Signs reading “In God We Trust” are becoming more common in Texas schools as a result of a recent rule that mandates the exhibition of such posters in schools if they are given as donations.
Senate Bill 797, which was passed through the Texas legislature the previous year, requires schools to display the posters in a “conspicuous place” as long as they were “donated” or “purchased by private donations.” This has led to the signs being displayed in a variety of locations across the state recently.
The mobile phone business Patriot Mobile, which is situated in Texas, gave the Carroll Independent School District a number of signs that are presently being shown

I am a Christian, but putting up signs that say, "In God We Trust" is not putting God back in school, not will it convert people. I mean, put up some signs with God's Word on it, which the Holy Spirt uses to convict and show people truth. If you're going to spend money for such an endeavor, make it a good use.

#1, such as what? You oppose the simple statement 'in God we trust' because it isn't enough? Personally, I think it is a very good start to opposing the pagans' energetic push to drive all things Christian out of schools and, indeed, all of public discourse.

#2, my point is that posting "In God We Trust" does not make it true, nor did it convince anyone to do so. God uses His Word to convict and to bring people to repentance, not slogans that really don't pertain to them.

#1 is right. The very first thing to do is start teaching creation beside evolution. Contrast and compare. Because when they is taught properly, God's Word will win every time. https://www.creationworldview.org/a-primer-on-the-scientific-reasons-that-evolution-is-wrong

I live in Texas, am a Christian, and am very much in favor of this law. The Legislature has passed a cleverly thought out bill that requires schools to post donated signs stating the "National Motto". There's a big leap from there to signs teaching a particular religious belief. How delightful that the motto happens to be "In God We Trust". I hope local Christian churches will quickly raise funds and donate signs.

I love Patriot Mobile! We switched over a year ago and saved money. (They send a copy of the constitution when you sign up.)
Our first switch had us on a T-mobile network, which did not work well in Houston. But then they allowed me to switch to the AT&T network and it is the same as when I was using AT&T.

It's a start. The left thinks long game, and so should we. Start with signs, then slide in creationism, and on and on from there. The American church has to work on canceling, yes cancel, the false Christianity of the name it-claim it, seven mountains, health and wealth, astro traveling, fake healers, etc. liars. There are many calling attention to these false teachers; people have to stop listening to, believing, and supporting these shysters. They should be shunned and run out of town. Mark Chironna was run out of Raleigh a few years ago, and guess what he blamed it on? You guessed it, racism. He was too nice to those colored folks he was deceiving, and white racists didn't like it. Yeah, right. It wasn't his false teaching at all. Anyway, we need to get back to shutting these folks down. It starts with ignorant people though. Half the stuff they teach doesn't even make sense, but millions of people are falling for it. Stepping off my soapbox now.

So does the full-throated support of a law that REQUIRES schools to display posters in a conspicuous place as long as they were donated or purchased by private donations include supporting the poster little Muhammed's dad, the imam, donated that says, "In Allah We Trust" or "Allahu Akbar"?
I'd rather we not have laws compelling schools to post anything.
