Rob O’Neill, a former Navy SEAL who was part of the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden, has issued a warning for the US and the Afghan people, 11 years after the operation to take out the 9/11 mastermind and 12 months on from the withdrawal of troops from Kabul.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, the two-time Silver Star winner says the Taliban has only been emboldened by taking over the government, filling the vacuum left by Western forces, and has taken rights - especially for women - back to where they were on September 10, 2001.

Looking at Antifa makes it hard to assert that the woke Left simply hate the military. They just hate OUR military, because they hate our country and its founding principles of individual liberty and limited, representative government.

It has been this way since Vietnam, patriots give everything to serve their country and when you return home it's to an America that you no longer recognize. The politicians don't want to win they just want perpetual wars to stimulate the economy and enrich the elites.
I anticipate that the next war will be canceled due to lack of interest, unless it's the civil kind.

First, DM needs to do some stories of suffering British veterans and they will find many of the same sentiments.
All the “thank you for your service” phrases in typical campaign speeches, photops with the military on holidays all ring pretty hollow with most of us now. I say that because neither party REALLY makes the well-being of military and their families a MAJOR issue worth taking any political risks. The older veterans I know do remember Trump trying harder than anyone at making our local VA give far better service.

"O'Neill believes US legitimacy is steadily declining in the wake of the withdrawal and superpowers like China are 'mocking us' because 'we're fighting ourselves about what pronouns to use'."
How can a guy be so right and so wrong?
"'I've met Joe Biden and personally like him,' he said. 'But it's not the person who's in the White House for four or eight years that's the problem."

'It's the person that's been on Capitol hill for 45 years that's the problem.
Hello! Where's Biden been for the past 45 years?

I've been asking the same question. Everything I fought against in the 80's and 90's is here now, running the show. Despite my best efforts, I was a total failure defending this nation.

The military secretaries, JCS. and about half our top military generals and admirals need to be retired. There are many good colonels and LyCols that could better do the job.

They were there preparing the way for China to get mining and mineral rights to the multi trillions of dollars worth of rare earth mineral deposits that the US Geological survey knows are there in Afghanistan and the Chinese knows where they are too.

#13 - Tthe deal was inked and the Big Guy's 10% was in the bank - there can be no other explanation for our sudden and tragic exit. A good friend who spent time on the ground there said the Chinese have been surveying mineral deposits- including rare earths - for years and it was now time for us to get out of the way.
