has invited the family members of the six victims of last week’s deadly shooting at the Covenant School – which precipitated the protest at the Tennessee statehouse – to Washington, DC.

The list of American companies and corporations facing backlash and the threat of boycotts as they fall like dominos to the woke mob seems to increase daily. One of the latest is Anheuser-Busch (AB InBev), after recently joining forces with transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light. This latest marketing decision does not seem to be a good one for the beer giant from the outset. On Thursday, Wil Fischer Distributing, located in the Springfield Missouri area, canceled all upcoming appearances of the iconic Anheuser-Busch Clydesdale horse team. The distributorship cited concerns about the safety of their employees in the wake of reaction surrounding the partnership

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Saturday tried to instruct Americans regarding political agendas as he faces backlash for his handling of recent train derailments.
“If your political agenda repeatedly puts you in various scenarios that involve overthrowing electoral outcomes, there might be a problem with your political agenda,” he wrote in a social media post:(Snip) One of Buttigieg’s followers claimed he was “doing an outstanding job,” before adding, “I cannot wait until you are President!”
However, another blasted the Transportation secretary’s comments, writing, “If a former president can make it to a disaster zone caused by a derailment in Ohio before anyone in your administration, there might be a problem
