Former President Donald J. Trump holds a towering 30-point lead over the rest of the potential 2024 Republican primary field, according to a poll. In an Emerson College Polling survey released Tuesday, 55.1 percent of registered voters said they would vote for Trump in the 2024 GOP primary, placing him 30.3 points ahead of his nearest competitor, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). The Florida governor garnered 24.8 percent of the response. Former Vice President Mike Pence came in third place as 7.5 percent of participants said they would back him, and 3.6 percent would support outgoing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the vice chair of the January 6th Select Committee. Sen. Ted Cruz

I like his national economic policy (I got edumacated from an earlier article today on this website explaining how critical that national policy is). I now know better why the lefties, RINOs, and never Trumpers absolutely despise PDJT. By his economic policy of placing America First and Foremost, he/it threatens the wall street globalists, Democrat/Republican uni-party members, the socialists, progs, and of course those virtue signalers that feign "America first" but in reality are bought and paid shills for continuation of uni-party status quo. Aside from his excellent policies when he was in office, I for one enjoyed his comments, sense of humor, vigor, public appearances, and forth-rightness. Gov. DeSantis yes (if DJT does not run). NFW WRT pense, noem, and others of that ilk, or any other pol who is a RINO, uni-party toad, or those who engaged in perfidy and politically back stabbed the President (pence, noem to ID a couple) while he was in or out of office. Only Don and/or only Ron (with caveat),

You can’t go back to the status quo when you have seen what a real America First agenda can do. The evil that has taken hold of this country and others around the world have absolutely nothing of value to offer the vast majority of people. We get it. Globalists know people are waking up to the reality of their agenda and want no part in their “you will own nothing and be happy” lies they are trying to sell us. People understand the abject corruption these elites are engaged in. Their policies and principles are antithetical to a free society wherein every person has value and rights that come from their creator and not from a cabal of godless egomaniacs. President Trump does not buy into this garbage and is ready to confront them head on and for that reason they see him as a real threat to their desire to rule the world. This is the driving force behind President Trump’s success. We know he understands what is going on and we trust him to go to battle on our behalf. The success he still has is because the people trust him and that is something that no party or donor can confer on a candidate. It must be earned. While victory does speak for itself, trust speaks louder and has more staying power.

National Policy is simply a means or a tool set if you will to shape things in accordance with you world view. And Trump’s world view is right on the money. That of his opponents, adversaries - be it McConnell, Schumer or the Davos crowd, is not. One reason Trump towers over the competition here is because there is no fraud involved. He will have similar margins in the general election if it were fair and legal.

Why Donald Trump would want to "drain the swamp" after all he has been through when he really would be personally better off just enjoying his life amazes me. But as a conservative American and veteran, I feel honored that he would stand and fight the corrupt DC elites for me. I am with him all the way because he demonstrated that under his leadership, America can be great. The DC swamp people feel threatened and that should be refreshing to all patriots.

The only poll I wanna see is "Do you think it is possible for anyone with an R beside his name to win a national election if swing states employ mail in ballots?" If you don't fix that, all of your polling and gabbing is of no consequence. All polling and debate should be focused on how you reform fake elections in states where you have no control.

Former President Trump attacked outgoing Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the vice chairwoman of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, over a recent Washington Post piece that said committee staff are frustrated with her Trump focus in the panel’s unreleased final report. The committee is set to culminate its long-running Jan. 6 probe with a much-anticipated report on its findings — but The Washington Post’s story said a number of anonymous current and former staff were “angered and disillusioned” by how much of the draft report they said was dedicated to the former president.

I wrote about how Elon Musk discovered “Stay Woke” t-shirts in a Twitter closet as he continues to sort out things at the headquarters. That says so much about the liberal nature of the platform before Musk. Musk also noted that the shirts go back to the time of the shooting of Michael Brown and the protests/riots in Ferguson. He also linked to the report of the Obama DOJ, noting that the shooting was in self-defense. That set off people on the left even more because they had to deal with the reality that their beliefs that they may have held about that shooting for years were fiction.

Senator-elect John Fetterman (D., Pa.) disavowed "dirty money" from corporate interests in his Senate campaign. Crypto scam artist Sam Bankman-Fried was an apparent exception, according to campaign finance records. Web3 Forward, a pro-crypto super PAC funded heavily by Bankman-Fried, spent more than $210,000 on ads portraying Fetterman as a blue-collar hero who would not "get schmoozed by lobbyists," the New York Times reported. Bankman-Fried, his crypto firm FTX, and one of his cofounders gave nearly $4.1 million to GMI PAC, another tech-oriented group that is the sole funder of Web3 Forward.

From the moment it became apparent that the deal to purchase the social media company was going to go through, they have been ranting and raving about horrible things are about to get on the platform. Prominent leftist influencers insist that Musk’s focus on free speech will only lead to more misinformation and bigotry being promulgated on the site. But in reality, they seem to be more frightened by the prospect of people who espouse views different from theirs might just have a level playing field

Former President Donald Trump lashed out Wednesday at the Supreme Court — three of whose justices he appointed — for unanimously rejecting his request to block a congressional committee from obtaining his federal income tax returns. Trump's rant against the conservative-dominated court came a day after the 2024 Republican presidential hopeful learned of the court's move, and saw ominous signs at three other courts where he faces troublesome cases. Those other cases include two criminal investigations of Trump and a civil lawsuit that threatens his New York City-based company. That firm, the Trump Organization, separately is on criminal trial in Manhattan for an alleged tax-avoidance scheme. Trump has denied

Democrat Mary Peltola has won the race for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, NBC News projected Wednesday, defeating former governor and GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. While the election was held earlier this month, the race was not called for weeks because of Alaska’s new ranked-choice voting system where voters rank the candidates in order of preference. After the first round of voting, Peltola led Palin by more than 20 percentage points, with Republican Nick Begich, a scion of one of Alaska’s most well-known political families

A fun leftover from yesterday, in which the Paper of Record tries to answer the age-old question: Are the tweets bluer on the other side of the fence? Excuse me, the toots? The New York Times took a closer look at the new Mastodon instant-messaging platform to which reporters of all stripes — but mainly progressives — have recently decamped. The selling point for the service is its decentralization as well as its collaborative moderation, at least theoretically. In practice, however, it looks more like a confused mess where “journalists” eat their own rather than practice tolerance, including at the Journa.host node funded in large part by the J-school at CUNY:

Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a Republican senator who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump and was up for reelection, beat challenger Kelly Tshibaka to secure her fourth full Senate term. Murkowski is considered to be one of the more centrist Republican voices in Congress, and her win could help President Joe Biden pass his agenda as well as extend her clout in the closely divided Senate. Neither Murkowski nor Tshibaka, the top two candidates in the four-person race, reached the 50% threshold needed for an outright win, which meant the winner was decided by ranked-choice tabulation that was announced on Wednesday.
