Mehmet Oz, the celebrity doctor and Republican Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, rushed into the crowd to help a woman who collapsed during his campaign rally in Bucks County on Saturday. (Tweet) Within thirty seconds of the woman collapsing, Oz reportedly rushed from backstage and hopped over a barrier between him and the crowd to give the woman aid. Oz conducted a “preliminary assessment” of the woman who collapsed, according to Oz campaign spokesperson Brittany Yanick. Oz stayed in the crowd with the woman until medics could put her on a stretcher and wheel her out of the venue.

He is a Doctor first, a Celebrity (as the Article called him) second. Of course he would rush to help this woman. I'm not surprised. He's not my favorite person, but if I lived in PA, I would vote for him over the Guy who won't come out of his Basement. Yes, he had a Stroke. But, either he is fit to handle the job, or he isn't! My money would be on Oz (who just proved he is Fit by jumping over a barrier at his age)!

The last time I worked in a medical facility was 1962. And since that time, I have given first aid to countless persons in need. And I was a mere medic.
Dr. Oz was doing what he had to do.

This positive instinctive reaction will earn him big points with the people. I hope he beats the grass-smoking, prisoner-coddling Fetterman by a huge margin. Pennsylvania is overdue for some better politicians.

Oz seems to have his heart in the right place, but I wonder if this is wise? Dems could set up a 'medical distress to lure him through a crowd, then assassinate him. I hope he has good alert bodyguards.

How ironic would it be if Dr. Oz leaped in to save a stroked-out Fetterman during their debate?

It might be good practice for when he has to debate Fetterman.

Like another poster here my first thought was a campaign ploy. Democrats do it all the time most obvious failures, but the media eats it up. I'll give it to the doc it's his profession like Fetterman would run to a stoked-out hippie with some weed. Bless their hearts.

It would be amusing to see Fetterman trying to jump over any barrier that's more than 6 inches in height.

I'm suspicious too, for two reasons. First, hes a politician and that alone makes him a pathological liar. We hold out hope that one will emerge who isn't one, but we've seen what happens to politicians who have integrity. Second, he's a Turk. They see themselves as the latest incarnation of the stereotypical sneaky Arab trader. Everything is some kind of a grift to them.

This is at least the second time this has happened during his campaign. It’s starting to smell fishy. I’ve been a physician for nearly 30 years and only once in my life have I ever come across someone who needed aid.

I don’t believe this incident is fake. But I understand the cynicism after so many democrat staged events.

I REALLY do not like Oz and I think this was a setup. That being said, its not like setups don't happen all the time on the left, and Fetterman is the worst of the two. Therefor, Go Oz.

2nd post apologies, but #12, you must not have had children who played soccer, baseball, football, tennis, basketball, participated in Track.
Either that, or you specialized in the diseases of the rich! (Just kidding)

I think Dr. Jill wanted to do that at a Biden rally. But there was nobody in the audience and she’s not that kind of doctor.

In 2000 my elderly father and I were at a Bush rally. I looked down at my dad, he was slumped over in his wheelchair, blue, not breathing. Because he was a a veteran and in a wheelchair, we had been placed down front. I reached for the Secret Service agent in front of us, They lifted him wheelchair and all over the barricade and whisked him backstage. Senator (Dr) Bill Frist had left the stage to work on him, including shock, and them gave me a thumbs up! He was alive. We don't realize it, but like that day where the President, Vice President, Senators and more were present, they must have full emergency services set up. We were blessed No where else could we have had instant care! And at that moment Bill Frist was certainly a Dr, not a politician!

An actual doctor, as opposed the the First Bag Lady's unimpressive Ed Doc thingy.
I don't know how much I agree with Oz's politics, but he'll definitely beat a brain damaged basement dwelling Demonrat.

Oz is a noted cardiothoracic surgeon who happens to have ended up on television. Developer/businessman did much the same thing. Neither was or is a “politician”. Read Oz’s bio...

I am really really glad that I am occasionally a skeptic, but not a cynic. What a sad negative way to live, always looking for ulterior motives.
