A new member of President Joe Biden’s State Department previously worked to build strong ties between Americans and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Washington Free Beacon first reported.
Nina Hachigian is currently serving in the newly created State Department position of “Special Representative for Subnational Diplomacy.” Hachigian will be tasked with developing the department’s ties with cities in the U.S. and abroad, but she previously worked with multiple groups to foster closer ties between the U.S. and China, according to the Free Beacon. More than 300,000 smartphones used to monitor illegal immigrants were given to noncitizens by the Biden administration last month, according to data collected by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.
Issuing such cellular devices to illegal immigrants is part of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement program called the Alternatives to Detention, which essentially gives the individuals access to U.S. soil before their court dates.
The smartphones, which cost taxpayers $361,218.08 per day, use facial recognition, GPS monitoring, and voice identification, according to ICE.
Jon Feere, former DHS senior adviser and director of investigations at the Center for Immigration Studies, told the Free Beacon last month

At a Democrat fundraiser held Thursday night at the New York City home of James Murdoch, Joe Biden warned the United States is on the brink of nuclear “Armageddon” with Russia over Ukraine, according to pool reports. Biden likened the situation to the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis that brought the U.S. and Russia to a standoff over Russian nuclear missiles placed on Cuban soil.
Biden reportedly said, in part, “We’re going to continue to support [Ukraine] but (for) the first time since the Cuban missile crisis, we have the direct threat of the use of a nuclear weapon if in fact things continue down the path that they are going.

Leaks from the Department of Justice that charges are imminent against Hunter Biden over tax and gun offenses suggest he is getting a sweet deal after a four-year investigation by Delaware US Attorney David Weiss.
Missing from The Washington Post account of the DOJ case against the president’s son is any mention of previously mooted charges over money laundering and violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), both of which could lead prosecutors to inspect the president’s involvement in an influence-peddling scheme run by his son and brother Jim Biden during Joe’s time as vice president.

Vice President Kamala Harris made the absurd claim that Americans don’t need to compromise their religious values to be pro-abortion.
While claiming to be a devout Catholic, Harris declared that getting an abortion, i.e. killing an innocent life, has nothing to do with God or religious beliefs.
When asked what Harris would say “to someone who understands why abortion should be a personal decision between a pregnant person and whomever else they decide to include in the conversation but believes they can't reconcile it with their faith?” Harris responded that the decision should only involve the pregnant woman’s decision.

A former U.S. Attorney said reports of potential federal charges against Hunter Biden didn’t “make sense” on Fox’s “The Story” Thursday.
“So much of it doesn’t make sense, Martha, and I will tell you why,” Brett Tolman, the executive director of Right on Crime, told host Martha MacCallum. “Let’s take, for example, the alleged leaking and potential felony charges. The only time that would apply is if they were leaking actual material or information that was conveyed to the grand jury.”
Federal agents reportedly believe that sufficient evidence exists to charge Hunter Biden with violations of federal tax and gun laws,

Biden delivered remarks on ‘creating jobs’ in the Hudson Valley.
The Biden Regime has not created any jobs.
Americans going back to work after Democrats forced businesses to close down during the Covid pandemic is not ‘job creation.’Biden said since he came into office, the US economy created 668 manufacturing jobs.
“As I said, since I came to office, our economy has created…668 manufacturing jobs.” said Biden.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on Thursday signed off on a plan to strip any mention of the Confederacy from U.S. military bases, including renaming the Army’s legendary Fort Bragg and Fort Hood, signing off on a process that critics said was a prime example of “woke” attitudes in President Biden’s Pentagon.
Mr. Austin, whose endorsement of the plan was widely expected, said the changes would be implemented “as soon as possible.”
The report that recommends the stripping of all references to Confederate figures arrived at Mr. Austin’s desk 18 months after Congress mandated a Naming Commission to review the issue.

The FBI raided the home of yet another pro-life activist on Wednesday, as the federal agency ramps up its attacks on political opponents of the Biden regime. With guns drawn, agents swarmed and entered Chester (Chet) Gallagher’s Tennessee home for his role in a peaceful pro-life event that took place over a year ago outside a Mt. Juliet, Tennessee abortion facility.
Gallagher was out of state when armed agents raided his home last night, but the FBI entered his home and interrogated his neighbors, according to Live Action. Just like pro-life activist Mark Houck, who was arrested by agents less than a month ago, Gallagher is being charged

Prices at the pump had already started edging up before OPEC+ decided Wednesday to cut oil production by 2 million barrels a day, ignoring the White House’s frantic appeals. “It’s clear that OPEC+ is aligning with Russia with today’s announcement,” flamed White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
Wrong again, Karine: The Saudis and the rest are simply serving their own interests by limiting supply to keep prices high; they’re gettin’ while the gettin’ is good. Too bad your boss, President Joe Biden, refuses to serve America’s interests by unleashing US energy producers.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is showing elected officials across the country what true leadership looks like.
In just three days, the construction of the Pine Island Bridge — damaged during the hurricane — has already been repaired so that emergency responders and the general public can reach the island.
This was two days ahead of schedule.(Tweet/Video) Politico reported:
The state of Florida reconnected a key bridge decimated by Hurricane Ian that cut off mainland road access for thousands of residents, but fixing a second damaged bridge system to reconnect another barrier island could take weeks longer even for a temporary solution.
